I can confirm the Annapolis Target did the same thing. Had about 12 of the wv 2 exclusives back @ full price. They were $6xx a few weeks ago.

germantown walmart had nothing to speak of. this store generally sucks.

any recent sightings of the Past & Present at either Towson or White Marsh Targets? I don't want to go too far out of the way to pick it up... could MAYBE do Gaithersburg after work one day... saw that post a few posts up that they had a dozen. Never saw that many at one time here. Once they hit 75% they will be GONE. I was surprised how fast the RoC Target 4 pack went when they hit 75%. Target Towson had 25 of them one day, a few days later they were completely gone.

yes, anything 75% is usually gone within a day. my store has dozens of the ubp one day. the first day they hit 75% they were all gone by the afternoon before i could get there.

thats why i'm asking that if anyone catches them at 75% please pick up 2 for me if you have the means. in all likely hood, i will not be able to get to any store in time to catch them. didn't work for th ubp but it's worth a try.

$50 is what I would have expected the original price to be. I picked up (well looked at) the TRU exclusive Tie Interceptor the other day and they wanted $50 for that. C'mon now...that's highway robbery. These kind of prices drove me away from collecting. I can afford it but I don't want to pay those prices. It's insane. I can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a piece of plastic that's gonna sit on my shelf until I get bored with it and resell it. I'd be lucky to get $20 back and to me toys are just a bad investment.

You may want to buy it at that price because Target has the same price and they are getting snatched. No more at Rockville and in another store there is one that has been majorly sabotaged. Tape all around the box.

Target annapolis had about 4 X-wings last week...stopped in yesterday and they're all gone. Must have gone on clearance and i wasn't aware of it.

The past and present sets are still $17.48 at this Target but $6.24 at the one in Columbia. Figures are $4.18 at Target. For some reason the Target exclusive Transformers:RotF Fallen, Fallen figure is taking up much of the clearance space. I counted over 50 last night at one Target store.

I'm still waiting on the MP Skywarp to come down closer to $15. I like it but its a straight repaint of MP Starscream so I wont pay that much for it.

I went there yestrday afternoon, you definitely got the very last CPs there.

Still no sight of Iron Man 2 toys in MD though, kinda sucks. TRU had the 3.75" Venom variant with tongue as well as the Doc. Octopus figure which looks plain sad for even HASBRO's standards.
TRU Columbia lowered there prices for Joes down to $6.99. Walmart is still $5.00 and Target is $7.89-$8.69 for some singles but $4.18 for Wave 2.

I like that nothing exciting is coming out for the next few weeks as far as Marvel is concerned. New Joe toys like the Wave 3 Alpha Vehicles are out at some Walmarts but thats about it until July -September timeframe for PoC toys. This saves us time and money.

since there is nothing new coming out until August maybe I'm planning to build up on Marvel Universe and Transformers. Only thing is that the retail price for MU is way too inflated. I just saw the Ultron vs. Mr. Fantastic CP at Rockville TRU on Friday for $15.99 and I passed on it. It was a set I've been wanting for a while but it should really be closer to $10 - $11 in all fairness. Also, Joes have been dropped down to $5.50 at some Targets but they still haven't ordered any new figures since Wave 3.

Still, I'm not that excited about whats going to hold us over until PoC, Wave 3 Alpha Vehicles are all repaints excluding the SHARC and Hasbro's Marvel toyline is disappointing with all these small overpriced figures with no accessories. Anywayz, at least I'm saving gas money on more important things...

This looks like the last bit of manufactured 25th inventory leaking into these discount stores. I've only seen 25th anniversary at Ross, TJMaxx and Marshalls in the Towson/Baltimore County/White Marsh area. TJMaxx in Arundel Mills and Marshalls on Rockville Pike (355) has no action figures so don't waste time looking there for Joes!!! I'm really interested in seeing if we'll get Waves 11 & 13 in these stores since I'm addicted to collecting Eels and Resolute Troopers.

On another note, I'm excited about Transformers though. 2010 is going to be awesome with all of the Decepticons coming out. I also saw the TRU exclusive Arcee and Ratchet toys in Columbia on Thursday.

I was t the KMart on Bel Air rd yesterday. They had a few PIT's left. They were still marked at $50 but they also had the sale o 30% off all clearance prices. that would put the PIT right at your $35 pricing point.

Not to be a smart ass but why would it? They are $3 and change at Kohls and as of this past Sunday they still had a few on the pegs. Kohls marked them down over a month ago!!
For the most part (with a possible few exceptions) the ROC figures were pure dog shit. Even my 5 year old could care less. I love Joe as much as the next guy but I'm convinced nobody is buying this junk other then us.

