Make sure you post here when you list it - I know you have some DCUC stuff I'd buy.
At this point I'm only looking to trade right now. If you have any vintage figures (SW, Joe, Secret Wars, Super Powers, WWF) send me a PM and maybe we can work something out for the DC figures you want.

None that I can get to - they're all in Ohio, boxed up and in storage. Sorry, man.
I was really just responding to this:
When time permits I'll probably put up a huge sell/trade thread when I sit down and weed the stuff out I don't want.
Back from FL for vacation. Man, if we have it bad, they have it worse. I hit tons of stores while in central and southern FL and saw W3 C2, remnants for W3 C1 and of course the earlier waves. No signs of the newer stuff at all.
I was hoping for a 2 pack sighting at the WMs. All I saw were shelf tags for them at 2 of the 8 WMs I checked.

I'm saving my gas until the December Christmas shopping season. We see the same pattern every year so its no surprise. Put out all the goodies at the sametime and watch parents tear each other apart for it. I tell ya these retailers are straight evil....

They sure are. In more ways then you know.
I do really like the 2 for $10 sale at TRU though. I went out yesterday and bought 6 of the Marvel Universe figures. This was a line I said I wasn't gonna collect but when I saw Iron Man, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin and Hulk all on the peg at the same time I caved. I haven't opened them yet because when I do I know I'll be hooked :)
Does Walmart and Target price match on the TRU sale?

Only if you have the newspaper ad with you. Your receipt alone will not suffice at Wal-Mart and Target.
I already have all that I want out of the MU toyline. To me the product looks cheap in comparison other 3.75" figures closely related to it like Wolverine: Origins and the Joe line. I wonder why is the suggested retail price on these figures at $7.99-$8.44 when they don't come with many accessories or superior paint apps. I'll buy them next year for a dirt cheap price in TJMaxx and Marshalls. :)

I agree overall with this line. I had a few figures from wave 1 that I sold because they didn't seem to be all that better then the Marvel Showdown figures. If they weren't $4.99 right now I wouldn't be getting them. If I can take my coupon down to Walmart and Target and hopefully track down the few figures I want (Iron Fist, Daredevil, Moon Knight and Cap) I'll be happy. If I can't find anything by the time the sale ends I'm not gonna pay $8.44 for them. If I wait until they hit TJ Maxx all I'll find are Hand Ninja's and "big head" Punisher.

yeah, the running newspaper ad along with your receipt if you would like to show them will work. The receipt doesn't illustrate how long the sale is good for so the ad verifies the start and end dates. I laughed hard at TRUs three pack for $30 bucks when the 6.5" - 7" figures retail for $10.44 a piece. I mean these figures are just not worth more than as you said the present sale price for $4.99 each. I like a few of 'em but I've seen multiple running errors on figures like two left arms and hands and sometimes they appear broken in the package. I only want the Wolverine Origins Colossus single fig but I doubt they'll have one ahndy by Saturday.

I think I'm so hungry for new Joes that I've reverted back to Marvel. I mean, I've had a big tote of Legends figures sitting untouched in my basement for about a year. I got them out this weekend and started playing with them with my son. We had a blast and the TRU sale couldn't have hit at a more ironic time. I'm not sure how I feel about the MU figures yet (have the improved from wave 1??) I have noticed the paint apps being a bit shoddy and I don't really want to get hooked on another line but I'm a plastic crack addict so what the hell am I supposed to do? I could walk away but it keeps calling my name. "$4.99....we're only $4.99...buy us" :)

I occassionally purchase Marvel Legend figures off of Amazon. I wish we could get the same quality from Hasbro's run on ML but thats not happening...

