was a nice booth in the middle of the convention that had a ton of Joe stuff, had a MOC Salvo and a MOC Freefall (almost...), as well as loose 25th, ROC, and ARAH figs..
Got some quality buys on loose Marvel Legends, and that one seller on the far end was doing the 14'' Marvel Select Phoenix deluxe figs for $12!! AWESOME!
Picked up an Ecliptic Evader, have been looking for that for awhile, but the cockpit sucks. Old school / no detail. Lame.

man, the smell was awful there. after 1 or 2, it smelled worse, as the masses indulged in ketchup and fried foods...
add to that the heat (was the AC busted, or just couldn't keep up?) and the scent of shame made it hard to work through...
the first 3-4 aisles when you walk in and went to the left were darn near impossible to wade through, but unfortunately that was where all the good stuff was.
Didn't see as many TPB traders selling cheap books like last year; maybe there will be better buys today, but definitely had the tables with $3, $4, and $5 TPB's last year, came home with a backpack full..
Maybe as the day winds down today prices will drop.

I had some figures fall over and my desk was a mess, but no real damage here. I had just left TRU in Glen Burnie when it happened and the mall roof was shaking like crazy. Not the best place to feel safe, in a wide open building.

On some good notes, Walmart stocked some MU revisions. Flame On Human Torch's and Thanos were there. Grabbed the new Force Unleashed 5 pack from TRU. Not much more to report.

Its, $39.99 which is good for the shear size of it. If it where a tad more realistic with the design (which looks dwarfed) and colors(red cannons on the side, ugh...) I would buy it for Crazy Legs, Airborne, Wild Bill and Major. Altitude.

Had a decent run today myself. Hit about 5 Walmart's since this morning and managed to come home with 4 Viper's, 3 Hazard Viper's, 1 IG, 3 Steel Brigade and 2 Stalker. I split these with a close friend since he isn't able to get to get them, mind you.

Also managed to hit up Ollie's and noticed a fresh stock of some Tranformer's. Grabbed the big Optimus and a few of these pretty neat Flitlock pistol model kits.

Was doing work in Hanover PA and stopped by the WM there. They had the new Vamp II and VTOL. Sticker said $20. Passed on them myself but they are out in stores. Interestingly enough, they had joes sticker priced at $5. Didn't have any though.

My best score in a long time and I have to go all the way to SC to find them.

Wasn't me. I'm not driving to Columbia for a toy. I went to the Rockville store like 3 times looking for it when I was in the neighborhood and asked the people there about it. When I got it the dude was actually really nice about it and gave it to me for $60 instead of the $65 they have it for there. I didn't even ask him to do it. He was just like "Lemme' see if this is cheeper online" and gave me the normal price.

I agree about the quality of the piece tho. At first I really disliked it; I still think its the worst of the MP TFs that I have but it has grown on me a little. The hand articulation sucks compared to the others.

skipped Target because they never have anything new Joe wise and got the last Black Dragon VTOL for $19.99 at Walmart across the street. TRU there had Wave 14 MU minus Dr. Strange like everywhere else at this point.

Finially got the new vamp and black dragon at walmart off 26, they had about 4 or 5 pegs for joes ($1.00 each) but they were all empty.

Just Monday night I went on Walmart's website and filed a complaint about Columbia Walmart and Laurel Walmart Super center never keeping Joes in stock and the horrible assistance I received each time I asked for help in each store. Today, my phone shows that I got two voicemails from both Walmart locations confirming that they have them in stock. Attached is a pic per request of the latest Marvel Universe wave I scored in Myrtle Beach at a Super Wal Mart on Monday. All of the figs are pretty good however Ultron is the throw away as he is a repaint of the Secret Wars version from last year. Be careful with Namor as I saw 2 and both were packaged badly but he was fine once I removed him from the package. Good hunting folks.

yup I can confirm the laurel WM. they had everything but hazards, but they also had some POCs ones too. also had two deadpool taskmaster sets when I was there earlier.

