This Thor is massive in comparison to all of my other ML figures. He's bigger than Hulk ( Face Off vs. Leader 2-pack), Holocaust, Onslaught, and any other Thor made in Legends scale. He is, arguably the same size as Marvel Select Thor which is 7" upwards in height.

Klaw is a lame character so his figure couldn't be much better. A dude with a purple and black leotard and dish receiver as a right hand looks awful in any way you decide to pull it off.

Found ML Thor, Extremis Iron Man (gold and red), Captain America and Klaw at Target Columbia this evening for $14.99 each. Finally completed the set and Terrax is an awesome fig.

Still no luck at ROSS for new Joe stock and I've been burning gas driving around MD looking for a set of the PoC Wave 3 Alphas. I've been to locations in Rockville, Laurel, Columbia and Colesville this week and I've seen nada. I'd be interested to see if anyone finds them and can let me know.

Its the first time I've her in retail; again I've been passing on Walmart since no location in Maryland cares to restock on Joes or Marvel Universe. As for Target, its a trickle affect with some stores getting on board with the latest stock of the season while others are resistant to make new orders. The Target near me (Beltsville) hasn't ordered anything new besides Star Wars since late November. I doubt they'll have anything new tomorrow morning or for the week in least.

As for ML 2012 Wave 2, TRU.com has Fantomex and Dark Wolverine for order so I think depending on the store, they might already be in retail in our area.

Hey SS! I've seen this before. Once, when the ROTJ Vintage SW wave hit, some guy in Towson purposefully marked down the figures, I'm guessing he had planned to buy them on his lunch break.
My guess is employee fraud.
Their was a new SKU printed over the regular UPC tag, and a markdown on the front. It's really beat.
But good for you, man. 2 Zombies for $3? Beats the Renegades Firefly pegwarmer (this year's Arctic Destro) for $8!

Not really. Only variants cases are showing up at TRUs. Target did get the regular ones from W1 in the very beginning like early last month. Now they are too getting the variant cases.

Since having amazon prime and online ordering with TRU.com, I've saved major gas mileage on my car. I completed the first wave last month and now I have both Cap and Drax from the second wave. I also caught up on my fill of 30th Anniversary Waves 3 & 4 from tru.com.

Retailers will start stocking the goods we're looking for closer to April/May. Until then its not worth the hunt....

Went to Target in Columbia yesterday and saw a Marvel Legends 2012 Wave 1 Extremis Iron Man repack! It was horrible since it had an Iron Man II 6" inch figure in the bubble with a leg from another BAF I can't seem to remember. Plus the scotch tape repackaging was sloppy as all hell. I saw the place where four pegs are designated for figures had that company disclaimer about associates are not allowed to look for figures in the back. Sucks because no where feels compelled to keep any toyline besides Star Wars regularly stocked.

Still looking for Avengers Hawkeye and Wave 2 Marvel Legends Armin Zola. I've given up ever finding PoC Wave 3 Alpha Vehicles since I think only two of you on here have seen mere remnants of the wave at ROSS stores throughout last month. I see how the new Spiderman figures look with horrendous T-Crotch articulation as well as the majority of the limited articulation for the Avengers line and I know for sure that I will save plenty money this summer and further out if this is a sign of things to come.

I am sure things will become easier to find in the Summer but with gas prices being $4 a gallon here in Silver Spring there's not much to gain to look around in each store when I can pay for most of what I need online. I come out spending about the same.

Articulation is crap but I like the styling of both figs. They also had 1 complete set of wave 1 Marvel Legends if anyone is interested. Not much else to report.

Gas is $4 a damn gallon, drive around Maryland enough in a week and you'll spend over $10 and only have a portion of the stuff you're looking for. Also, stores like Columbia Target, TRU and Walmart gets swamped by follow collectors and associates that keep a stash of what they want in the back until they want to pay for it. This area is too hot for collectors so I won't look here any further until the summer hits and stores actually give a crap about stocking regularly.

This is going to be an underwhelming summer for toys:

1. Avengers Movie toyline looks like re-hashed crap with less articulation at a much higher price than a couple of months ago.

2. Dark Night Rises figures look like happy meal toys.

3. New Marvel Universe figures might not get stocked everywhere because of Avengers being the dominate Marvel license for this season.

