I picked up the Snake eyes last week at target. I Decided taht I wanted storm Shadow also so I went back to get him. HE was gone.

So far the walmart superstore in cockeysville has the most single carded figs, but most of them vipers (waaaaay too many vipers) jet pack dukes and wild bills. Its tough in this state, it seems. I know its tough all over to find these joes but, I have to say, i think I had to buy half of my collection online.

I do have two snow serpents and the rare black headed variant of Destro from the 2 pack, all opened, but very well taken care of and in good condition if anyone gets is interested at all. not a good day for hunting....

i walk out to the our suv inorder to make target opening time this morning and only get as far as moving the truck about 15 feet. opened the door to find glass all over the place and the passenger side window busted out and the truck a mess. needless to say the rest of the day was spent making phone calls, cleaning glass out of the car , etc. my insurance deductable all but kills my joe hunting for awhile, talk about bad timing... the upside is, the car seat wasn't stolen this time. those suckers are expensive.

Just to let you all know, I used to work at a wal mart doing overnight stocking, and usually ( like 95% of the time) those toys are put out wednesday night, so thursday morning is the time to check most wal marts in the state. Havent checked recently, but i'm just waiting for the new stuff. I want a dusty!

I glimpsed the new TRU 5-packs in the TRU in Newark, DE today...I post it here because there's nobody else over in the DE sightings but me, apparently, and because that TRU is about a mile from the border and right off 95. Personally I have enough CGs and need no greenshirts, but if anyone else wants 'em and feels like taking a quick trip up 95, they are waiting.

I picked up a flash(they had 3) and a Greenshirt 5pack.
They also had a snow serpent left.
I also stopped by the Target there. They had the spot for the Rattler. Someone checked for me. The Locator said 0 in the Baltimore area.

i thought i was seeing things... walked into germantown walmart and there on a pallet was a wave 9 revision case, water logged, but there none the less. without hesitation i opened it and picked out the bat and snow serpent. this was the first time i have ever seen a bat at retail in maryland.
as much as i wanted them, i gave them to my son. he loves these two guys.
i also picked up some of the rerelease on modern card figures.
there was also a wave 5 comic pack case, water logged as well. i bought two of the new ones from the case since i gave mine to my son earlier.
the bottom shelf was full with wave 1 vehicles and above that, a shelf full of dvd sets.

germantown target had nothing worth mentioning.

gaithersburg tru also had nothign worth mentioning.

Hagerstown TRU now has a grand display for the Joe section. Lots of space for the singles and comic packs. None of the new 5 packs though. Some W9 (incl 1 Snow Serp). Hadn't been in there in weeks.

he was shocked you could open up the wheels! he litterally was all giggley playing with the missles, pretending to land and take off with the wheels going up and down. once he knows the rattler wings rotate, wheels go down, etc. i think his conquest will fall to 2nd place. of, not to forget the turret that turns and elevates... he saw that one right away.

I picked up a rattler and conquest at the Laurel Target. A nice old lady that works there checked stock in the local targets for the two planes and came up with the following (This was at about 0930 today):

tuesday morning showed some of the target exclusives in stock. i was already at work so my wife called and went to rockville target to pick up a rattler for me. she was approached by two people while she had the rattler in her cart in a manner she described as aggressive asking her where she got it and if she really needed it, etc. she was actually un-nerved by the situation and called me. i'm sure there is another side to the story but the behavior made my wife very uncomfortable and i would hope that my fellow md tank members would not do this.

i'm sure it was just intimidation factor. if it was someone here, i understand the unwillingness to fess up but please consider how you approach people in the future. if it happened to me i would have shrugged it off but to others it can become uncomfortable quickly as it was for my wife.

now, back to joe sightings... i picked up 4 more of the re-issue figures on comic/tv cards at germantown walmart last night. this case had the wave 5 revision cards. i'd sure like to know exactly which ones are done this way other than random mentions and pictures from tni. does anyone know if there is a list?

wave 1 vehicles are clogging up shelves in most stores now. i'm waiting for clearance prices before i buy anymore of wave 1 (customs fodder), i've got plenty of them already.

the 2 existing dvd sets are also clogging the shelves and i'll wait for clearance before getting those as well. i gave mine to my son and bought loose figures for one of them.

the target website is no longer vary accurate for the maryland area it seems. there are already a couple stores that say available and store checks do not match what they have shown in inventory. i can only assume some are hidden, still on hold at the counter or employee has them stashed. this sucks because it only adds additional layers of frustration to the hunt for these.

