I was browsing JoeDios and noticed Gen. Scarlett has a Joe-verse where Gen. Colton and Jane are married with 2 nearly grown kids.

This got me to wondering what it's like in everyone else's Joe-verse?

Take mine for example:

- The original Doc is still alive and performing general surgery, while his niece is primarily the lab technician and CBR specialist. They work like general ER consults along with Lifeline, who acts as a field surgical tech or PA-C.

- Cammy and Guile from Street Fighter are members of the Joe team as official adjunct hand-to-hand instructors/advisors on temp loan from the Air Force and British SAS. . .respectively.

- My army is actually stationed off the coast of the Hebrides as a relief unit sent to aid and support Action Force, who are recovering/regrouping in my MCC infirmary.

- Serpentor has successfully unified forces loyal to Cobra Commander and Destro's Iron Grenadiers who are attempting a takeover of Scotland. Action Force is in trouble. Thank heaven there's no sign of the Red Shadows.

- All spies are located somewhere among the ranks of the opposite side. Order and Junkyard are sniffing at Burnout's heels, and Agent Faces is leading a Cobra SMS unit while calling in an airstrike on a red Firefly phone.

- I have an elaborate chain of command for both sides, with Cobra subcategorized down to the lowest Viper. The Joe team's leadership is divided between Air, Sea, Land, and Orbital Space Defense/Sat Intel Command respectively, with all top brass utilized and working together.

- Everything in my collection follows comic and filecard continuity until about issue 105 and then everything gets thrown out the window.

Let's hear about your Joe-verse! We're all ears. :D

In my current Joeworld all I have is 25th figures. They are all awaiting orders atm. As for my Joeworld as a child, I have been posting them in a series of threads here on the Tank.

Well since I'm a very new Joe fan I've had to tie in the existence of the 25th Joes to my existing alternate universe of my Transformers.

I won't lay out the entire Calvinballinian story but it starts with Anachrocons abducting various people and settling them on the abandoned husk of Unicron.

Fast forward many years of fighting, death, and a mutual friendship between Megatron and Prime (Had to put them on the same shelf) the Joes now protect a power plant to keep Cobra from using the energy to go back to the future using the Lego Star Destroyer (Had to tie that in somewhere). So new Joes/Cobras keep being abducted and the Joes have the energy to leave but can't leave Cobra alone, the Cobras can't get to the energy, the Star Wars universe needs CC's troops, and the Transformers are staying out of the entire matter.

And that is why my bedroom gives me headaches.

I'm in the PAC NW, United States. But I really dig Action Force as well.

I'd like to believe that the Joes, Transformers, and Marvel Universes are all in one. That way I don't have an anurisem.

ARAH and the 25th Joes are how they were in the Marvel comics and the cartoon. I've recently got back into the JvsC, Spytroops, and VvsV. Those are in a new verse, more sci-fi, since that's how the fig's and vehicles seem to be based off. Basicly Overkill, wants all humans wiped off the planet, so he stole one of Dr. Mindbenders versions of the T-Virus, to wipeout humans. Cities are over-run by the undead and now the Joes and Cobra are not only battling each other, but Overkill and his andoid army and the undead. The Joes go into the cities seeking out survivors, Cobra, Overkill, and the undead. Cobra is seeking out Overkill as well, and any Joes who threaten how Cobra will re-create society, once Cobra rids the planet of the undead and Overkill.

My universe stopped with Marvel's GI Joe #155. I refuse to believe Lady J is dead, Destro has a son and Zartan has a daughter. I just could not get into that universe. In fact, I have no idea what's even going on past a few bits of info I've heard around the forums. (WWIII???)

The cartoon side ended with the DIC miniseries Operation Dragonfly just so Cobra Commander didn't remain a snake from the Movie.

Of course I've always wanted to write a comic to explain Cobra-La as being a chemically induced nightmare Cobra Commander had while he was getting a molar removed at the dentist. Hahaha

I have such good ideas but no medium, EVERYONE wants to write a Joe comic. You have to be in the "know" and have the right contacts.

I wanted to write stories from the "every-man" aspect of the Cobra orginization. One man's rise from poverty to the ranks of a CeeGee to being one step away from becoming the ruler of Cobra while Serpy and CC fought amongst themselves.

I've also wanted to do stories that took place between the Marvel run... like issue 59.5, taking place between issue 59 and 60, just so it could remain within the 1980's GI Joe universe where age and weird story lines didn't matter.

Wow, great stories everyone!

My Joeverse...is dusty. Seriously. I need to dust. It's horrible. I'm ashamed of myself. You would think that no one lives here, or looks at those toys every damn day.