I'm kind of disappointed in the new thundercats line, especially with panthro. both the 4" & 6" figures are blah to me. I was hoping that they would have at least made his nunchucks blue & red, but they're just plain grey. I wanted him when I was younger but now, it's just disappointment.

Walmart in Laurel, but of course someone else beat me to the Darkhawk, Steve Rogers and X-23. I picked up Namor who comes with a Trident and an Imperious Rex stand. He has an incredible amount of articulation too. Passed on the Ultron, not paying $8 for straight repaints without any new accesories.

I recently got the 30th Anniversary Vamp II and Black Dragon VTOL from Walmart and I'm confident these won't sell too well. The Steel Brigade Delta figure is Snake Eyes! Forget what it states, he has an unused SE headsculpt which should have been on POC Wave 2 Jungle Strike SE instead. I'm going the give the headsculpt some paint since its really lazy on Hasbro's part to just offer it to us like it is. The Cobra Air Trooper is tall but has knees that are restrained by the pads that makes it hard for the figure to stand properly. Both vehicles are very mediocre; one is a direct repaint with nothing innovative making it worth a $20 price tag and the Black Dragon is way too small and should be in the Skystriker scale to fit at least four figures. The ROC Cobra Gunship fits three figures while this only fits one and is meant to serve as an aerial transport office for CC to have meetings. Nobody should pay full price with TRU always giving out coupons. If you are patient they may start popping up at ROSS sometime next year.

On another note, how is the Rockville area, they have TJMaxx, ROSS, Marshalls, TRU and Target all within a three block radius and never have squat! What gives?

That area is a hit or miss. The TRU is overpriced and is always the last to get stock. That Target used to be good but it has completely stopped carrying joes. Have not seen anything new for a while.

I'll wait for Ross to get those vehicles. I already got the 1st VAMP and I'm fine with it. And I was thinking the Black Dragon would be bigger. So for me $19.99 is asking too much.

According to a friend of mine the Rockville TRU got the Destroyer wave because of the numbers on the cards. I never saw it till today at Target. Kind cool fig!

Found all of MU Wave 15 at Target today. Darkhawk suffers from being too flimsy because of the original Spider-man mold they are over using for the lanky built characters. Additionally, His wings barely stay on his forearms, making him the worst figure of this wave. Steve Rogers has an extra neck joint that allows him to look all the way up! He also has the new upper thigh swivel, waist swivel and extra ankle joint allowing it to move from side to side. X-23 has new legs with an upper thigh swivel. The torso and waist still looks like the norm for female figures. I passed on Ultron again since I already have the earlier comic pack version.

Still no new Joes at Target or at Walmart. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed for the Fall reset for everywhere to start carrying them again. I'm mad at Walmart in Columbia for only having one PoC Jungle Strike Duke on pegs for Joes at $5!! It's been ten months since the stocked any Joes!!!

As for that Duke, its been lost in the back stockroom somewhere until recently someone decided to place it on racks. The pegs still show $5 for Joes so we won't be getting in the newer waves until someone wakes up and decides its time to do stock for all action figure assortments. The pegs will most likely look decent closer to Christmas season with Transformers, Cars 2, Star Wars and Green Lantern getting first priority. I'm sending in another e-mail to Walmart's customer service site so that corporate can see how lazy the Columbia store is when it comes to stocking, period. Also, they don't have any MU in stock, barely any Cap America figs but a decent amount of IM2 figs at full frickin' price?!? Just shows you how low on the totem pole action figures are prioritized in retail.

Saw two sets of the 30th Anniv. Bravo class vehicles (VAMP Mk.II and Black Dragon) at Walmart this morning. I still recommend for anyone interested in these two to wait it out until they hit clearance, discount retailers or have a TRU coupon for it. I have both, and for the size of each I would expect both to fit more figures and have more play-ability factors if they want kids to get interested. They really aren't worth $20 more like the $16.99 price range, no matter what MSRP the vendor suggests it to be.

