I thought this might be of interest to any of you who also collect orgianl comic art or would be interested in owning some.

Juan Castro, the inker of the IDW Snake Eyes series for issues #1-8 will be offering his inked pages from his run on Snake Eyes thus far at a significant discount starting Monday, January 16th. His sale will run for a week and all pages that were originally $100+ will be 50% off and all pages below $100 will be 40% off. Shipping will run $10.

Juan's pages can be found here: Snake Eyes - The Interior Pages (http://theinteriorpages.blogspot.com/search/label/Snake%20Eyes)

This site is run by a guy named Jason Palmer, who again, represents a number of artists. I should also note that I am in no way affiliated with this site, other than I've bought from here in the past and it's always been a great experience. Jason was kind enough to let me know about the sale ahead of time and I figured I'd pass the word here.

Finally, these pages are the originally published inks. For those of you who know how modern comic art process can work, you know what this means. For those of you who don't, in this case the penciller draws the pages, and then sends an electronic copy to the inker, who prints them out in blue line and then inks the piece. Original inks are just that--the original inks. They are one of a kind and they are what ends up being published in the comic, but they do not have the pencils underneath them. If you have any other questions about this sort of thing you can email Jason through the Interior Pages and he'll help you out.

I actually own the penciled pages 1 and 2 of snake eyes #4. I got it directly from Robert Atkins. I also own a few pages from issue 3 as well. They are the penciled pages and are amazing. I may have to get some of these.
