Horror Movie League of Extraordinary Gentleman?!

Bruce Campbell has said that he would love to do an Expendables-type of horror action movie with a slew of B-movie badasses. As I googled around, I came across a pic that takes this idea one step further. This band of anti-heroes is known as "The Horroes", they're not exactly heroes, but they can kick some butt!

I love horror... I HATE 'horror comedy'. I don't mind humour in a horror film as long as it's not the main thrust of it, so it really depends on how they intend to play it. Would be cool to see PHANTASM's Reggie and his quad-barreled shotty in action again though.
Be great to see Jeffrey Combs back in the white coat too.

But 'Nightbreed'? I thought I was the only person who saw that film at the flix!

I would pay good money to see a film that stars Ash and Toxie. All that group needs is Leprechaun and it would be the perfect movie ever made.

Cool idea, not sure about that cast of characters though. Reggie is a weak link big-time. And Darkman? I dont know. Right track, but recast half of those misfits: Peloquin (even though he is super cool), Reggie, Darkman and Belial gotta go. Put the Leprechaun in there, along with Swampthing, Stripe (Gremlins) and maybe.....Roddy Piper?

Obviously, hell no. Great flick, love the FX/creatures. I miss flicks like this now that everything's CGI.

How can Reggie be weak? The Phantasm films are good, if confusing, fun. Reggie kicks @ss, blowing away evil with a 4 barrel shotgun and tryin' ta get laid along the way. I have always wanted to see Reggie and Bruce Campbell together. I guess I kinda got my wish in "Bubba Ho Tep", where they shared 2 scenes, but I want Ash and Reg to banter a bit. I hope it would be as cool as the Han/Luke exchange. "How we doing?" - "Same as always." - "That bad, huh?"

And I can see Leprachaun & Swamp Thing in there, 'cause I dig Warwick Davis and I like the Swamp Thing comics of the 80's. I can't see Stripe in there because he wouldn't play along and would cause havoc. Maybe a cameo...

And Roddy Piper as Nada from "They Live"? If Reggie had to go, this would be the guy to replace him. It's funny how the name of the character is Nada, yet his name is never spoken in the film. Nada, of course, is spanish for "nothing".

I love the Phantasm movies. LOVE THEM! But I just dont think they reach/reached a broad enough audience, and I never really cared for Reg. Not sure why, just never did. Throw "The Tall Man" in there, or just the balls!

I love Piper. I grew up on WWF and Piper was one of my favorites. I met him a couple times when I was a kid and he was always super cool so Im biased. They Live is a CLASSIC "B" movie. Phantasm was a real horror movie and scary as shit (at least "The Tall Man" and his little minions were). Isnt this supposed to be "B" movies?

Cool idea, I would love to see something like this. It wouldnt make half the budget back, but it would kick ass and become a cult classic.

They Live was a Classic and Roddy Piper was the f'n man in it but i dont think his character should be on this list. He nowhere near as iconic as these characters.

Nope. Saw it in an empty flea pit on it's original release, really enjoyed it and even got the behind the scenes book that explained a lot of the 'mutations'. David Cronenberg's mask freaked me out!

And Reggie stays! I love the PHANTASM franchise, especially the first when there wasn't as much humour (III went too far the other way). While they're not very accessable films to the 'casual' audence, Reggie was the one character who was the 'everyman' glue that held it all together.

If ANYONE from Poltergeist would be ij this, it would have been Zelda Rubenstein, the lil medium lady! Loved her in "Teen Witch" too. Top that!

Anyway I'd love to see Ash and Jack Burton kicking all kinds of monster/demon ass.

I'd Like Dr. Loomis too but that's impossible since he the actor passed away, I thought that dude was badass when I was a kid, he took the fight to the boogeyman every time.

And for some new guys I'd want Tucker & Dale, and Shaun & Ed. in there.

Haha yeah, Ash and Jack Burton were always a team I wanted to see ever since I could remember watching movies as a kid. I wish there were more horror characters like Dr. Loomis.

You should definitely see Tucker and Dale, Dale is the guy from "Reaper" oddly enough, haha.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, that show came out on DVD and for that cheap? Damn I wish we had a Big Lots here.

Oh and Jack Crow from "John Carpenter's Vampires", I love me some smartass protagonists in horror movies.

BTILC wasnt a horror movie, but definitely a sci-fi action. LOVE Kurt Russell, and he is nothing short of pure awesome in that movie.
