Hey guys- 1 Darkhawk, Falcon, and 2 Ultrons at TRU Target.. No new Joes anywhere in the area, no more sightings of the new IM2's at Ross either..

Just ordered both Resolute Sets off of BBTS for $49.00 on clearance, which may be the cheapest they'll ever be before selling out. Was keeping my fingers crossed for ROSS to get them but who knows if it will happen or not.

Today I found all of the Renegades Wave at Walmart (left behind three IGs, Firefly and a Cobra Commander) as well as the Marvel Legends sized Loki from the Thor movie line for $14.88. The figure is huge and towers over Crimson Dynamo of the same scale which doesn't make much sense. I picked up two Cobra Troopers and two Iron Grenadiers from Target too. I also picked up some Avatar figures from Tuesday Morning and a Iron Grenadier from TRU. *Hint* the Walmart, Target and TRU are in the same shopping center with a Michaels, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Red Robin, Subway, Sports Authority, Einstein Bros Bagels and DSW Shoes. Saw an entire endcap of new MU, including 6 Ms. Marvel variants at TRU / Times Square this morning.

Also, spotted the new Yellow Cap'n A Hydra soldier; can anyone fill me in on the new HYDRA soldier single-pack from the Captain America line? Is it a running change, variant, wha? Looks identical to the regular green Hydra agent, but with yellow webgear & highlights.
Picked one up, but they had at least 6-7 more.

Gabriel Brothers also has IM2 Comic Wave 4. Saw a Whiplash for $4.99 last Sunday.

I went NYC this weekend and ventured over to Midtown Comics off of Broadway. They had all of MU Wave 16 which looks like straight trash. I'll get Wolverine for the newer costume closer to the one in Astonishing X-men but Magneto looks like they tried to put shadowing effects on his face which results in looking like mud was thrown on it. They were $12.99 each which is a damn rip-off.


I was told by a TJMaxx associate that they should be getting in their Christmas stock sometime in the next two to three weeks. Hopefully PoC Waves 3-6 are on their way in full effect at discounters for the season.

I also found the Iron Fist/Luke Cage and Spiderman/Captain Britain CPs at Midtown Comics. I got the IF/LC one off of HTS and Iron Fists legs pop off once I gave him the slightest push off of the packaging. Hasbro is really getting cheap with the Marvel Universe line. I'll probably wait until 2012 to start buying this line again.

I was this close to start collecting this line. But the start up waves did not do it for me. The line has some cool figs like Cyclops, Archangel and X-23. But after seeing the new pics of Marvel Legends, pics of their Archangel and Emma Frost; my plans of cherry picking MU have been derailed.

I'm very excited and can't wait to start on Marvel Legends.

Nope, this was in Reston, VA. I also scored a few more Cobra Troopers during this $6.99 sale. I'm sure Targets in Columbia, Ellicott City and Rockville will be stocked well in the upcoming weeks. For some reason, I'm more excited about what ROSS and TJMaxx will have in store for us in the weeks leading up to Christmas. If we get PoC Waves 3-6, Resolute Sets and the canceled PoC Wave 3 Alphas in good supply then I'll be more than pleased.

Also, ROSS near me has Reveal The Shield Perceptor, Jazz, Bumblebee and Laser Optimus Prime for $6.99 each. No new IM2 figures though...

I'm thinking we're not going to see the Low-Light wave at Ross.. Think that wave was just low production.
Do think we'll see a few more POC Vamp / Black Hiss waves hit maybe... Seeing a steady push of the cancelled ROC Wave 3 Alphas, still. That was a pretty solid wave.
That IM2 freak showing came and went, one and done. Haven't seen it again since, and I've been checking, want that Mandarin!
New TJ Maxx is actually pretty darn solid for house stuff, clothes, fluffy man slippers (they are comfy, and it's getting cold out), and other stuff. Solid place.
Plus I don't have to put up w/ that craphole Ross with the 45 minute check-out line that moves at the speed of zombie slow.

It's a variant. Some people at other sites seem to find them more often than the black webgear. I've only seen four Hyrda troopers in the wild, all four had the black gear.

Found the Future Foundation and Guardian of the Galaxies team packs at Walmart this morning. Left the FF one, grabbed one of two GotG sets.

AoA MU wave would cause me to lose hours of precious internets time searching for them... If MU made a variant AoA, I'd probably lose days.
AoA remains the best written, drawn, and successful story arc of all time.
Amazing that it is 15 years old, and we're still talking about it.

Nothing's been changed. That's the case assortment BBTS and every other retailer is getting, with the others (Lifeline, Sci-Fi, Airtight, Law and Order, Zombie Viper) in another wave in Winter/Spring 2012. No actual specific case assortments were announced before this.

Anyone looking for the new Thor Marvel Legends figures, Super Wal Mart in Frederick as both movie Thor and Loki, 2 of each. I am no longer collecting Marvel Legends however I will say this, Loki looked really nice however the movie Thor's head sculpt was lacking in my opinion. Also, both appeared massive in comparison to my old Marvel Legends from years past. These figures appeared to be in the 7+ inch size as opposed to the old Marvel Legends scale of 6 inches.

I got the impression for the emails that the 1-12 figures will be available for single purchase, but it didn't state a quantity. The 13th figure is only available to those who purchase the entire set.

Rockville TRU had the TF Prime toys. Arcee, Starscream, BB were there. My friend bought Arcee & BB and was able to bust out the buy one and get the other for 1/2 and he also had a coupon. Nice price for 2 deluxes! There were 4 of them left.

The IG is the same as the 30th version and it's hard to tell, but the gray jumpsuit has no markings at all. It's blank. Some are also a lighter or darker shade.