Yo Dude! I was at Target in College park and they still had 1 of each of the new MU comic packs but you better hurry. That was at 11:30 this morning. The Marshalls next door had some 25th joes including 1 tiger force duke(package was ripped but still complete, $4) and they had:
-a SHARC with driver
-a serpentor air chariot and joe tank
-a firebat with pilot
-a flight pod pack too.

This is a good sign but its 4:14 pm now so those MU CPs most likely are gone. Saturdays early in the morning are normally good times to find new stuff. I'm really convinced that Marvel Universe has to start hitting shelves of TJMaxx & Marshalls since a good portion the figures are pegwarmers. Also 82joe, no you're not being a smartass, I too wish these damn figures would disappear but these retailers over estimated the demand for RoC and now they're stuck with clearance aisle merchandise that may just be permanent, lol....

I'll wait until the weekend to hunt again for other stuff besides Joes. My last purchase was the Black Dynamite DVD and I've been cracking up at it. Keep me posted...

There were a ton of the new NEST RotF Transformers figures at Target on Cherry Hill Rd. in Beltsville/Silver Spring. I saw Brawn, Armorhide, Ratchet and Lockdown and they are going for $9.99 right now even though the sign says $13.09. They also have a ton of the Past & Present packs for $12.98 on the clearance shelves. I saw a twelve inch Iron Man 2 figure hidden somewhere on the shelves. I'm really cool with Hasbro chilling out until Fall of this year with new Joe product, it gives me time to save my moola up on other things....

found most of the IM 2 figures I wanted today at Target. These figures are great!!! And for $6.99 each the price justifies the scale. I got only the Comic Series excluding Mark I Armor Iron Man since the figure wasn't there. I wish they'd bring down the price of MU since the quality of the figures are lower than any other 3.75" toyline managed through Hasbro. I also picked up a Where The Wild Things Are Blu-Ray for $19.99 at the same Target here in Beltsville/Colesville Area.

I'm not even spending much moola on toys until PoC returns. I Absolutely love the Iron Man 2 toyline and its good to know that each figure will basically buy you another one for free since the Waves coming out in May have $5 off coupon attached to each figure!!!

Again, TRU in Columbia is running the 2 for $10.99 sale on IM2 3.75" figures but its a bust. Some collectors/scalpers basically massacred the pegs on Saturday and only left two or three of the over accessorized deluxe figures.

I'm not even spending much moola on toys until PoC returns. I Absolutely love the Iron Man 2 toyline and its good to know that each figure will basically buy you another one for free since the Waves coming out in May have $5 off coupon attached to each figure!!!

Today I boutght a Transformers RoTF NEST Mindwipe from Target this morning for $19.99. The Past & Present sets were still $6.24 for anyone who needs them and the RHINOs still had the $24.99 stickers on them in one section. Maybe a price scan would determine if the item was indeed cheaper but I didn't bother today.

For KushViper, our stores in the Montgomery / Howard / PG / Anne Arundel / White Marsh / Baltimore County Areas are always late with getting the newest items, so I unfornately haven't seen any He-Man action figures in retail since the last toyline in 2003-2004. I will still keep a look out for it when I see them popping up in our area.

I'm still waiting for the upcoming waves for IM2. I like some of the Marvel Universe stuff but jeesh, the price has to come down in order for me to really buy them up.

My Target charges $9.29 for MU figures, $8.44 for SW figures, $9.99 for deluxe class Transformers, $6.99 for IM 2 figures and $5.04 for RoC figures. So its only a 70 cent difference between a slightly articulated 3.75" figure and a 6 inch figure that transforms with accessories? I see that RoC singles are going for $2.98 at Target while some are under the $5.04 sign. Anyways, its still not moving even with the clearance prices.

I wouldn't get too excited about the Cobra Island packs until we see them somewhere east of the Mississippi - I'm still waiting for the extreme conditions sets to show up in CVS.

The TRU was pretty bare when it came to Marvel figures (other than Iron Man and Spider-man) - I saw nothing in the way of Marvel Legends, but I wasn't looking for them so I may have missed 'em.

I scored some BATs a while back up in Towson - I forget which store it was, but I posted about it at the time. They also had bazooka troopers and para-vipers. No single vipers, though.

Picked up the Entertainment Earth Star Wars Joker Squadron 7-pack ($16.99) and the Star Wars Rebel Pilot 3-pack Wv. II ($7.69)from Ross in Laurel off of Rt. 1 and Contee Rd. near the Best Buy on Tuesday afternoon. The MU Wave 3 CPs are at Walmarts in Columbia and in Towson for $12.88 and at Target of Columbia for $12.89. I still am waiting for those 2010 Wave 1 ML 2-packs to show up in MD.