Still no new Joe sightings anywhere which leads me to believe that alot of stores in our immediate area are waiting for an actual date to release the new 30th Anniversary toy assortments. No Target stores in our area has any Joes in stock besides the Arctic Destros on pegs on sale for $6.99 each, which is a sham since they never intended on adding new product for the sale.

On another note, the Renegades Duke looks awesome from the pics I see online. The weapons look lame as hell. I can pass on Snake Eyes, no need for another hodgepodge figure that offers rehashed parts and lame low detailed accessories.

Also, is anyone intending on buying the Real Steel robots toys? They look kinda cool and are in the Joe scale.

I detest anything with the label Renegades. That show sucks (cue in the Snake Eyes music) and want no association with it. Have fun with all those figs.

I'll keep on buying Transformers, the real ones (Generations)! Because the movie toys and the upcoming Prime toys like the show suck as well.

The Renegades show was mediocre but the figs are good, especially Firefly and Cobra Commander. I even feel the Renegades Snake Eyes is much better as a repaint than the urban warfare Snake Eyes but that's just my opinion. Well worth the money I spent. Plus they look more like the current comic line which I prefer to the original comic series.

Bear in mind that past history shows that when Hasbro says "early next year" that tends to mean "December of this year." Now, if they say Spring of next year, who knows. I do think all that stuff will come out.

I saw Hazard Vipers at a Target today, granted, it was in DE, but at least it's a Target in the region carrying Joes. And I saw a few figures from W19 of DCUC - Magog and Hawkman mostly. They both looked cheap and terrible, and this is from a DCUC collector.

Trust me, you're not alone on this one. The Renegades SE is mostly Resolute Snake Eyes with PoC Commando SE headsculpt and some new accessories that look downright silly. Hasbro dropped the ball hard over the last four waves of 3.75" Joes (PoC Waves 5 & 6 and 30 Anniversary Waves 1 & 2). They aren't using any new tooling for the majority of the figs which is really lazy. I'm not even all that concerned with looking for these since the overall feeling from some collectors is that they aren't that great, so they'll be easy to find next month.

The Renegades show was mediocre but the figs are good, especially Firefly and Cobra Commander. I even feel the Renegades Snake Eyes is much better as a repaint than the urban warfare Snake Eyes but that's just my opinion. Well worth the money I spent. Plus they look more like the current comic line which I prefer to the original comic series.

This differs from what I'm hearing. Currently, we haven't received a Snake Eyes better than PoC Commando Snake Eyes from Wave 3. I cant wait to see them in store to judge but I'll most likely get all four since they aren't horrible but could have been much better.

Huh. I don't know, I'm not in any rush to pick them up, not with the caliber of toy that has been out recently, and with Lifeline, Sci-Fi, and Techno-Viper right around the corner..

These four most likely won't hit shelves until closer to the release of the movie figures next summer. Knowing our luck from how Joes show up in retail here in MD, most places will continually get the first two waves of 30th Anniversary /Renegades figures and won't bother to reorder Joes after Christmas time has passed. So if Walmart doesn't decide to keep Joes again next year, our best bet in getting Techno Viper, Sci-Fi, Law & Order, Airtight and Lifeline is through BBTS or Smalljoes.

They've got some great looking parts for customizers.

Not sure how "right around the corner" those guys are, either, since Hasbro said next year for them. :(

Yeah, no where is really stocking the newer Joes like that and its almost October. I think we may see the Renegades figures surface next month at Target, TRU and Walmart, but it would be too much of a stretch to think a third wave will be here by Christmas.

100% likely. Thats why I'm sending stores complaints about Joes being out of stock for far too long. If there is no consumer demand for it there's no telling if your closest big retail store will even bother restocking until the movie comes out next year.

