25th Rowdy Piper

One question... Does a review for the 25th Rowdy Piper figure exist?

I think I will never find one of those figures...So I will attempt a custom with some of the new WWE 3.5 wrestling figures?

But I will need a review to see the details and stuff?

I used to have 3 of them, one opened and two for display. Sold the open one and one of the carded though. Let me say this, the figure was not good. The arms were molded jacket sleeves, so if you took of the jacket his arms looked off, and the helmet was a black repaint of serpentor's and did not fit his head at all.

I never owned one, and I've never actually seen one. I'd like to have one of those in my collection, of course, but the figure in pictures I've seen seemed... "Odd", if you get my meaning. Like the above poster said and somethings else.

I really wanted to get my hands on Piper, it was a great idea for him to counteract Sgt. Slaughter. As a fan of both wrestling and GI Joe, he's a perfect fit for me. But I just didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on him, it's a shame he was made in such limited quantities. Perhaps Jakks will make one available in their Build and Brawl line.

I do believe Aloyasha has a kit for Roddy available. SO if you are a good painter you could have your own. Personally I'd like him to be wearing a Hot Rod Shirt.

Just like I don't consider Sgt Slaughter the wrestler and Sgt Slaughter the Joe to be the same character, I don't consider Piper the Wrestler and Piper the Iron Grenadier to be the same person. They just share a name and a likeness. I think I might LBC make one with a DTC Outback head and a 25th IG body. That's if I get a DTC outback.

I will keep working on my Pipper.... I am trying different things. It would be easier to get a 25th Piper...But I will not pay $200. for him....Not in this life! LOL!

The head is from Broken Arrow Toys. The kilt is from an older Jakks Pacific RRP figure that I chopped up. I'm glad you like it. I still need a decal for the shirt. How did you do yours?
