So I read that Taken 2 is coming out end of 2012. Any Taken fans think the sequel will be just as good? I really enjoyed the first one and thought the fight scenes with Liam Neeson were awesome.

I read an article last year that the sequel was going to DTV and a new actor but now I am reading both the ex wife from the first movie and Neeson will be back.
I hope the fight scenes will be just as good. Any thoughts?

What can the plot of Taken be? The daughter gets kidnapped again?

No thanks.

Taken was awesome. It should be stand alone.

Can't remember where I read it, but I remember reading that the second ones plot was about the daughter using what Neeson taught her to rescue both him and his ex... I hope to God it was just some random full of BS rumor because that sounds like the most horrible turd of a movie ever, unless the daughter grows up to be Gina "Oh my God she's so freaking hot, I want" Carano. Then it sounds pretty awesome. I don't care if "Haywire" is coming out I want more "Crush".

All of Liam Neesons movies need to be retitled "I'm gonna hunt you down and kill you." lately.

I wonder if his latest, "Kill All the Wolves with My Bare Hands," is any good?

I've liked Neeson's last couple movies, Taken and Unknown, and looking forward to The Grey.

The plot I read said that Brian (LNeeson) and his ex are taken hostage by the father of the boy who kidnapped LN daughter in the first movie. I think I will still go and watch it. Hoping that the fight scenes are pretty cool.

Instant pass if that's the plot.

God, that sounds awful. I loved the first movie and Neeson rocked, but it doesn't need a sequel. We can accept the "same shit happening to the same guy twice" for John McClane because the DIE HARD movies are larger than life, but the appeal of TAKEN (for me) was that is was raw & realistic. Ergo, a retread destroys that element right away.

As much as I loved the first, it was a completely stand alone story. The only way I'd be interested is if it were an adventure about Neeson's character, and not a retread of someone getting kidnapped and him rescuing them.

Not a fan, didnt like the first one, definitely not interested in a second one.

The only movie Ive actually liked him in (and not just tolerated) was The A Team. I thought that was a pretty good flick and he was perfect as Hannibal.

For a sec I thought you meant the miniseries, and I got all excited. You suck.

^ This. The first movie was awesome. Not sure about #2 - they need a good story.
