So I thought some Joe collectors were crazy, and a lot of them are. Scalpers, card benders, Hiders, army builders, and the like. But none of you have S*!t on this guy.

His Name is Paul McCloud.

He lives here.
http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm224/dansartain/graceland03.jpg
What is that you might ask. Well that My friend is Graceland too.

Graceland too is the site of the lagest collection of Elvis memorabilia (presumably) on earth. Wall to wall the whole place is covered with Elvis. I don't know about anyone who could dispute his claim of having the largest collection of Elvis memorabilia in the world, but I'll put it this way..I feel bad for the bastard that dose have more Elvis stuff than this guy.

Take a look.
*none of these are pictures I took, I just pulled them from the internet, but they are what I saw*

*EDIT*
Did I mention the guy is bat shit crazy?!!
He has dentures that keep falling out of his mouth every time he speaks. He tells you perverted stories right in front of your girlfriend. He is addicted to Coke-a-Cola. Oh yeah, and he had at least 6 television sets all hooked up at once to record any, and all television programs that might mention the name Elvis Presly.
For example I looked through one of the books of "data" that dated back to 1992, and it had a portion of a monolouge from the 'Arsenio Hall show' that mentioned the Elvis stamp. The next page had a mention of a 'Full House' episode where uncle Jesse had an Elvis poster in his room. Those were just a few of an entire three ring binder full of this kind of stuff.

He then went on to show my Girlfriend, and I a ziplock bag full of woman's underwear that was supposedly "left" for him.

He claims that Lisa Marie, and percilla are constantly after him to sell bits, and peices of his collection to the actual Graceland estate.

The man is crazy, but if your ever in Hollysprings, Mississippi check it out. It is perhaps the most amazing display of outsider art I have ever seen.

Wow....I thought I had a problem because I hang my flying vehicles. That is wild. It must be so cluttered in that place. Nice collection though. That be a lot of Elvis.

Man, a lot of the time on this forum i want to say "Hey, stop buying toys for five seconds and get some new furniture or something," but this guy needs to leave the 60s and 70s behind.

Cluttered dosen't even begin to discribe it. I didin't see a toilet a kitchen or a bed. He only eats out fast food. He only sleeps 4 hours at a time, and his "museum" is opend 24 hours a day. He lives for this stuff

alice cooper rules.
Yes he dose. Actually the Alice Cooper group rules (it was a band you know).

Yes it is. He claims to have a huge collection of guns, and that some of them belonged to Elvis. That part is probably b.s. but I woulden't try to rob the guy. I'd feel bad for the sob that did.

He did pull out a wad of $100 dollar bills from his pocket, and he had a brand new Cadillac sitting out side. He said "It's so clean you could eat cheeseburgers from the oil pan".

I don't see anything strange about it. In fact, if I had the stuff, and my wife let me, I'd do the same with Star Wars. I could name my house Star Wars too and fill the garage with pictures and posters from all six movies, including one of those huge subway posters with Darth Maul on it. Then I'd fill a room so full of figures and toys that most of it would end up in totes or stuck in drawers because I ran out of space for everything...

Oh wait, that's what I do now.

You know, I have had delusions about opening my own Joe museum (I don't have nearly the amount of stuff needed for that though) I'm sure there are many Elvis fans that love this guys collection.

Remember that one man's trash is another's treasure. We collect toys in cardboard boxes that we then seal in plastic boxes, I'm sure that sounds a little bat-shit crazy to non collector types

It's totaly worth the $5 man. You should go.

He claims a lot of off the wall stuff is true that totally isin't, but I was looking through his collection of photos, and there has been a lot a celebrity visits there. It's hard to tell what is b.s., and what is not.

Yeah Man. Here he is Elvis (http://www.howlinwolf.com/mark/people/mcloud/mccloud.htm)
He ran out on him a few years ago. Asked My friends what happend to him. They said that close to the time of his departure if you looked cool he would kinda whisper to you "hey you got any weed? or beer?". I think the place drove him crazy.

thats beautiful!
Beautiful, and kinda tragic too. I loved it

Ya know I've been thinking about it, and His collection it's self dosen't really make him crazy. He is delusional, and that makes him crazy. I don't want to appear to bash the guy cus' I actually think what He dose is cool, but He says some pretty off the wall stuff. One part of me thinks what he is doing is unhealthy, but it's probably what keeps him out of the mental hospital. One day it might drive him to the mental hospital, but for now it's borderline

I have to agree with you here, his collection is pretty intense, not neccesarly something I'd want but it's great. In fact the thing that makes his collection while overbearing and causes him to become delusional is the fact that Elvis was very significant towards western culture.

The difference between this and say some dude with a "80'S POPCULTURE MUSEUM" is that he's delusional for thinking people care about this stuff the same way people care about Elvis or JFK and crazy for opening his house up so we can see a box of Action Stars cereal and a vinyl copy of the Transformers soundtrack

For the record, although He did pull out that bag of underwear without a warning he did try to warn you, delta, that he "never would say anything in front of a LADY". And why would women's underwear be a part of his elvis tour? Elvis didn't touch them panties!

It was only after we turned his suggestion down about me getting in his brand new running cadillac while you DUDES talked outside of the car that made him spill his midget and defecation stories. Wow. He really wanted to tell you those stories too, I remember him mentioning it like 3 times while we were in the tour.

What a goober! Definately worth it though.

Let me say that a girl should be accompanied by at least one guy to go to this tour. He WILL lock you in his outside shed with barbed wire fencing.

He was kind of a gentelman of sorts, but yeah he kinda coulden't resist Himself showing the underwear. I remember Him calling You a stone cold FOX.!!

If you wanted to throw the book at him you probably could, but His place is actually a pretty big tourist attraction given the size of the small town He is in. I think He probably is the most famous resident the town has. So officals just kinda look the other way.

Graceland too is right between Tupelo Mississippi (Elvis birthplace, and home of the Elvis Presley Museum) and Memphis (Sun Records, Graceland). Thousands of people a year from all over the world do the trek from Tupelo to Memphis. It's only natural that a lot of them would stop at Graceland too. It's a great slice of Americana plus I think it actually generates a good bit of money into that town.

Seems sort of cool to me.