4. Amazing Spider-man figures have T-crotch articulation and have the same five characters made over again and again as the last Spidey toy brand.

5. Transformers Prime is more goofy ass looking incarnations of the same core characters as the animated series that was out four years ago. Its a filler line between this and another horrible movie toyline. If its not Classics/War for Cybertron/Reveal the Shield, it won't get my support.

6. G.I. Joe: Retaliation figures and vehicles are looking more hit or miss at an inflated price which isn't good. I'm fine with the argument that "this line isn't aimed towards collectors!", but who the hell has the responsibility to keep the brand in stores if it doesn't sell as expected?

I've posted this earlier elsewhere, but seriously this year is a letdown for collecting in general. The shenanigans with stock in places, repackers and stores generally not caring if any thing other than Star Wars has adequate space in the toy aisle kind of makes looking too much of a chore.

The front royal, VA target has 3 pyslocke and 4 storms and some others which I can't remember the names but if I was told them I would know what I saw.

As for gi joes basically nothing unless you need a scarlett, ripcord, or ren trooper.

Gas is $4 a damn gallon, drive around Maryland enough in a week and you'll spend over $10 and only have a portion of the stuff you're looking for. Also, stores like Columbia Target, TRU and Walmart gets swamped by follow collectors and associates that keep a stash of what they want in the back until they want to pay for it. This area is too hot for collectors so I won't look here any further until the summer hits and stores actually give a crap about stocking regularly.

You might be disappointed, the red ninja comes with lest than half of the cool accessories Renegades SS comes with, no figure stand, a giant arm mounted spring loaded missile and to my knowledge until further developments, a ridiculous $9.99 price tag! I think you'd feel much better shelving out $30 for this figure online since it most likely will not be easily found in stores between now and late next month.

The Renegades headsculpt is custom fodder and generally speaking, Renegades figures just don't look as good as 30th Anniversary with the side-by-side comparison shots. With the black stash and classic headsculpt, the figure instantly morphs into a badass version of SS we've never received since the re-emergence of Joes four years ago.

You're right! I completely forgot how about Law & Order and Airtight, the sculpting on both of these look more realistic than the other Renegades figures. They're probably the best offerings we've received this year. Good call....

problem im having is im trying to stick to one hobby but ive delved into comics again and its become quite the money maker for me i found a blackest night 1 dealer incentive comic for 5 bucks market has it at 99.00 ungraded mine is being sent out to not only be graded but to be signed by ivan reis the artist next month at one of the comic cons so a 5 dollar comic plus 65.00 to grade and get it signed turns into a 400 dollar comic i still love action figures and recently started getting into the mu line so now i gotta pick and choose what i buy i think the void between joe lines is whats causing me to buy other toys

Blackman: Spring Loaded Missile Launchers: what can I say... it's like yelling into wind or slapping a brick wall on that one, it just doesn't make any sense why they keep doing it.
I'm betting someone has some serious gambling debt at Hasbro, and has some outstanding sharkie loan to a mob boss that owns a spring loaded missile toy factory, it's the only sound explanation.
They just look, play, and are terrible.
That new packaging is just awful too.
Some of the new figures in traditional sculpting will be exceptional though, looking forward to them, but the vehicles are an absolute SKIP for me.

MD stores seem bone dry unless you need another Renegades CC or Firefly. I have been spot checking and between Frederick and Hagerstown, it seems fruitless to waste the gas looking.

Walmart and their stupid empty pegs! TRU and their 6 Ren CCs. Targets I have been avoiding all together. Even Ross has let me down in the latest wave of "I will get it at Ross prices" Joe stuff.

Just venting and wanting to see if anyone else is having any luck and/or to confirm that the lack of sightings postings is actually due to no one finding anything.

Restocked Toys R Us near my house off of Rossville, MD. Saw someone walk by me in the store with two Zombie Vipers and a third figure.

Went to Toys R Us in Towson, restocked as well and got two Zombie Vipers and a Cobra Trooper as well as the Supergirl/She-Ra 2-pack.