I stopped at my local Target on the way home today to pick up few things in the cleaning/hygiene aisles. I bothered to walk to the back of the store for the pricing of Seth Rogen's Observe and Report DVD to see if were worth buying, however it was $19.99 and not that great of a sale. When I looked in the Joe aisle, BAM!!!, the same exact stock that has been there for the last 'um three weeks maybe. Tons of figures from Waves 1 - 2 with dust on them at a price tag of $8.69, lmfao. They haven't been moved or even tampered with and each peg was full. To make matters worse, the surface behind the back of the last figure on each peg was lighter than the rest of the wall, lmfao....
I think its hilarious that stores over ordered mass amounts of only 2 waves of Joes in hopes that most of it will sell. People move around and buy from different competing retailers so ordering just enough to almost run empty is better than over ordering and having to clearance a product that most of its consumer base already has purchased.
Hopefully, Target will do better in accounting how much of the G.I. Joe toy line is going to surface over time. This will aid them in making more rational decisions in ordering their weekly shipment to see it sell more efficiently. It would make some things harder to find for some but it would guarantee newer product being available at a steady pace and not just sitting there on the shelves. Bottom line, when there is too much of product left over or retailers can't put it out on the floor, discount retailers like Marshalls, TJMaxx and Ross get that merchandise at a discounted rate. Don't be surprised if you see a Pit for $60 , Steel Crusher for $15 and Accelerator Suit Dukes for $40 next year at one of these stores in beat up boxes, lmao...

09-22-2009, 07:25 PM
I stopped by my Target today too. They have had the same three DCUC on the pegs since May. I think they may have restocked the Joe and Star Wars figures once maybe twice the entire summer. I look at the same stuff over and over each week I bet I could tell you exactly how many Destro's are on the peg (and in which row too).

Actually the reason why I left it is because i already have one. But to answer your question, yes i kind of think it is lame. Only thing that justifies its price is that it comes with 2 figures. Who knows though, maybe you will like it

I highly doubt it. I have a couple of complete Silver Mirages and one Snarler...nothing between the two is likely to be compatible. The Snarler's launcher pegs into the sidecar, whereas the Silver Mirage's sort of slides down...I'd have to check at home, but the SM's gun is likely to be wider than the entire sidecar of the Snarler.
That being said the Snarler is a sweet bike, I found.

finished collecteing the ML BAF Nemesis wave this week. I found all at the Wal-Mart in Towson Thursday afternoon. I think TJMaxx will start getting in more summer movie toys since there is an abundance of overstock at retailers. I've already seen RoC stuff surfacing in TJMaxx like bobbleheads so its only a matter of time before steel crushers, ice sabers, night ravens and PITs hit their shelves for a discounted price.
Still no sight of waves 4-5 in Maryland. I stopped looking for it until the christmas season is well in effect. I only want two figures from those two waves, snake eyes & night adder.

Anybody who's looking to get ROC figures for about $2.50 each here's a hint.
Giant Food stores in the area have X-Men Origins Wolverine figures for $2.50 each with your Giant card. Just buy a bunch of those and then goto your local Kohl's store and do an exchange. NO receipt necessary to do a return or exchange at Kohl's. They are very generous and either give you a merch. credit or even exchange. The X-Men figures are priced the same as ROC figures @Kohl's. I was able to buy a Dragonhawk, blackcoat Rex, Accelerator Duke, and Arctic Snake Eyes (yes, certain Kohl's do have wave 3 figures in stock) all for a lil' over $15.
I know it seems like a hassle, but I think it's well worth it if you have a Giant Food and a Kohl's within 5-10 mins. of where you live.
I was surprised that my local Kohls had a better selection of ROC than the local TRU, Walmart, and Target combined.
EDIT: I forgot to add this http://s.fatwallet.com/static/attachments/18438_925_927ffshoppingpass.pdf
That will give you 15% off any purchase @Kohl's this weekend

I feel a clearance coming on which BAD for us. If retailers take a hit on everything they ordered from this line during July-August it could mean smaller shelf space alotted for Joes in general. If the same stuff keeps being put on shelves I wonder how can we get to the stuff we really want? I've seen a Hasbro vendor at Walmart a few times that told me they put on shelves what they can fit, period. So if the newer stuff is available it won't be placed on the floor because there's no space for it.
I WISH HASBRO WOULD TAKE COSTUMER DEMAND MORE INTO ACCOUNT WHEN SELECTING WHAT TO MANUFACTURE IN MASS QUANTITIES. This alone would improve sales of a line if they just polled us through some website or some multiple choice mail-in included with each Joe related purchase. Retailers are likely to just about carry anything Joe related in their toy aisles because it is now tied to a major motion film and popular 80's cartoon series so why not take a chance and LISTEN to what people want?

