One lives in Binghamton, and found wave 2 only one time.

One lives in Syracuse, and has been very fortunate and has found both wave 2 & 3 multiple times.

Thanks Outback, But no Thanks. If I don't find them I will Survive. Not happy, but will survive. I was just wonder if they are hard to come by or not. With Xmas right around the corner I probally will not see them. Hopefully will be rerelease in a later wave.

Today I went to every Target in Brooklyn, Queens, and 2 in Nassau county. I was looking for the $6.24 5-packs. They were still at $17 yesterday. Today they were at $6.24 but all I found was one Joe 5-pack in Queens. Someone stole Duke from the pack so I left it.

I am still looking for one of each of the three 5-packs for $6.24. If I can't find any at that price I guess I have to hope and wait for TRU to put theirs on clearance. They all have a boatload of them. If anyone has bought multiple 5-packs for $6.24 and is looking to unload one of each please let me know.

By the way I finally saw Wave 5 for the first time in NYC. They were at the Gateway Target in Brooklyn. I didn't buy any because the cards were a bit creased. I have still yet to see Wave 4.

I want to hit the Valley Stream Walmart tomorrow morning when they open at 7AM. I get off of work at 6AM, but the snow might be a problem.

Today is 1/14/08, the big day that I thought Walmart's toy modular would be done by, but I was wrong! After dodging a bullet by missing that snow storm, I decided to go on a little hunt after I got off of work at 6AM. I went to the Walmarts in Valley Stream, East Meadow, Uniondale, and Westbury, as well as the Targets in Levittown and Westbury.

The Walmarts basically had nothing. I found 1 Joe and 1 Cobra Legions 5-pack in the East Meadow Walmart still for $17. I found 1 Duke vs. Cobra Commander Comic pack at the Uniondale Walmart.

At the Westbury Target I found the lonely Shipwreck that RedEyes mentioned earlier. I want a Shipwreck, but this one was the new one without the anchor on his belt. I want the original anchor one. At the Levittown Target they had 3 diaper crotch Stalkers, and 1 hooded Cobra Commander. I left them because I want a fixed crotch Stalker. They also had a few Wave 1 diaper crotch comic packs. I didn't want those either.

On a good note I did pick up a Star Wars Darth Vader Mcquarrie Concept figure. I needed another one because the first one I got has card and bubble damage. They also had a UGH Mcquarrie Concept Boba Fett. I left that one because he had sticky goo on him. I should have got him though because I think he was a weird variation or error. The UGH figures with the gold lettering come with gold coins. This one had the regular silver coin.

Anyways I hope you guys have better luck. Keep me informed if Walmart gets their act together.

TRU Times Square only has the original 5 pack and the Cobra Legions.. for 29.99 still!!

I went from Rutland, VT to Albany, NY, and hit every Walmart, Target and TRU. TRU SUCKS, only a few comic packs. I found most of wave 5(i need a SNow Job for my 4 year old son, and a MOC CG figure for myself still) at the Target in Albany. scored some Comic Packs from wave 2 at the Walmart in Albany. found 2 troopers at the Target in Queensbury, and that is about it!

Just wanted to let WNY people know there is hope. Went to Target today to the usual trip down the Joe aisle to my surprise 2 cases of Wave 5--after soiling myself I cleaned up and went to the register. Cashier attempted to scan and they were not even on file yet. I dont know if stock boy made mistake and put them out but the cashier had to put them in the system manually. NOTE: I did not buy them all left some for everybody else!!!

I was just at that LIC TRU on Saturday, but they had nothing. I forgot it was even there to tell you the truth. The last time I was there was in 2003 when I bought a car from Major World. I think I'm gonna hit the Douglaston TRU right now.

I'm still hoping on Walmart to finish up their modular in hopes of getting in some older waves as well. I missed out on lots of figures already.

Found Wave 5 minus Crimson Guard and Snake Eyes at the Farmingdale Target on Long Island. They also have a bunch of Wave 4 minus Storm Shadow.

You know, in hindsight I should have grabbed the 2nd CG for others on the board, but I was trying not to hog everything. I was just happy to find a Snow Job and one CG, since I already had bought Flash and Destro online.

It's a little ridiculous - 1 paltry case is in no way going to satisfy demand around here. If I come across any others I will let you guys know. I live only a few blocks from the LIC TRU.

Has anyone found wave 2 of the comic packs in the city yet?

I also live in Queens, and I work in Brooklyn. I shop all over Queens, Brooklyn and Nassau County for these figures. Sometimes I will even hit Suffolk County.

As far as Wave 2 of the comic packs go, the first and last time I saw them was at the Walmart in Uniondale on 1/07/08. They had them all but I only bought the Dreadnocks 2-pack and the Snake-Eyes / Storm Shadow 2-pack from Wave one with the fixed SE crotch.

I'm still looking for figures from each wave, so keep me informed of what you find in the area and I will do the same as well.

By the way if anyone finds any $5.00 5-packs at Walmart please let me know ASAP. I could use 1 of each for that price. I haven't seen them for that price at walmart as of yet, but people are finding them in other areas across the country.