The only one you will find with those rev cases for the moment is the CG. I'm still awaiting for the Flint rev case to make its appearance.

walmart off 97 had a ton of figures. major bludd but not with the 25th logo, tiger force flint, cartoon roadblock, all of wave 9 except for bats and snow serpents.

I hit a couple of stores today and nothing exciting. I did find what I would call "half ass variant".

Was this close to actually buying it but I think I will wait for the revision case that has the original Flint.

WM in Hagerstown had 2 cases of the Revision Wave with CG and IG Destro. The pegs were full of W8 revision cases and a smattering of the shelf warmers (now) from W9. I am hoping that they clear them out to make room for W10.

It broke my heart to see that many joes and realize I neither wanted nor needed any of them.

There was a case of vehicles (that has been shelf warming at $15.76 a piece)

There is a ton of DVD 1 & 2 packs there as well.

i'm pretty sure the vehicles were different. when you scan them, they all tell you what they are and they all don't have the same title when scanned. i'll double check next time i'm at target but i don't recall that being so. the previous exclusives as well as the current ones have seperate dcpi numbers....

another disturbing trend with the increase in joe production, it's timed with the price increase just about everwhere. this is another point that i htink will only hurt the line as quanitity is finally meeting demand just as price hikes are restricting purchasing. not a good combination... i bought all my crimson guards at walmart just about for $4.88 and did not think twice about it. now, i see them all over but i am leaving them behind because at $7 or more, it's not worth it to me to continue buying more when i can simply be patient and buy a couple cg battle packs.

also afraid that with the glut of wave 1 vehicles, the new wave will sit in the back waiting for shelf space to clear up. the same could be said for the dvd sets but those are tiny in comparison with regard to shelf space.

I visited a couple of Targets today and one caught my eye.

The singles are down to 7.56 or 7.54 but is all figs that we pretty much have already.

The funny thing is that the comic packs are up to 10.99.

I love it how they clean the old ones out with the offer from last week then they release the wave 5 packs this week with the new price increase. So dumb, those are going to sit there for the next six months.

If this keeps up I will be bowing out soon.

Target Hagerstown dropped price on singles as of last night $6.84.
They had nothing, but the price drop was nice.

Also said they had the jets online, but not on the shelves.

thankfully, i don't plan to army build any wave 10 figures. my case from bbts is on int's way already and all i want is a figure or two for my displays and my son to play with. good luck to those looking for the wraith variant. i never found the destro variant so i have no expectations to find the wraith variant.

Yeah I saw the battle packs at toysrus Rockville and passed... Still praying to find a BAT one of these days. I hope Hasbro makes a bunch of them like the Crimson Guard or the Vipers because BATS are such army building figures it would be stupid of Hasbro to miss out on them.

I must admit I am shocked at how long regular sightings of W10 is taking. Couple that with the H.E.B.'s in TX regularly stocking them and I am thoroughly confused.

Makes you think that they are in warehouses for the bigger stores, but they are overstuffed with revision waves or something.

I mean why would H.E.B. if they just started ordering these things in the last month or 2, not get Rev Waves like the rest of us instead of the coveted W10?

I'm thinking Hbro is catering (at least for this wave) to online retailers. I can understand not finding W10 since there have not been massive sighting in other states.

What I don't understand is the lack of effort some TRU show when it comes to joes. Some order a lot of singles but disregard everything else. Others forget about singles and actually get the new five packs and SROs.

I just cannot believe that we still have not seen a damn Firebat or the new SRO (I did but it was my friends). Yet the vehicles in W2 and 3 have made their way to NY and Massachusets.