Other than that...everything is boxed up and put away. I just got my toy room back, so as time permits, I will be able to unpack items and display them in my oh-so-picky way.

And the award for "groaner of the year" goes to. . .:D

I know what you're saying. Feather-dusters knock everything around and the canned air isn't working.

Other than that...everything is boxed up and put away. I just got my toy room back. . .

Congrats! I have decided to justify the dust in my Joeverse as some kind of nuclear ash spread about after Cobra detonates some kind of device. Yeah, that's it.

WIN!

Seriously though, man. Ask Apacolypse about the Dust. He's the proud owner of at least 90% of my original ARAH vehicles.

My joeverse....

well....

tis cramped.

I needs my joe room....one of the bedrooms will go soon, sad thing is....I don't think any of the bedrooms will be enough room. Wife isn't too happy with the thought of turning the dining room into a joe room either. sad.

Good ideas. :D

Duke forms his own group of renegades after being disenchanted with dealing with government red tape. GI Joe is all but disbanded, alive in name only, now that most of the funding is used to fight terrorism in the middle east.

Slaughter and Abernathy have died so Duke and Scarlett feel they need to take up the slack. They form a group of ex Joe, Renegades, Steel Brigade, and CIA; paying them as Private Investigators, a cover to routing Cobra and Iron Grenadier activity.

There never was a Serpentor, and the Destro/Cobra alliance is gone. Instead each acts on their own accord, and if one steps in the other's way...that's the gamble of war. Firefly works for both in secret and gains a foothold into the Russian mob and uses his influence in an attempt to take over cold war nukes and hold all nations hostage...

Meanwhile Bruce Wayne (as an old man) meet Snakes and Stormy and they decide to seclude themselves with Kamakura, Jinx, Budo, Vypra, and the rest of the red ninja in the Tibetan mountains. They train and live in secret. The rest of the world has forgotten that they exist.

In MY Joeverse...

Lady Jaye is still alive. Like, come on.

Also, I like to believe that Transformers and so on are in their own universe, and not in the Joe one.

Mostly, my Joeverse is much more militaristic and real, with much less fantasy, such as Transofrmers (not that I don't like TF, but I consider it to be more fantasy).

For example, I like to think of other uses or limitations for laser weapons used by Flash and Sci-fi, and I like to arm my joes with more standardized weapons; ever notice how every joe back in the day had a different gun? In the real world, supplying ammunition for upwards of 100 different weapons would be a nightmare, even for the US military! I won't even get into the fact that most Joes never had pouches to hold extra ammo anyways.

Finally, I like to believe that rank and file Cobra soldiers don't carry handguns in thier gear; I can't even begin to explain what's wrong with that one.

Oh, one more thing. In my Joeverse, Mindbender wears a shirt from time to time.

I had this posted over at Joe Dios......

Well my Joeverse pretty much resembles the current Marvel-DDP Joe world with a few exceptions. For starters many of the Joes dead in the comics are still kicking like a chicken in mine. The few notable exceptions are the Battle Force 2000 guys, I only own two of them Blocker and Maverick...they are the only ones who survived in my universe. I also decided to keep LJ "dead" cause I have decided to make Flint basically the Punisher of the Joe world...he has gone off the radar but shows up to kick a little butt. Later it will be learned she didn't die and well it will be interesting how and why and flint will be, well, happy and a little ticked to say the least.

Storm Shadow never was captured by Cobra like the end of the marvel run and brainwashed back into service, instead he was able to rescue billy and escape the commander's clutches. He along with Snake-Eyes, Scarlett the rest of ninja force joined with Budo, Quick-Kick, and Jinx and open a global bounty hunter service. They also open a new Arashikage Ninja school in the High Sierras. All of them are reserve members to G. I Joe.....they only accept certain missions, (even though SS and SE are my favorite Joes I like to give the other guys more attention from time to time)

Any repeat guys I own or re-deco figures have been given new code-names and I wrote the file cards for them including my greenshirts, so no 15 versions of Duke, etc.....some guys do have multiple outfits, but some are just new characters. I have the galoob figures of the A-team, which I modded their heads to fit Joe bodies and they have been pardoned by the President and work as a special urban task force for the Joes.

October Guard is still in full force and certain (Joe) members like Big Ben and Action man lead Action Force.

I was actually working on a WWIII story in my Joe world a few months before the actual story was even announced by DDP in mine Cobra has convinced China, North Korea, and Iran to join him in all out war against the rest of the world.most of the former Soviet union has been over run along with countries surrounding Iran and Eastern Europe as well.