No offense to you, but as far as collecting goes, it must be nice to live in a less populated area than NYC in order to get what you want. It gets pretty sad day after day seeing empty pegs everwhere you look when other people are complaining about peg warmers of figures you've never seen.

I wish those stores packed up the figures that aren't selling and started sending them our way.

By the way xhairs I've seen pleanty of your customs over time and I must say you are one of the better customizers online. Keep up the good work man.

I just went to the Target at the Atlantic Center in Brooklyn and I lucked out and found 1 Buzzer there. He looked lonely on that peg so I picked him up. I'm wondering though if some stores will still get in some of the older waves like 2 & 3. Do you think it's likely for them to have gotten in an older wave like this just now?

That Buzzer was probably hidden somewhere else in the store all this time and was finally returned to his peg because I was at this Target a few days ago and they had nothing. All of the toys were thrown around. All that I found was a Firefly lying on the bottom shelf that someone had removed from his card, probably with hopes of stealing him. He was complete with all of his weapons though. I still need a Firefly, and I so wanted to bring him up to customer service and ask if they would sell him to me, but I didn't want to look like an idiot, or even worse a big kid. LOL

If anyone sees anything before wave 4 please let me know. I figure I can get all of Wave 5 since they are new, but the older stuff is getting harder to come by.

Glad I could help you out Wobbles. The last time I saw a Zartan was at the Walmart in Islandia back in December. I picked one up. They also had Beachhead, Firefly and Stalker all with the fixed crotches. I still need all 3, so I was stupid for leaving them behind like that. Instead I picked up an extra Hooded Cobra Commander that now I don't even want. I'm looking for the variant one which the buckles on his leg holsters aren't filled all the way in with gold.

I see those TRU 5-packs everyday, but who is gonna spend $29.99 on them? I wish i could have scored them when Target had them for $6.24, but they were all out. Except for the one I found in which someone stole Duke out of it, so I left it behind. Oh well dropped the ball on another one.

I scored the Dreadnocks 2-pack at the Walmart in Uniondale about 2 weeks ago. Haven't seen them since. Just got a Buzzer last night at a Target in Brooklyn.

Let's see I need most of them, but I'm being picky so I don't want them all, like I could care less about Troop builders, and crappy looking figures like that awful Serpentor.

What I do want is a Storm Shadow V2 from Wave 1. I also want a Beachhead, Firefly, and Stalker with fixed crotches, a Shipwreck that still has the anchor on his belt (the new ones are missing it), and also a Lady Jaye. I didn't get a Flint but i'm hoping for a better version. I'm still looking for that variant version of Hooded Cobra Commander that I mentioned before. I could also use one of each 5-pack to open up for a cheap price. I already own one of each sealed. asfar as the comic 2-packs go I need the Scarlet/Hawk revision with fixed crotch and also the Breaker Destro one.

As far as Wave 5 goes, I need them all and I'm waiting until Walmart gets their act together and finsihes up their modular already.

1 Flash was there around 11 AM this morning Wobbles at that TRU near Green Acres. I still need him along with all of Wave 5, minus the Crimson Guards. I figure once Walmart restocks there is gonna be Wave 5 galore, so why pay $5.99 now. I hope that my cheapness doesn't screw me in the end. I missed out on Waves 1,2, and 3 because I was inbetween jobs. Now that I'm working again I can afford to buy figures. I would pay $5.99 for older ones I was missing though.

IMO its pretty noticeable. The fixed crotch kind of looks like a "T".

I picked up wave four on Mint cards at target in westbury on about monday i think. BUt i havent seen shit anywhere else . Its depressing. I wonder who the one scalper is that is getting all of these? lol or how little the deliveries have been?

I'm looking for the one on right. See how the gold buckles on his leg look different than the other 2? The other 2 have gold filled in all the way. The 3rd one on the right only has the buckle trimmed in gold, like it would be in "real life". that is the one I'm looking for because he matches the helmeted Cobra Commander's leg. Sorry I'm just being picky for looks, not looking for a variant.

I believe the one on the left with the darker hood was the first released in Wave 1. The one in the middle is the one I have 2 of, and also the one I see all the time. I thought the 3rd one on the right was the most recent and the way he would be released from now on, but i can't find him anywhere. I really just want a loose one. If worse comes to worse I will just open up the one pictured in the middle and color in the gold in the middle of those buckles with a black Sharpie.

If anyone sees that 3rd one pictured on the right please let me know.

Rumor (from a NJ TRU insider)has it that the Night Watch may show up this weekend. Seems a bit soon after the announcement. They seem to like to make us drool a while before we see things in stores.

I am pretty sure the Nightwatch sign has been up in my local TRU since the original 6 pack but I guess we can hope...

I'm not a troop builder and as far as collecting everything and anything that is released goes, I think I gave that up some time ago. I will probably be passing on those TRU exclusives. When it comes to these 25th Anniversary Joes I'm only buying what I like which is more or less never versions of the original ARAH releases.