Walmart in Lansdowne has as of last night, several black coat doctors, paris pursuit snake eyes, baroness, duke in the accelerator suit, arctic assault snake eyes (Which looks ridiculous in my opinion) and had one of the two packs, the one with tunnel rat
I'm not sure if these were something anyone would be interested in, I haven't been keeping up on ROC beyond the 25th/Resoulte figures that I like, but it was the first time I'd seen any of them around here, I got a para viper, left everything else on the pegs, lots there to choose from though, need to go back and get one of their hawks for a Law custom.
WM Hagerstown has all of C1 W3 finally. No white coat Drs. but plenty of each figure from that wave. They are on the main aisle center display facing the action figure aisle.
They are in ROC trays. Must be what they got instead of the pallet display.
They also finally got the comic packs. They are in the Joe aisle. All of them were there as of this morning.
Happy Hunting!

I went up to Columbia Shopping Center today and saw the same ol' same ol'. Walmart here also has Wave 3 but none of the ML Nemesis BAF line. Their clearance aisle was shortened to a half of an aisle but they didn't have any thing there worth mentioning. Target still hasn't moved any Joe product since the last time I was there a over a month ago. TRU off of Dobbin Rd. had the new display up of James Cameron's Avatar toy line which looks pretty cool but I know it will be available for a discounted price at TJMaxx shortly after the film goes out of theatres....

Not gonna go into a big long story but I'm thinking of getting out of the game. It's time and my hearts just not in it anymore. With that said I want to start liquidating my collection. First up is going to be some of my boxed items. Not looking to rip anybody off but would like to make back what I bought these for (plus shipping). PM me if interested. Pick up is always an option.

ROC Ice Viper (loose)
ROC Flash (loose)
ROC Storm Shadow masked (loose)
ROC Deep Six (loose)
12" Dr Doom (Marvel Legends Icons)

Were moving in December and I took the time Saturday to pack my Joes and get them ready for transport. I pulled everything out wrapped it up nice and snug and packed it away. I started this project around 3:30 PM yesterday and didn't finish up until about 2:30 AM this morning. I lost figure count somewhere around 1,800...I just gave up. I don't need 12 HISS Tanks in 5 different colors..15 Vamps...5 MOBATS..etc. I didn't realize how much stuff I had acquired. I beyond burt out. I'm done.
I going to keep a very small select group of figures but the rest can go. If any of you guys want to PM me with lists Feel free.

I hear ya, the last Joe I bought was during the summer, looking back at it I feel dumb for doing so because I didn't support the film in theaters so buying the figures was a force of habit. At the time I was happy to see something new on the pegs instead of Buzzers and Python Patrol Cobra Troopers....
I am excited about the City Strike Snake Eyes coming out this month but I'm not collecting the rest of the waves coming this year. Simple repaints being sold at an inflated price doesn't appeal to me. I have been buying Marvel Legends toys off of Amazon during this slump at retailers. I don't really care anymore for looking so they can take their times fulling the pegs with more stuff I don't want for the Christmas season. Bring on PoC!!!!

Let's put it this way....for the time being I'm keeping all my circa 1982-86 25th Joes. That was my era and the reason I started collecting the 25th to begin with. Everything else is up for grabs. I don't have the time and I'm far too lazy to make a complete list but you can let me know what you're looking for. I'll probably put big chunks of my collection in the Pennysaver and Craigs List. I want a bulk of it out of here ASAP....I'm tired of looking at it. When you're done you're done..know what I mean?