Wave 10 has been sighted at retail in Maryland! I picked up a Para-Viper, Bazooka trooper and a BAT (first time spotting one of those at retail too) in Giant, of all places. I left a Tiger Force Duke on the peg because my wife was already upset about buying the army builders. So they're out there, folks - get hunting!

walmart- only difference from the rest being i did see one revision snow job but the card was bent up and these are strictly for my moc collection so i left it there. there was also a 25th silver carded firefly which was odd. must have been stashed and found during the store move. so it looks like i missed out on the rest of this revision wave.

you'll be happy to know i got almost everthing from wave 10 i need already from bbts/hts(if it ships) so i won't be buying much from this wave, only a few bazooka troopers maybe and maybe one or two extra paratroopers but i'm not really liking those.

target exclusives- no rattlers anywhere, just one to three conquests at each store.

I was lucky enough to get Black Destro and 3 of the 4 new vehicles.
The only one was missing was the Sharc.
The pegs were filled with Joes but not any of wave 10 or it would have been real expensive.

Man I am so confused! Everywhere except big retail stores are getting W10. Yet I walk into Target, TRU and some WMs and they have empty pegs or revision waves.

One thought I have had is that the toy departments of these bigger stores are letting the Joe sections suffer to allocate toy funds for the popular kiddie lines for Christmas.

Not really meant to be a gripe, just looking for some discussion or other opinions/thoughts on the subject.

i had an rc race in columbia md today so i hit up the target, tru and walmart and found the revision wave snow job and nothing else. i'd say that area is almost worse off than germatown. nothing really new anywhere there or it's already been picked clean by you guys up there.

fyi, every target i've been to has vehicles in the storeroom, dcpi: 087060441 (this is the listed dcpi for the latest wave). i'm not sure if they are simply overstock of wave 1 or actual wave 2 not being put out. i never asked anyone to look.

IF you can actually find a giant that sells joes, they are reported ot be $5.99. the reports are fairly consistent in that these non-retail stores are getting wave 10 where as walmart, target, tru are sitting on revision cases.

rockville tru- 1 set of the crimson guard batle pack, no wave 2/3 vehicles
gaithersburg tru- 1 new sro set (with wild bill), no wave 2/3 vehicles
gaithersburg target- found and bought the only firebat and fang set, 1 conquest and nothing else new or worth getting.

Target in Columbia had a ton of Vipers and comic packs of all waves (save 6), and three Conquests. TRU in Columbia had a bunch of wave 1 vehicles, comic packs, night watch sets and two lonely single-carded figs (Python Patrol officer & Cobra Commander). First time I've been out hunting in a while...

I stopped by Route 97 Walmart this morning. I picked up #'s 3 & 4 of the DVD battles. There was 1 left of the Serpentor pack.
THere was also a Firebat and AWE left. I also seen what Mech-viper was talking about. Some dickhead took leatherneck and the Desert AWE out and put in the Target AWE.
There was also some S Serpents and tons of other figures.
I was looking for the Revision Flint...but he wasn't there.

Got to Kohls this morning, and finally got to see wave 10!! But then I saw that they were charging $9.99 for a single figure WTF. Even with the sale that is running, they are still 7.99. Regardless I found myself buying mutt and croc. The shelves are full of wave 10, though and nothing else (no older waves) except para troopers. Oddly non of them, but 3 bats were still there. they also still had one set of the new comic packs at $12.99 or 10 something with the sale. hopefully target will get them while the 4.99 is still in effect.

All you have to do is buy a figure at Target for 4.99 or if you already did and have a Target receit showing that you paid 4.99. You can have Kohls price match the figures you want. I bought a bunch of para vipers and bazooka troopers last week at 8.49 each plus tax at Kohls. I took my receits back with a receit from another store where I only paid 4.49 a figure. They price matched it and took 65 dollars off of my kohls card. I was very happy because thats a huge savings.

While visiting a friend this weekend in MD I picked up the U.B.P. on Saturday the 15th it was at the Whitemarsh Target. I had to have them get it from the backroom, but they were cool about it. The scanner still showed some in-stock, so for anyone in that area they should still have some left.