Also, Transformers MP Skywarp is STILL $30!!! The RHINO is STILL $24.98 at most Targets. Iron Man toys are so stacked up so much I doubt we'll see the newer waves in May. I still haven't seen the latest MU Avengers Wave in MD but it should be out near April. Anyone see any Cobra Island 7-packs popping up at Ross please post it up here.

82joe, TRU Columbia (Columbia Crossing Shopping Center off of 175 and Dobbin Rd.) has had empty action figure pegs for almost two entire months now (mid January - present). The entire section has not been well stocked since before Christmas. I didn't know this was the same in other locations. Anyhoot, I'll save my time by not going there until we start getting some exclusives sightings in this store. I swear they had the same three ML 2-packs in the Marvel section since December!!! They might have 4-5 Joes on the pegs and one or two MU figures. I swear I think they must be low on staff that does inventory and stocking but they are losing money by not putting anything out for people to buy. The IM 2 action figure, 2 for $10.99 sale was a joke last week since they only restocked once and the supply was very limited.

Walmart has been the best place to get anything. I always find goodies in the clearance aisles and their prices are always lower. They FINALLY reduced the prices of their SW figures to $6.49 and they still have some RoC Wave 5 stuff on pegs. I'm still buying Transformers and Marvel until PoC comes so Walmart is the best place to get anything....

Well, walked into the Bel Air rd KMart tonight... right up at the front of the store they had metal racks with buncha stuff.... all the clearance items were 50% off!!! I got a Night Raven for $11!!! And they had probably 5 left.

Also got a Rex for my 5 year old... or, as he calls the character, Dr. COBRA. Makes sense to me.... :-)

K-Mart in Pasadena had about 5 Night Ravens ($11) and about 15-20 of the exclusive 4 packs ($10)..not much else Joe wise. A few of those kiddie Cobra Commander mobiles and some really lame bulky 12" figures (Duke??) However, I did pick up a Optimus Prime ($6) and a X-Men Iceman ($3xx) for my son. Snagged myself the Star Trek Transporter w/Scotty as well as Kirk, Spock and Sulu for a little over $10....wasn't gonna get these but for that price why not.

Target in Wheaton and the one in Cherry Hill Rd have lowered the price down to $12.48 on the RHINOs. Wheaton has 4 and Cherry Hill has 11.

There is one Pitt at each of those places but the one in Wheaton seems majorly sabotaged.

i only bought one to try the 'mauler' custom. my son has one because he has whatever i have. it's not a vehicle i really like out of the box. the wacky flight thing inside the roller is just too hookey for me.

the pit for $25 is an excellent buy! i had to wait a long time before it was reasonably priced for my taste but it worked out. my son is going to have a blast with it. he loves creative play and play battles and this will be perfect for him. even at $25, i won't buy one for myself though.

i still am not seeing 25th at the cheap stores. wish i was but i'm not.

I always find what I need at Columbia on Wednesdays and Saturdays, EARLY in the morning, like before twelve. Target is a rip-off still charging $8.69 - $9.29 for MU while the MSRP is $5.99 - $6.99 for Hasbro 3.75" figures. All I really want is the Rhino figure from the Spiday toyline but I'll wait for it since its not going to eb that hard to spot when the wave hits saturation at local retailers. Did you find the Defense of Cobra Island 7-packs yet? Please check Ross this week...

my wife picked up an attach on cobra island set for me last night. $18 to whomever needs it. i actually managed to get 2 of each set so i'm good. my youngest son who still plays joes with me is going to have a great birthday in july ;) picked up a pit, rhino and both cobra island sets for him and all on clearance which is a huge bonus. anyone with multiple kids understands. 2 birthdays and christmas every year gets expensive, even for a clearance shopper.

the novelty of POC has completely worn off. Hasbro is doing wrong by delaying the release date of these figures until Fall 2010. I was excited about a few but I've seen these figures several times since last year's early press images of POC (mid Fall 2009). The initial press images of a future toyline and the release date should NEVER BE GREATER THAN EIGHT MONTHS. I don't see myself driving from Walmart to Target to TRU for any POC figures since it all looks like it should have been out in retail early this year.

Anyways,congrats on getting that RHINO figure. I might look for one while I'm in Columbia tonight.

I haven't been out looking for the past two weeks. I'm waiting until May to start looking for IM2 Wave 2 for both the movie and comic toys. Hulkbuster Iron Man looks awesome.

PoC is arriving to on-line retailers on July 28th. I guess we won't start seeing a good supply of them here in MD until late August. Too bad, really, Hasbro would have blew the top off Joe toy sales if PoC came out in January and was still going strong currently.