Nope, it's a dry season until Christmas time in my area of Maryland...
I managed to snab MU Sub-Mariner and Electro from Arundel Mills Walmart yesterday. I also saw that TRU Attack on the Pit 5-pack yesterday at TRU Columbia. I passed since its nothing in there I want. My wants for X-mas are Xbox 360 games and clothes and the city strike Snake Eyes. If I can find that figure beforehand I won't bother looking until next year for new stuff...
Wave 4 is sparse at best. 1 sighting or so in the state and that is it. I have seen no signs of it in Western MD. Unlike movie figs, after waves 1 and 2, this is starting to resemble 25th distribution.
Most of W4 at the TRU in Gaithersburg. Didn't really search the pegs but they seemed to representation of all 4 waves.

Single figures are being sold at $9.14 in some areas here in MD. MU and XMO figures are now $9.29 a pop at Target. Its a genius strategy thats used regularly by retailers; raise the prices on popular toys so much that people can't afford it right before Thanksgiving then drop the prices down marginally by Christmas so people can buy them up like crazy. This way a figure that should be only $6.99 that is originally sold at $7.89 then increased to $8.69-$9.14 can be placed on sale for $6.89 which means a 10 cent lost for each one being sold at a discounted price.
After I find what I want, I'm done until they bring back the re-invention of ARAH/Modern Era toyline. I'm dumbfounded in figuring out why they are trying to do other things with this toyline when it works fine its original form.

$5.99 will most likely be in effect until the later waves start moving in on the shelves. I don't mean to beat a dead horse but this is one of the reasons I've stopped collecting. I know it's not 1984 anymore but damn...I can't afford $9 a pop on figures. Well, according to some members (pro ROC) these things are flying out the stores. I beg to differ.
Target Annapolis and TRU have nothing of note unless your in the market for 75 ROC W1-2 figs, then it's your lucky day. As expected with this "sensational" ROC line and price drop they seem to be flying off the pegs at a rate of about 1 figure every two weeks.
By this rate we should be stocked with W4/5 sometime before the world ends in 2012.

I found the Attack on the Pit set yesterday for $19.99 at Columbia Target. Bought the set and the only redeeming quality of it is the frankensteined Resolute/RoC black Snake Eyes. This figure by itself is worth the money of the entire set. Duke and the other Neo Vipers look horrible but they are the only versions of the characters I have thus far. C'mon PoC this RoC stock needs to vanish from Target's aisles and from my memory. I go to Target on a regular basis and whenever I check the toy aisles the same Wv 1 & 2 figures are stocked full on the shelves. Even at $5.99 the figures aren't being bought that greatly.

Amen to that, however retailers are too hesistant to chalk it up and start placing most of this stuff on clearance shelves. Target and Walmart over ordered movie related toy merchandise. This type of product is finite in sales and only do well while the movie is in theaters. Hopefully, next time they'll order what they can fit on the shelf, watch it sell quickly and then order more of it. Some stores like the Target and TRU of Columbia are good at getting newer waves when they hit retail. I wish other ones would do the same.

The pegs aren't getting any emptier even at $5.99 a figure. I picked up the Target Exclusive Rescue Mission 4-pack ($19.99)last week from Target in Columbia. The Snake Eyes alone is worth the purchase. Marshall's here in Towson Town Shopping Center (Joppa Rd. & Putty Hill Rd.) had the Arise Serpentor Arise DVD pack as well as the Quick Kick/ Major Blood DVD pack for $14.99 each, :) . They also had Transformers Animated Wreck Gar, Lugnutz and Terminator Salvation Warthog with Blair Williams yesterday.
I still haven't seen a price markdown on all other Hasbro 3.75" figures which makes me wonder if stores aren't anticipating ordering that much of each line. XO:Wolverine figures are still $7.99 - $8.44 at Target and Walmart and neither one here in MD has Colossus yet. Also MU figures jumped up from $7.99 to $9.49 and they aren't even well stocked. I wonder whats the point of price markups if the figures aren't even being stocked for purchase? The Human Torch has been the lonely figure at every Target I go to and its price went up. Doesn't make sense...
Has anyone at all seen signs of Waves 4-5 or Target exclusives Wave 2 this month? I fear that they will put everything out at one time and whoever gets it first is the winner; retailers force you to go into work late if you want the figures you're looking for.