Right now I'm more interested in seeing if TRU will ever put those $29.99 5-packs on clearance. I could still use one of each to open up, but not at that price. Maybe not even at half that price.

Just got back from the TRU in Huntington Station, the Target in Hicksville and the KB at the Source Mall. No singles to be found, but that Target had a load of the Wave 1 Comic 2-packs with diaper crotches warming the pegs as usual, and the TRU had a load of 5-packs like the rest of the TRU's do, but still at $29.99.

I just got my preorder in from BBTS so im set at the moment. I still check the penn station kmart but they never have shite. I went to times square TRU but they had no joes at all. Im always in a rush so i may have missed them at TRU.

I thought i would just hunt around here (Nassau,Queens, NYC, Brooklyn) and find everything. That was definitely not the case. In my situation the preordering just made better sense.

I have to admit that I am very picky when it comes to buying action figures. I look over many of the same figure before I buy one that I'm satisfied with. My main concern for my loose figures is the paint job. As for the figures that I keep carded I definately look over the card and bubble as well as the paint. I guess this is why I'm missing many figures because I haven't made many purchases.

As far as pre-ordering goes, I would be worried with what I receive. Even when I buy figures I'm always on the look out for a better looking one to replace the one I had. I have actually returned ones to the store after buying a replacement.

I guess I have compulsive issues that are getting out of hand, but hey who dosen't? At least I can admit it right. LOL

I jumped the gun on Thursday being the "lucky" day to score as I was shut out just as you all were.

On a good note though I did find a fixed crotch blue Snake Eyes in the Wave 1 comic pack at the Walmart in Valley Stream. I left it there, but it leads me to believe that they must have had in Wave 2 comic packs recently because that's the wave the fixed crotched versions were shipped with. Hopefully Walmart is starting to get stock back in.

On another good note, I was at the Target in Westbury around noon and they were putting out brand new Nascar stock. I'm wondering if this means they will be putting out new stock all day and we could see some Joes. I don't think I will be able to get out there again today, so if anyone does and sees anything please post.

KB Toys in Manhattan Mall had 1 Serpentor, 1 Stalker, and 7-8 Cobra Troopers. I was tempted to grab some Troopers but the line was long and only one register was open. If someone goes later they might have an easier time. K-Mart in Penn Station had one lonely Duke/CC Comic pack, but I couldn't tell if that Wave 2 had come and gone.

I went looking for that Joe 5-pack at the Gateway Target in Brooklyn yesterday, but I was too late because it was gone. They did have a few Cobra Officers and Troopers (The Enemy), as well as a Red Ninja, Stalker, and a few Buzzers. I left them all behind, but went back today and picked up an Officer and Trooper.

I have one of each 5-pack, but I got them when they were $24.99. I was looking into buying one of each more just to open so that I could keep the other ones sealed. I wanted to buy them when Target had them all on clearance for $6.24, but I was out of luck. I even heard that some people got them for $5.00 at Walmart, but not in our area. Right now I'm hoping that TRU puts theirs on clearance because who will buy them at $29.99? Not me that's for sure.

Sorry if I sound cheap, but I figure if other people got a great deal at $6.24 I wish I could have as well.

Farmingdale Target:Wave 2/3 Revision, Wave 1 cp. Found a Wave 1 Snake Eyes though, which is odd. The card was completely shredded. I wanted one to open anyway!

Yeah, I saw the same thing the other day in the Valley Stream TRU. They also had these green sheets everywhere showing the new spots for everything. Looks like their making room for the new 5 packs, like you said. And the new 3 pack figures also. Looking forward to these!

Westbury Target: Wave 4 singles minus Air Trooper and Storm Shadow. W1 CP

Westbury Walmart: 1 lonely Scarlett(That's probably the first time I actually saw a single cadred figure on the pegs!) W1 CP

Carle Place TRU: Wave 2/3 singles. W1 CP and 1 W3 Ace/Wild Weasel

Went out to pick up some comic books@AmokTime, then decided to go to a couple stores to look for Joes. Here's what I saw..

Valley Stream TRU: Wave 2/3 singles. W1 CP
Uniondale Walmart: Wave 4 singles.
East Meadow Walmart: Wave 4 singles.
Levittown Target: Wave 4 singles(they had a ton of em, minus Air Troopers)

I have yet to see a Crimson Guard in stores. I only have 1 MOC that I got from a friend, but I'd like to get a few more to open. Oh well, soon enough I'm sure!

Target in Niskayuna had Wave 4 Single Packs tonight. First new stuff I've seen at any Target in over a month... Maybe a good sign?

Upstate NY, I've found them all. Recently stores have received the new comic 2packs, Crimson Guards, Wild Weasel, etc. As for single carded figures, Walmarts just start shelving the single carded figures of the 5packs including Storm Shadow, Destro, Gun Ho, Road Block, etc. I actually found crimson guard, Destro (Iron Gernaders), Snow Job, Flash, original Snake eyes about a 1 month ago at a Target. Was amazed at this find, haven't seen them since.
