G.I. Joe Live Action Movie Casting Call: Storm Shadow POLL

Jet Li - This movie needs a good Actor to play this role. His skill with a Sword is unmatched by any of the other options. Without a doubt there is going to be a huge Sword Duel between SE and SS so this is my choice.

Kane Kosugi - Son of the greatest ninja of all time Sho Kosugi. His sword play was brief but good in War, fighting ability looked well in D.O.A.

Takeshi Kaneshiro or Donnie Yen...but i think Takeshi edges him out in facial appearence alone...

it's crazy how much Kane Kosugi looks like his father.

Jet Li is not a good choice. he is to old and physically nothing like Storm Shadow. They won't be able to cast him anyway, think of his salary.
if you are looking for a pile of A-list actors, movie won't make budget.

Kosugi. His knowledge of ninjutsu will aid him in this role, and adds tremendously to his credibility. Ninjutsu is very, very, rarely ever done right in cinema. For a character like Storm Shadow, who is human, not a mutant or serum powered super soldier, you need an actor who knows ninjutsu and can pull it off credibly onscreen. The audience will be expecting a lot of action, but also those who want something accurate, such as myself. I do not want to open my eyes to see a wire fight between Snake eyes and Storm Shadow, or a Muay Thai/Wu shu match in ninja costumes. The other actors are trained in those, and while they can be trained in ninjutsu, its not enough to match Kosugi's knowledge.
Ninjutsu is very different than other martial arts, and its necessary to have an actor that knows it to portray it.

I also pick Kosugi. Since thats how I imagine Stormy to be like in real life. But any athletic actor can be trained to do a good sword duel...they just need a good trainer to make it up. How can the majority of you guys pick Jet Li..he's good and all but not for the part of Storm Shadow.

Shin do you study Bujinkan/Genbukan/Jinenkan?

Here's my thing. Jet Li only stars in films right now as the headliner. How are you going to get him to be a secondary bad guy? It would definately be cool though but I don't see how they can afford him!

Kosugi would be good since
1 He's trained by his father Legendary Sho Kosugi greatest Ninja actor around
2 He's the right age for this group
3 If he could be a tough little turd in Revenge of the Ninja, he would be indestructable as Strom Shadow like his father, that would be also another cool cameo Sho Kosugi as Hard Master