I stopped by the TRU express in White Marsh Mall. They had wave 2 of the vehicles . this is the 1st I had seen them.
I just couldn't see paying 16.99 each for them so they are all still there.
TRU express in Columbia Mall had the Wave 2 Alpha vehicles as well today

Getting off of work late tonight, I'm figuring that I should check out Columbia for their stock of Joes. Who knows what I might find there. Also, Superfresh, GIANT, Walgreens, CVS and Kohl's stock RoC and most likely will have Waves 4-5 since its the last place you would figure to have Joes. I'll check them out this weekend....

Don't even bother with Columbia Walmart or Target. I hit both of them today. Nothing new. Unless you're looking for that Rescue Mission set which someone already noted. And there was 1 Dragonhawk at Walmart.

which WalMart? I was just at Perry Hall 2 days abo and they were still $9. Hoefully they price changed... I'll be heading up there today anyway as I need to go to BJ's on Bel Air rd and they are right close together
Speaking of BJ's... they had the small vehicle wave 1 (mole pod, etc) for $12.99 each. Not that huge of savings but not too bad.

They are $7.88 at Walmart. If you do a price scan on it at a Kiosk it should show up as $5.99. If not, then that Walmart hasn't done the price adjustment and yellow tag markdown yet. Don't get too excited though, they're just restocking Waves 1-2 until its gone, and who knows if that will happen before Christmas....

Walmart off 97 has a TON of Joes. Rex, Para Viper, Elite Viper, Crimson Viper...and all the other usual suspects: $6 each. Plenty of exclusive 2 packs as well. They had the exclusive DCUC 5 pack in the clearance aisle which I thought was weird. Still marked full price but it has a clearance tag on it. I did not scan it.
Sears in Annapolis has the toy aisle in place but no action figures yet. Give it time..they'll be there.
I'm curious to see of the old KB in Annaplois Mall is now a TRU express..I'll have to try and check it out.
Annapolis TRU has PLENTY of Snow Serpents last time I checked.

I picked up a Shipwreck a couple days ago at Kohls for $3.42.
Its a nice lil' figure. I tell ya, Kohls is the place to go for any figures from waves 1-3. Their regular prices are a ripoff, but they offer so many discounts that you can stack (20% off action figures, $5 coupon, and an extra 15% off Friends & Family event).
I'm going back there tomorrow to finally get a Helix. Shouldn't cost any more than $0.99 plus tax. (Hint: Kmart has a sale on figures starting tomorrow for $5.99, get Kohls to do a price match and then use a $5 Kohls coupon)
So anybody complaining about the prices, stop complaining and take action. If you think retailers are screwing you over, just think of ways to screw them back. And if you think $0.99 is still too much for an action figure, then get out the game.

I'm on Kohl's mailing list, and I never see these coupons. Do you need to have their credit card?
Incidentally, Ollie's in Columbia has restocked on GI Joe - they've got all of the second wave of TRU exclusives again, if anyone needs them. I believe it's $9.99 for the Crimson Guard and Firefly vs. Greenshirts packs, $7.99 for the IG, Sea and Air SRO packs.