Destro has fully pulled his allegiance from Cobra and has to help defend Scotland from Cobra aggression.

Serpentor is around as well and has been building his own (Coil) Force, he uses the same type of troopers and plans on overthrowing CC from power.

The biggest difference is in mine it is learned that Tomax and Xamot are in fact working for the Red Shadows, and the Crimson Guard are actually Red Shadow troopers (they have split off and are the Red Shadows).....blame hasbro for not releasing Red Shadow figures since I don't have the original action force ones. In response to this CC creates the Shadow Guard (those CG loyal to him) to become his personal troopers. CC replaced Storm Shadow as his personal bodyguard with a quartet of individuals.....Slice, Dice, Slash, and they are led by Blackout.

The soon to be released red ninjas(I will be getting at least 20 of these bad boys) will be their be apart of SS and SE rebuilding of the Arashikage ninja clan....I will be removing the Cobra symbol from their chests.....I already did that with the red ninja 6-packs I got last year. ****Well I only got 5 red ninjas and the have kept the Cobra symbol...the Red Ninjas in the SE vs Red Ninjas don't have the Cobra symbol so they are my Arashikage ninjas.....One of the Cobra Red Ninja's is now Satan...I have to do one like Ninja-Ku now*****

The Black Dragon and the Nightcreepers are private contractors that work exclusively for Cobra.....or whomever pays them the most.

The Dreadnoks have cut all ties with Cobra and have been building up their ranks all across the nation. Zartan has gone completely crazy and has decided to kill Storm Shadow and has put a hit out on him....so I am preparing Nok-ninja action!!!!

That's all I can think of right now......I am going to incorporate my Marvel Showdown figures into this world as well so stay tuned for that!!!

Well since I have posted this over there.....I have incorporated the Marvel Universe figures...I just with they would have made more of them. Basically, I just went with the current Initiative story line and all the good guys are employed by the U.S. government and assigned to the Joes. The only figure really to see any action thus far has been Capt. America and the Punisher.

I was already writing a WWIII story well before DDP started theirs and am still fooling around with it. the time line for the war is just over three years and I have skipped forward a few years to write the Cobra comeback which takes place 7 years after the end of WWII, man I am all over the place with this thing, LOL.

lets see in my joe verse: Falcon is dead he had another confrontation with serpentor (serpentor ran him through with his sword and then placed his head on a spike outside the terrordrome). Sgt. Slaughter has retired and now resides in Arizona working a horse ranch. Snake eyes still doesn't talk because he's to stubborn to get the corrective surgery that has been discovered. Scarlet gave duke the finger and told him that her heart belongs to snake eyes so he needs to back off. Flint and Lady Jaye came out of retirement after the birth of their son (still haven't thought of a name). Roadblock quit to pursue his dream as a chef. Zartan and the dreadknoks all reside in federal prison for terrorist activity against the united states (they won't be released) Cobra Commanders daughter Vypra has switched sides because she says her father is a pompous a** with delusional dreams of world conquest. Baroness and Destro have settled down together and disappeared (its rumored they run a tourist attraction somewhere in europe). Serpentor and Cobra Commander still are fighting for 100 percent control of Cobra between each other. Bombstrike recently joined up with the team and is seeing gung-ho. Hawk died in the battle field on cobra island (doc and lifeline can't do anything for a headshot). Firefly's where abouts are unknown though he does pop up from time to time to blow something up. Storm Shadow has went back to japan and lives a life of solitude to further come to grips with the death of his father and find his truth path in the way of the ninja (he still wants to kill snake eyes)

General Hawk isn't paralyzed nemore, and he leads a team of SE, Duke, Scarlett, Beachhead, Barrel Roll, Lady Jaye (who isn't dead obviously... though that would make for some interesting moments), Varona, Cover Girl, Shipwreck, SnowJob, Roadblock, Stalker, Flint and Torpedo.

Together, they fight Cobra, led by an armored CC, the twins, SS, Firefly, Destro, Baroness, Zartan and everyone else.

Basically, whichever figures I like to display.

Also, SE, Scarlett, Barrel Roll and Beach are side by side with Boba Fett, the Secret Apprentice, Quinlan Vos and Aayla Secura... Granted, thats cause they're my fave figs.

Of course it is all in my mind....

My world adheres to the comic world up to Marvel #155. I don't think I have ever incorporated any of the DDP stuff into my world. I also included real-world aspects. After reading the issue of when the Joes go to Afghanistan, I wondered "what if" bin Laden was there......So now, I have my Joes hunting al-Qaeda.