Kids have short attention spans for things are aren't at the forefront of advertising and merchandising. Besides Bakugan, young boys would only be interested in IM2 and maybe some superhero action figures and transformers; because thats what stores are sublimally telling them to buy once they walk past the toy aisles. Joes are shelfwarming the pegs horribly since too many retailers thought it would be smart to order 100 + cases of the first two collections and disregard Waves 4 and 5.

The movie has been out of theaters since October and the DVD went on sale around November and stores still had plenty of the same exact characters on shelves. Now its April 2010 and the same stuff like the Alpha vehicles, figures ($5? really whose buying? ) and some exclusives are in the same spots at full-price. This is a turn-off for stores to order more Joes since its stock that may not sell at such a good rate. Without a cartoon to push PoC fully, I see us having the same problem we did last year by having some stores never order the later waves. This means we'll have to search Walmarts across DMV to get a Jungle Viper and Shadow Tracker which just isn't cool.

That's why I was surprised to see TRU restocked ROC figures. I mean, why? Tomorrow morning (5/1/2010), Walmarts in Maryland will put out the Wave 2 Iron Man Comic Series 3.75" figures as well as the 6 inch figures to boost the IM2 movie coming out next Friday. I'll be at my Walmart at 6 a.m. to pick up some of these bad boys. That's about it..........

The 6" figures are $11.79 or $12.00 from what I'm hearing. Again, why is it that we are always one of the last places to get things on time? I'm sure everything has to be put out before Saturday May 8th to promote the movie so by Wednesday we should start seeing everything.

I was at Rockville TRU at 1pm today and saw IM2 Wave 2 stuff there. They had 1 Hulk Buster and several of the new figures there after I left. I grabbed a Hulk Buster.
They also had a restock of the MU comic packs with 2 DR. Doom packs there and a couple of the others from that wave. There were several of the newer MU singles too. No Black Widow but they had Bucky, Cage and a few more.
I grabbed the only IM2 War Machine Mighty Muggs they had but they were stocked with Iron Man Mighty Muggs(TRU exclusive). Just an FYI.

The only place I've ever found discounted single carded 25th Joes has been TJ Maxx. I've never found them at Tuesday Morning, Marshalls, Ross...and I've looked. several times. I'll have to try checking Family Dollar as soon as I brush up on my Spanish. :)

TRU Rockville: They only had 2 Iron Man figures from the latest comic wave, the pointy faced one and the 90's armor. I bought the Jedi Twins and two other Jedi Knights from the latest wave for $4.99 each!!!
Target Rockville: Nothing new
TRU Columbia: Nothing new
Target Columbia: Nothing New
Walmart Columbia: No 6in figures
Target Ellicott City: Nothing new
Walmart Arundel Mills: Nothing New
Target Laurel off of Russett Green and 198: Nothing new
Walmart Laurel off of Russett Green and 198: Nothing new but they had a PIT Headquarters, Night Raven and tons of other goodies in the clearance toy aisles

My guess is just to wait until next month when saturation hits and these IM2 toys have to get discounted at 2 for $10 to start making room for the next big summer blockbuster. Target in Bowie has an entire endcap (and some in the aisle) of red tagged ROC figures for $3 and some change. Nobody really to get excited about but I spotted a ton of Snake Eyeys, Storm Shadow, Destro, Duke, Baroness and a few random Vipers. There may have been more but there really was too many for me to look through. Knowing Target I'm sure in another week they'll drop them another 30%

They also had 2 Serpent Armors and 1 Jet Pack exclusives

This Target I live by just also happens to be the worse at stocking and ordering enough new toys on time for people to buy. They hardly ordered Waves 11-13 of Mordern Era 25th Anniversary Joes, Marvel Universe figures, Wolverine X-men Origins and plenty others. I normally go here since I pass it on my way home from work but it is generally not worth even looking at the toy aisles for anything new.

The Target and Walmart off of 198 and Russett Greene Rd. in Laurel is also a waste of time if you ever considered looking there for what you want.

Completed my search for Wave 2 Comic Series of Iron Man 2 toys on Saturday. I found Titanium Man, Gaurdsman, 90's Armor & Pointy masked Iron Man at TRU Rockville last week. I picked up IM2 Hulkbuster Iron Man on Saturday for $2.00 at K-Mart in the Joppa Rd. shopping center in Parkville/Towson on Saturday. The cashier couldn't find the figure in their system so she just scanned a decorative gift bag in its place which was only $2. Lucky me....

We get stuff late, but we seem to always get it. Everything that gets posted as a find at the discounted stores I've seen here in MD, with the sole exception of the pharmacies that got in the extreme conditions sets.