No, you don't need a Kohl's charge card. I can confirm that since i don't have one. The $5 coupon is emailed about 3 business days after you put your email on their list. There is no limit to how many email addresses you can use. I've literally gotten about 15-20 of these coupons.
The friends & family coupon wasn't emailed, I found it on fatwallet.com. It looked like this:
http://f.chtah.com/i/31/1097160769/101909ff_main.jpg
FYI: I did get my Helix today for $0.99, but it took a lil' work this time. Reason being when i went to do the price match there was some confusion since the Kmart ad for $5.99 3 3/4" figures doesn't actually show a picture but was only in fine print. Had to explain to an mgr. that the 3 3/4" figures mentioned in the ad are the single carded figures at the store.
Also picked up Artic Threat SS, Jungle Ripcord, and Desert Viper at Sears Grand for $5.99 each. I mentioned seeing these a few days ago in this thread. I went back today and surprisingly they were all still there for the new sale price. Only disappointing thing was NO City Strike SE. That would've made my day

wow... is that the selection at all Kohls? I have yet to see a Helix in store. I usually hit Perry Hall Wal Mart, Towson Place Target, WalMart, Kmart Bel Air Rd and Joppa rd. They all have your basic peg warmers. Saw some more stuff at Perry Hall WalMart... which does have the price at $6/fig. Sawa few Paris Pursuit Baroness there... quite a few Rex. They also moved a bunch of figs and Snake Eyes role play sets to the DVD section... no doubt for a DVD special promotion? Or at least make product visible when selling the DVD.

We have the same hunting grounds. That's good to know.
Too bad that retailers got the shaft and over ordered waves that they thought would sell well through the rest of the year. Hasbro NEEDS to provide retailers with a product line that features many male and female characters in interesting costumes and various sizes. Overall a variety of things to choose from is a healthy approach for any toyline to offer the retailer for consumer purchase. Of course a discount on Joe RoC toys was expected but not by this magnitude. Toys being placed by the movie aisle is the first sign of desperation by the retailer to move merchandise that isn't moving well. Next RoC figures will be in the toilet paper aisle to promote crap that needs to be flushed down the toilet....
I saw the new Star Wars comic 2-packs and I was helluva impressed by what is being offered to the average SW consumer. Star Wars has a wide array of colorful interesting characters both male and female of various sizes and different accessories to accomodate them. RoC focuses on twelve main characters that all have dark colors and huge missile launchers that the figure can't hold while standing. Didn't Hasbro think this would turn parents off from buying because of the oversized huge gun that promotes violence to kids? Or how about the nuisense of accidentally vacuuming up RoC small hand guns and knives that can easily be lost or swallowed by young kids. Parents might not go as crazy as expected in buying RoC this Christmas as retailers forsee.

Kohl's came thru once again for me this morning. I purchased a Gunship this morning for $7.99 plus tax. Arguably that's probably all that its really worth. Nevertheless a good deal. I simply took the Kmart circular advertising Alpha class vehicles for $12.99 and had them price match for the Bravo class Gunship. After using a $5 coupon, it came to $7.99. May not have been the most ethical thing to do, but neither is Kohl's practice of charging $34.99 for a Gunship and marking it down to $27.99 on sale, when the MSRP on it is actually $24.99. I've attached a scan of the receipt as proof, since some of you may be speculating whether this really works or not. Personal information on the receipt has been whited out for obvious reasons. I'm not trying to brag or boast by making these posts, i'm simply trying to help other Tankers out, so that you can also benefit by taking advantage of these deals. There is no excuse to make about prices being too high. At least not anymore

In the wise words of Yoda:
Use this technique for City Strike Snake Eyes I will...uhmm....
all figures are currently 20 % off at kohls which is still absurd. Joe figures are $8.79 and I guess if you have an add they will price match it but i haven't received a Target, Walmart or TRU circular in the paper stating a Joe sale in weeks. i was mad someone swiped up the Anakin Skywalker figure I was looking for over the weekend. I was heated to see today that that was the only SW figure that was purchased at that location.
Might chalk it up and just wait until December to get CC SE at retail for the fixed price instead of paying almost $10 for one at a retailer with a much smaller toy aisle.

I can't speak for others, but I definitely appreciate the posts. Nothing bragadocious about them. A deal is a deal is a deal. that's why when they were on sale 2 for $10 at TRU people posted about it here.
I do think your last sentence is a bit harsh, though. People can complain about whatever they want. In a way, your posting about how to save money is complaining about the Kohls regular price. Hell, Kohls is known as having a high mark-up... higher than MSRP. Not everyone will get the deals on time, either. I know I haven't bought a single RoC figure at full price... meaning I've had to wait for sales or discounts.
but, again, thanks for posting how to get deals... at Kohls, at least.
I fully expect to see deals in the ads next week as the DVD's release on Tuesday.