On another note, I picked up Thor: The Mighty Avenger Hogun and Fireblast Destroyer from Target today. Destroyer is garbage, the light up feature already stopped working after pressing the abdomen button four times.....

Did the rounds in Columbia...TRU had no new Joes, though i did pick up an TFA Oil Slick for $6. not too bad, i think. WM had no Joes at all, just the same $5 price tag in the aisle and no MU either. Target though, had 1 stalker, so i'm guessing they'll start to get the new 30th joes soon? and no new MU there either....

as for wave 2, i just want the duke. he does look legit. maybe firefly too, but i have to see them in person. i always do end up changing my mind after seeing the figs in hand.

FYI - Found some Thor wave 2 at Target in Laurel. Someone had already gotten the Warriors Three (maybe a Destroyer?). Grabbed the remaining Destroyer and a helmeted Thor (still two of the latter left). I know it's usually a faux pas to post location, but figured most of the desirable part of the wave is gone... Anyways, Target is putting Cap/Thor/GL figures in the DVD section as the movies are hitting. I'd check there if you're looking for new movie figures...

1. Thats odd, I actually like this version of Stalker! I use the neckerchief that comes with Night Fox on this figure and the colors mesh well....

2. The Renegades Duke comes with a new headsculpt, I prefer this realistic take on the cartoon likeness instead of it looking like the cartoon.

3. Probably so but Hasbro had to balance it out so that fans of the show could easily recognize the figure and also have it blend in well with the rest of the PoC/30th Anniversary case assortments.

4. The Hazard Viper has SkyDive/SkyStriker Ace arms and some new accesories like the compound Z canister. Neat figure all toghter.

5. These are still only at Winner's(Marshall's/TJMAxx) in Canada. We probably won't see them here in the U.S. since they were limited in production because they ultimately got dropped from having a proper release.

ahh I got there too late yesterday! I picked up the ultron but left the namor, since I already have him. Ultron doesnt look too bad. I still want X-23 though. I really can't wait for the next wave of MU. New wolvie & magneto look awesome. by the way, has anyone seen a colossus? I used to see him everywhere but cant find him. I actually gave my away to my cousin so I need another.

I stopped at the GB Walmart on my way into work, nada. Again at lunch time, still nada. I just stopped at Super Walmart on my way home and they had remnants of wave 15, and by that I mean several Sub-Mariner's.

This was the last comic wave, but not the last of the IM2 figures. Target on Cherry Hill Rd. Just recently put out the last wave of IM2 figures to hit retail with the racing stripe Iron Man being at #40! That means besides two Iron Mongers, two Whiplashs, one Crimson Dynamo, one Titanium Man and Three War Machines, we've received 33 Iron man figures from this toyline comprised mostly of repaints.

I would like to get a few Ultimate Iron Man figures from this line and hopefully TJMaxx in Columbia will bring in some new stock next weekend. I heard that these should be hitting TJMaxx/Marshalls stores soon.....

Rockville TRU has the new Avengers Assemble MU figures with light up stands for a ridiculous ass price. These are just repaints of: Bleeding Edge Iron Man, Gigantic Battles - Bucky Cap, Secret Wars Hulk and Modern Thor. I picked up a IM2 Comic Wave 4 War Machine and Tron Legacy light car from the ROSS down the street. They were both simply lying there on the floor; this place is damn mess by the way....

Columbia area is a miss for new Joes and MU. ROSS out there doesn't have any IM2 comic wave figures. TRU, Walmart and Target toy aisles look exactly the same each time I go. I wonder if stores are even going to order anything soon since places are trying to clear as much space for the Christmas season re-stock in December.

TRU has yet to change the product code for Joes. The first wave of 30th Anniversary still have the same UPC: 588331 as the PoC Waves. Went to TRU Columbia today and saw a 30 Anniv. Stalker and four PoC Wave 3 Desert Assault Dukes. They all came up under the same UPC when scanned. The same thing with Target too.
