Idk about the new hawk look, but the mailaway doc looks freakin' awesome!!

I already wanted Hawk and Snake-Eyes Unfortunately I'll have to get 2 of all 3 just to have enough stickers to get Doc :(

I'm still thinking the Flag Points are going to have a value of Two Points. However someway, somehow I'm going to get a Doc figure.:D
BTW does anyone know if these pictures are the final product? If they are then the Doc offer expires 8/31/08. Which I guess is enough time.:confused:

I'll pick up whatever I need to in order to get Doc...

I was already going to pick up the Hawk (and Scarlett). I kinda like the all-white Storm Shadow (more like the original-- I'll just need to swap out his gear for black gear). And, I like that Duke comes with an ALICE pack-- even if it's just Gung Ho's, I can still paint it and use it for my other 25th Duke.

Well technically Duke looks like a carbon copy of the original V1 Hawk ;)

It will really hurt to buy this wave 1 comic pack crap.

I can still see myself shelling out just to get doc.

Three bad comic pack purchases might be justified if the other two packs in wave 2 are cool. We already know that Dreadnoks pack will rock.

A little lame to get only one new joe in those packs,but at least its an original line up figure.

I'll get them just to get that doc,Great looking figure.Paint detail is incredible,i just hope the final product ends up looking that good.

Looks like Hawk to me (YoJoe.com (http://www.yojoe.com/action/83/hawk1p5.shtml)). Maybe you're thinking of this version (http://www.yojoe.com/action/86/hawk2.shtml) of Hawk, which was actually the 2nd version. The Hawk in the upcoming comic pack resembles Hawk version 1, which did share the same body mold as Snake Eyes version 1. So in this case, a repaint actually makes sense (to me at least).

I'm kinda steemed that i gotta get a bunch of repaints in order to get a new figure being Doc, even though hawk V1 is cool and done well, i was kinda hoping for a little more than a repainted flash, but oh well...(Thats all he was in the eighties anyway :) )
Though i guess im just going to have to suck it up and get these and accept the customs that could come from these.

Hopefully whatever is needed to get the Doc figure will be easily taken out of the comic packs so I can keep them relatively MOC.

I do not want to buy two of each set just to keep one of them in mint condition.

Well, at least Doc is a dude again. I like the Hawk figure well enough, but I hope they release an mid 80's General Hawk with the bomber giant. Hmm... reckon I'll be saving up to buy these as well.

Think they'll paint Scarlette's lips this time around?

I didn't plan on getting the duke vs. Cobra Comander or Snake eyes vs. Stom Shadow packs, but I will DEFENETLY NOT MISS DOC!!!!

Well I'm getting 2 of each, keeping Hawk and Storm Shadow (After an Acc Swap with the 5 pack one) and the rest go to my kids and I get Doc

Really not looking foward to buying the SE and SS 2 pack. Stormshadow looks almost exactly the same as the other one, don't care for Snake-Eyes' color either.

At least the Duke has a new gun and backpack, nothing great about CC though, that will make 3 of him so far, not counting the hooded one. Hawk is awesome though and so is Doc. Maybe I'll get Doc on ebay too or try to wait till wave 2 comes out to get him.

ya, but get ready for the $100+ price tag on Doc. Can't imagine anybody going through all the hoops to get him and then letting him go for any less.

Might make an interesting thread..."How much would you pay for Doc?"...

Where are you all finding the info on the Doc mail-away? How many points or stickers do we need to get him?