Found the Mr. Snister vs. Gambit MU Comic Pack at Target last night in Columbia. Its okay, like a 3 out of 5, but Hasbro really should step up the sculpting on Marvel Universe because its lacking behind Star Wars and Joes which are in the same scale plus they are considered collectibles in retail.

Also, bought the Bravo team Humvee playset from Unimax from Target in Ellicott City. Awesome set, fits 5 Joes with enough room to store webgear, backpacks and guns in the back. It was $39 which is worth every penny.

Yeah, I was really disappointed in this set. I figured Sinister was going to be a repainted Colossus, but Gambit was really disappointing. His wrists have no articulation so he's limited in how he holds his staff (forget about even trying to get him to hold his staff with both hands). I'm not sure if this is the same mold from the XMO: Wolverine version (never opened mine), but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

I figure in the end, I'll probably take Sinister and make him into the AoA version.

I would to know if Hasbro is having issues fulfilling orders to retailers due to the recent job cuts earlier this year. I have never seen so many empty pegs in retail across the country during this season where stores should be fully stocked with summer blockbuster toys. Since late November till now, stores haven't stocked anything in mass quantities for action figures except the latest three waves of Star Wars figures and vehicles and that was over two months ago.

Yeah Blackman, I am shocked the drought of Action Figs went into April like this. Usually by mid-March the pegs are full. At least for Joes it looks like production numbers were way down on the later waves of 30th. No one has them in stock online as further evidence. I tried the drug store hunt briefly, but there are just too many of them and the slim chance of finding the ones you want is not worth the effort to me.

good luck with those. there are not a lot of dollar general stores in our area. even family dollar stores are more toward PG county. i'm hoping to get squads of the troopers but that's going to be a struggle in our area with so many of us and so few stores.

same goes for the skystriker, when it does go on clearance. from past experiences, anything gi joe disappears within 24 hours most of the time. i'm hoping to do a set of the transformers seekers customs but it's not cost effective till they go on clearance.

That's how all the Target stores in this area look. I am in PG County and I can't find Joes anywhere on pegs. I've been to at least 3-4 Dollar General stores and still haven't found any of the dollar store Joes either. I wanted to army build the black troopers but can't find any.

I wouldn't be sure at the downtown Silver Spring location. Was there about two weeks ago and it looked like they had closed down.
No more toys on the windows and there were men working on the front of the store. I did not have a chance to go inside or get a better look but do let me know if they still exist.
Prices are laughable but not terrible like the Rockville TRU.

Speaking of that POS location. They finally opened doors last weekend and seems like nobody got the memo. Stopped today and they had a good amount of W4 cases. Got a couple ZVs and Techno Vs but there were some still left. Plenty others from that wave too but then with those prices...yikes!

I'm not sure what this means? Is it a new TRU location or another store all together in the same shopping center off of Old Georgetown Rd.?

blackman2005 it just moved. Old one didn't even "close" or have a "closing" all the stuff just got moved in the course of 2 weeks or so.. I think it happened the end of April.

Good thing they price match with whatever listing is on their website since they will admit that they are markup store?!? They know their prices are too inflated but will keep them that way because of the rich SoBs that don't mind spending money in the area.

If anyone goes there soon, can you check and see if they got a good quantity of ML 2012 Wave 2. I am looking for the variants ....

I did not see anything regarding the ML line. Like any other store they were lacking even before they moved to the new location. I wouldn't put too much faith in them getting anythiing till you start hearing about findings in other places. Whoever planned that line should be slapped for piss poor planning.

Sounds like any other Hasbro line that isn't the first wave that is tied to a movie. What are the ML figures to be on the look out for guys I am going hunting today.

Went to the Gaithersburg WM. and nothing. Hit 2 Targets nada a Toysrus and nada again. It was mostly left overs of wave 1 from Mavel Legends. Saw a couple of Sound Waves but no Vehilicon from PRIME (err what-ever). Picked up some Human Alliance basic figures from TF3 DOTM. Pretty awesome stuff in serious need of a paint job or two but really cool toys and for 6 bucks at TJ MAX I was set.

The Rockville TRU had wave 4 Zombies and Law were amongst the group but I passed due to the 10.99 price tag is just revolting. I know I can get them to price match the internet but the only cashier was handicapped and I wasn't interested in sharing my Zombie discount appreciation with her.
