Wonder what it'd be like if Stephen Sommers and Michael Bay traded places meaning we'd get, "Transformers: A Stephen Sommers film" and, "G.I. Joe: A Michael Bay film".

Mummy three was definitely the worst. My favorite part of Mummy two was when the mumified warriors appeared for the first time in the movie... They seemed to be doing the old Wassssssuuuuuupppppppppp??? routine.

I thought they were both out of franchises.

I would rather have a director with less of an ego and more respect for the source material. So Bay and Sommers both fail.

While I wasn't a fan of the Transformer movies, I often felt like the military team in those films felt more GI Joe to me than the military portrayal in the Rise of Cobra movie. In many way, the Bay films almost seem like a "Transformers/GI Joe"crossover series.

I never read any of those, always hated the idea.

But after seeing the way Bay handled that (and I did like the TF movies btw, well for the most part) I think it could be interesting. And since they placed the GI Joe movies in the not to distant future and gave them all those great weapons and armor... I really think its going to be hasbro's ultimate goal.

Even without Sommers' shitty directing and casting choices the script still sucked.

I don't know man, I like I said, I'm the died in the wool super TF fan. (which is probably why I liked it so much) But the first one, I thought was spot on. The second one, they got a little raunchy for no reason in some parts for a kids toy.

The third one was a bit out there, but it still managed to tie most everything up nicely.

^ Agreed. Love him or hate him, Bay does a great job showing the military on film. Checkout The Rock - awesome.
