View Full Version : New Sideshow policy for Exclusives?

Looks like the option to order the Standard editions of Sideshow products has been taken down on any product that still has Exclusive versions available (the Baroness PF, Viper, Hawk, Black Dragon Ninja, and even Stalker and Dusty). Standard editions of Zartan and Rock & Roll are still up (because the Exclusives are on Sold Out/Wait List status?)

I also buy LotR Sideshow stuff, and it's the same way with them.

Looks like Sideshow has decided to only push the Exclusive versions on their site and hold back on Standard versions until the Exclusives all sell out. The fact that many people reserve standard editions (which usually don't require a NRD) and then cancel after obtaining them cheaper elsewhere probably has something to do with it.

Yeah, the Sideshow Exclusives should be pushed first, then the standard editions, especially with all the third party sellers you can get the standard editions from. Just as long as they don't start requiring deposits on reservations (right now it normally two or more).

Some of the bigger exclusives (like the PFs) have NRDs, though I've noticed they are also putting more restrictions on how many Exclusives people can buy. I tried to get a second Viper Exclusive yesterday, but it wouldn't let me because it's now one per customer.

Yeah, they seem to be shooting themselves in the foot with that one...

It's probably because of all the reservations submitted...then they open them up as credit cards are declined or payments not made. My fear is that they are gonna ask for a NRD for any orders so that they have a more accurate count of pre-orders...Sideshow nothing to see here...move along...