Rockville TRU on Old Georgetown Rd. and Rt. 355 Wisconsin Ave. is expected to get in Hasbro shipments today, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. If anything, they'll have waves 4-5 in stock by Sunday, but it may not be on the pegs if the manager doesn't mention it...
I still haven't seen any sight of these two highly anticipated waves eventhough the pegs are slightly moving again. $5.99 is a deal for Joes so I don't know if the holiday season is going to move them off the shelves faster at this discounted price. Parents literally walk pass RoC to look at Transformers, Star Wars and Bakugan. Occassionally Marvel Universe gets a quick stare but at the high prices for each figure ($8.44 -$9.29) these figures will only sell if collectors are interested in what they see.

The Joes were in a cart near the back far left corner of the store when you come inside from 193/University Blvd. They were just sitting in a cart as if they were meant to be put in the toy aisle later on. Here's exactly what they had @ $3.99 a figure:
Cobra Commander with Mass device unit
Cobra Ninja Blue
Cobra Diver Red with Mass device unit
Python Patrol Trooper x 2
Ripper (gay pride ed.)
All were in Canadian/International Carding that came out last year.
While I was looking through the cart to see if they had anything else from Waves 11-13 I saw a long pink tail curling in the corner behind a wall board in the back of the aisle. This tail was friggggggin' huge and the damn beast made a knawing sound. I backed the f' up put down what I had in my hands and got out the damn store with the quickness!!

That's hilarious and disturbing at the same time.
A year or so ago I was at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. I was waiting out on the street with the rest of the geeks after a show in hopes of meeting whatever band was playing. After drinking beer all night I had to piss like every ten minutes. Across the street was a loading dock with some dumpsters on the side. I went to relieve myself in the darkness and when I stepped behind the dumpster a cat jumped from between my legs up onto the loading dock. When my eyes adjusted I realized that "cat" was a rat. I had no idea those suckers could jump. I think instead of pissing I dropped a little shit in my pants and then high tailed it out of there.
Did I mention I hate rats??? I've been traumatized ever since :)

Hopefully the recent markdowns will allow more room for newer waves but it doesn't seem that it working so great cause everywhere seems to be well stocked with the initial three waves three months after the film hit theaters. Hopefully we'll see a decent supply of Waves 4-5 before next year.

I was able to get ROC on Blu Ray for 19.99 and resolute for 13$ this morning @ Walmart. I know Best Buy had them for 24.99 and 14.99

Target Wheaton has jack for joes but there's a few newer MU figures including Namor x2, Grey Hulk x2, Guardian, Electro, Hob Gob, and some older ones like Thing, etc... If your looking for these figs they have em.

Do you know about any Black Friday specials or if the 2 for $10 sale will reemerge in TRU stores?

Stopped by Super WM in Severn tonight and found this guy in a box on one of the pallets.
http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL1059/4037499/20325044/377270199.jpg
All the Joes there were $5. The wave 5 box that the CS SE was in also had Arctic Threat SS, Charbroil, Night Adder, and Red Fang Ninja. No other figures in there worth mentioning. Unfortunately, they did not have the Exclusive Battle Stations. So check the Super WM in your area tomorrow and you might find some items you want for a good price
Good Find Rich! Mine had nothing new this morning. Oh well, wait and see.

Good find my friend, now you can save yourself some gas money!!!
A CS SE for $5.00 is the best deal available. Did you only snag up one of those bad boys?