There is also a variation in the 30th IG's file card which could correspond to the above. The one file card starts with pistol and the other starts with bayonet, where it lists the weapons he uses.

Yeah man I noticed. I moved back up north from the beach and the NE WM is only like 15 minutes from my house so I go there from time to time but yeah I only have seen the vehicles getting restocked too... Sucks, as I am sure you know, I always had good luck at that WM with the 25th line, not sure how it was with ROC and POC as I had moved away.

Sucks all the Delaware WMs stopped carrying Joe cause all those ones down south never got hit up and I used to score nicely.

If stores have them now they're probably not in the system which makes the hassle of looking for these no worth the effort. Waves 3 & 4 should be here in good amounts near the end of the year. If Hasbro doesn't start sending out Wave 2 revision caes then it will be even easier in March to find these since stores in this area normally don't stock between New Years and most of March.....

Exactly what I am worried about. Wave 3 is out and Wave 4 is up for preorder but all the stores are clogged with Wave 2. As we all know stores don't start reordering toys after Christmas until spring at the earliest and with the Movie line dropping most likely in May the stores may just hold off ordering until then. So if stores don't sell all of Wave 2 cases they have in the next two weeks and order more Joes for the Christmas rush I have a bad feeling a lot of us will never see either wave at retail! Not trying to sound the panic alarm but honestly I think this is what is going to happen...

you have to find a floor manager or whatever their title is, the average floor jockey doesn't care. it's going the extra mile in inconvenience but you have to if you want to make sure they aren't going to get back into circulation. i had to argue with one once to get them to take a repack off the shelf. it's just as much fraud when they know it's a fake. just ask for thier name, store number and number for the office to call. they seem to take you more seriously after that. my wife is an artist when it comes to working store staff and my mentor :) she usually handles these issues in a matter of minutes.

i'd rather get the card bender back than the repacker. both suck but card bending is less of an offense, although still deliberate act to damage goods.

I remember earlier this year finding repacked black HISS tanks at the Columbia ROSS. Had decent luck in other places though. Probably the same goon then as it is now. I know better now, after purchasing the HISS and realizing the driver was a 25th HISS driver, I've been keeping a keener eye on the windowed figure for my purchases.

Card benders, I'll never understand that. It just takes too much time.
I don't really collect MOC, and I don't know why someone would purposely bend cards on a peg, but I can take a bent card any day of the week since 99% of the time the card is going in the trash. Now if it is a store employee or someone in the know that just wants to bend cards so that he knows a kid looking for that figure will get one, I'm on the fence on that.
The conscious effort of stealing, than defrauding with repacking is just atrocious. It burns me up inside. It grinds my gears, Peter Griffin.

Hit several Walmarts this morning around GB, A Mills, Columbia and Catonsville looking for 30th wave 3 and MU wave 17, nada. I did find a Power Ranger figure my son wants from the TRU in CV though :P

hit the annapolis area today, finally find the last IM figure i was looking, and i notice how many time going to that store that the last wave of IM was always there, tru was a nightmare but got the stuff i was looking for nothing joe related, and target wasnt that bad , didnt check the secondary stores so they might be a shot but i wouldnt count on it

Forman Mills is a discount chain (like Marshalls) that caters to more of a "urban" crowd. Toy wise it's hit or miss...never really knowing what you'll find. There is a FM on Rt 40 heading towards the city and the FM that had the Sinestro Corps was off Sinclair Lane in Baltimore.....NOT A VERY GOOD PART OF TOWN.

Interesting. The one closest to me would be in DC. I looked it up and the area looks rough. No way I'll take the metro to it.

Found Renegades Ripcord and Cobra Trooper at Super-Walmart this evening. That was the last of Wave 3 I saw there.

Also TJMaxx has Iron Man: Armored Avenger 6" figures for $4.99 each. These are still in retail for $14.99. I picked up the Avengers: Initiative War Machine last Friday.

My local Winchester VA walmarts got in 1 case of wave 4 each.

Pleasant Valley store I left Sci-fi, techno viper, scarlet, ripcord tunnel rat, steel brigade, and trooper renegades.

The rt 50 store I left all but the zombie vipers.

The front royal store might have a case in to buy I did not check because I am out of money and I got everything I need now. Except I may get more zombies when i get money.

I wouldn't really be too surprised at this point since PoC is no longer being ordered from retailers and the backstock has go somewhere. Since I've seen Star Wars Vintage (2010-2011) and Spiderman 3.75" figures at Marshalls this weekend it wouldn't be too much of a shocker if stores started getting in new Joes from 2010.

Any luck finding 30th Anniversary/Renegades Waves 3&4 inretail. I need an army of Techno and Zombie Vipers ASAP!!!

Went to two TRU stores today - Owings Mills & Towson, neither one has 30th Anniv. Wave 3 or 4 in stock or more than four Joe figures in the entire store. I guess checking with other stores to see if they have things in stock isn't reliable at all.

Walmart in Towson & Owings Mills both have a decent amount of Wave 2 revision case.

Target in Towson only has a Renegades Firefly.....

TRU Express in Towson Mall is almost wiped clean, DO NOT WASTE YOUR GAS LOOKING HERE!

Toyzam! in Mall of Columbia has one PoC Dusty and 12" RoC Cobra Commander for Joes, another lost....

I have a feeling that we may see restocks sometime at the beginning of the new year but very sparse since stores can now start ordering Retaliation figures for May....

checked Ross Columbia.... if there were any drones, they were gone long before I got there.. that place is empty, looks like they are about to do a fashion re-set and condense down toys, there couldn't have been more the 30-40 total toys (all varieties included) on the wall.. No joes beyond the Mars 3-packs.
