Yeah, I was having some rather fun conversations with a couple of guys in there. I was bummed to get on and not be able to continue the conversations! :( Its a blast to get on here and really talk/debate film with people like i was earlier last night.

I understand about debates going hostile, but the debate/conversations I was having was far from that, and quite enjoyable. I wish I could recall for the life of me who the two guys I was talking to were, because like I said, it was a real pleasant conversation.

In fact, I don't believe we even mentioned any race or anything, it was more about hiring actors too well known for certain roles and how that could effect an ensemble cast for the future Avengers movie.

Hey good seein ya again man! Ya, I was having a blast in there, but I imagine something happened (I did make a "Seth Rogan as Black Panther" joke lol) but something probably started going on about race hardcore again.

Last night reminded me of talking to some of my old film class buddies years ago. We would always sit at Denny's at about 3am and just talk and debate film till forever a.m.

Film class is a blast. I learned to really appreciate every aspect of Cinema. Hell even the bad stuff. Are you in the business now?

Well, I worked in television for 5 years, production and engineering, thats about as far as I ever took it to a professional level. I got to direct a few local tv shows and what not, but nothing special.

I work at a movie theater part time as a projectionist, just so I can get into movies free, and I have quite a few friends who call themselves "Filmmakers" who are kinda riding the 'starving artist' route at the moment. I help them from time to time with basic grip work, or post production stuff from time to time. I would love to get into it more, but Im just so busy with my actual job that its hard to get into the crazy hours of filmmaking.

I have a couple of friends who write a bunch of scripts and shop them around, and actually have one that finally got 'snagged'. I hope for the best for them, but it really is hit or miss in those fields.

More or less, I keep a foot in the door with all my friends, just to kinda stretch my legs with film from time to time, but nothing serious.

When I got older I worked as a Producer for Universal until I had a Jerry Maguire moment and went Indie. I did it backwards.....LOL. I ended up doing a few indie films, some made money, lots didn't and when that did not pay the bills as I imagined I tucked tail in and headed back to the Studio route. But things worked out for me.