Yea only one, no need for me to buy multiples. But i only saw one there as well. Of course that doesn't mean it was the only one
because there were so many unstocked boxes of toys that another wave 5 box could possibly have been hidden in the pile..
Seriously though after opening this figure up I have to say this is very OVERRATED. My advice to people who don't have it yet is don't go out of your way looking for this guy. If you happen to stumble upon it then buy it, but don't pay anything over $5-$6. Its not a bad figure, but really not all that its hyped up to be. Bunch of weapons with no holster or sheath. Same corny backpack that came with Arctic SE

I got a feel for this figure after I bought the Target Exclusive Attack of the Pit 4 -pack with the all black SE. Nice figure overall but I still need a resolute version to help out my Duke against the 15 Troopers I acumulated. I will check out my local Walmart here in Laurel afterwork today...

Found another CS SE about an hour ago @ the Super WM in Arbutus. Also saw Desert Viper, Jungle Ripcord, and Arctic Threat SS. No wave 4 figures though. The only one i bought is the CS SE, so the other 3 are probably still sitting on the pegs as I type. And the only reason I bought the CS SE is to trade for a CS Duke. For the life of me I cannot find the Duke from that wave. I've hit 3 different spots with wave 5 figures and none of them had Duke. So anyone who finds CS Duke and needs a CS SE let me know cuz i'd like to trade.
Like i said yesterday, check your Super Walmarts in the area, they are stocking wave 5. And yes they are only $5
Man Rich you are one lucky hunter here in MD! Other than my find in Oakland last week, I have seen nothing past W3 anywhere in central MD.
I did find the TRU 5 packs in Frederick TRU last night. Ok. But nothing to rush out and get.
I actually find the detail on the new 3 packs to be better.

Battle Stations at 2 WMs I checked this morning. Hagerstown and Frederick (26). The one in Frederick had multiples of everything.
They are on a back endcap right next to the action figure aisle.
I got the 2 I wanted.
Still no signs of W4 or 5. :(

Desperate times huh?
$5.30 from WM is not bad. But I have to admit whoever is repacking figs in Elliccott City, his work is really good. I had to do a double take on an Eel and even Duke.

Owings Mills TRU has the ROC Troop Builder 5-packs. Looked like there was about 10 of them total. I grabbed one of the Joe packs for $9.99 with the 50% off coupon. The coupon is only supposed to apply to the 25th Troop Builders but if you take one of the ROC ones up to the register with the coupon the manager will do a manual override. The coupon is on TRU's website and the offer ends today

I got a $5 coupon off of any purchase over $25 on G.I. Joe and Transformers from Target the other day. I also have a $10 gift card from TRU when I bought Tekken 6. Still haven't looked around since what I want just started to saturate my area and most likely won't be found that easily until the end of the month...

For the ones that collect DCUC:
Has your TRU significantly reduced space for this line in your area?
Mine went from 2 pegs, to having not product on the pegs, to taking the space with another toyline.
This suck because Walmarts and Targets seem to be stuck on W6/7. And here we are approaching W11 already.

My TRU (Annapolis) had the DCUC in two aisles at one point. I went everyday for about three weeks straight searching for wave 8 and 9. I finally found them (with the exception of Gentleman Ghost...who I still need) displayed on the bottom shelf of the Batman/Spider-Man/X-Men section. Not on pegs but two rows on the bottom shelf. TRU also has two pegs devoted to DCUC in the "collectible figures" section where they keep the movie monster and spawn type figures. They have had the same two Captain Cold figures keeping those pegs warm since the beginning of summer. I've noticed with this line you need to hit the store everyday or have an inside connection looking out for you. Otherwise you'll miss them.

Walmart has four restocking periods in the Maryland area where they redesign the toy aisle to adjust more space for certain toylines and clearance others that are no longer selling. Target doesn't do this very often at all. We still don't have wave 2 exlusives, any sight of waves 4-5 and the resolute dvd is in limited stock.
TRU just may or may not have something new and that is dependent on how much actually sells at their higher prices. I haven't seen anything new at a TRU since September. Overall there's no point in looking periodically anymore. I know that if people start seeing a new toy in other parts of the U.S. we'll have to wait two months afterwards to see it well stocked.
