If anyone is looking for the "Helix wave" the East Greenbush Walmart has put out 4-5 cases of figures. Plenty of Elite Vipers, Eels, Crimson Neo-Vipers, Flash, Helix, and Pit Commandos! (I took 3 and left 2) Look behind the Sharc and the Spiderman box directly to its left. Go get 'em!

I found a snake eyes with a gray timber today.. It was out in the open to laying on top of the vehicles. Found it at Target Middletown. They also had there exclusive vehicles. I didnt pick any up though.

I also stopped in Hallmark and picked up the Indiana Jones and Ghostbusters Ornaments. Figure I get them now when I know they are there and I have the money.

Driving home from work I stopped by a Target in Bethel,CT. again and they had completely reset their toy aisles.There's now a spot on the shelves for the Target exclusives they must have had 1 case and I picked up the only Classic Eel with Wave Crusher.I also picked up Cobra Commander with fixed no holes and the grey Timber P.P. Snake Eyes.I saw a bunch of the Helix wave figures but looks like someone picked through the Pit Commandos already.They must have had at least 7 of the Cobra army builders:Eels,Crimson Neo Vipers,Elite Vipers,Ice Vipers.I guess the NY stores should be getting the same reset soon

Well I went back there today. And they were all gone. I really don't see how this is a variant if there were 10 of them. Whoever bought all of them must be a scumbag scalper. Idiot.

Anyway, East Meadow Walmart had about 5 Pit Commandos, Helix, etc. Westbury Walmart also had a few of the Helix wave.

And Westbury Target had the exclusive figure/vehicle sets.

Just got back from Westbury Target myself their reset threw me off a bit, picked up a grandslam exclusive and eel exclusive, dont care for the snake eyes or the bike he comes on and to be honest... i dont need another claw or air viper. picked up the rhino as well, i know i know, will probably hit clearance but i couldnt help myself, anyway ill just save the reciept.

Thats lame about the pp snake eyes with grey timber, i highly doubt there were 10 guys who collect in that area

Brooklyn Target (Atlantic Terminal) did not have much -- Collection 1 Wave 2 (CC wave) and 1 RHINO. The figure/vehicle packs have sold out and were not restocked yet.

I picked up a PP SE with grey Timber. My feeling is the latest case assortments have this running change and that the earlier assortments with the black Timber have run their course.

Yesterday afternoon, saw that Times Square TRU had replaced the huge transformers display with GI Joe items. They had a ton of Collection 2 Wave 1 & 2 and remnants of Collection 2 Wave 3 (mainly Flash, Cobra Eel, a couple of Gen Hawk).

They also had Dragonhawks and Crimson Hydras, but were $28.99 each. Yowch! Stick to Target for your vehicular needs!

Strangely, their main single-carded display (about 2 walls worth of figs) lacked Collection 1 figs. This was in the afternoon so I wonder if they just spread Collection 2 around to fill the holes?

Today went to ToyRus in Pk. Found 3 pit commandos and picked up a Flick Trix bmx bike in blue for a cobra stunt bike. Plenty of crimson vipers , eels . elite vipers , helix's also still there.

They had three there. 1 was the way it was supposed to be-original. 2 of them had what looked like different torsos, short-sleeved, bare arms w/gold wristlets and the long swords removed. Nice work A-hole.

like 5-6 ice vipers stood out, bunch of paris pursuit snake eyes (grey timber) and storm shadows helix and flash's as well as eels and crimson vipers, eels and the likes, saw someone else thumbing thru the figures. these are on end caps and in the regular joe area. So troop builders may wanna check it out.
Ive personally decided to stop troop building back when the snow serpents and bats originally hit and i am really glad i did this is getting ridiculous trooper wise

target in westbury has simple restock of some stuff as well, finally picked up a sgt stone. brendan fraiser ftw! as well as my 4th (and hopefully) final pit trooper. 2 regs 2 variants, but i open them so it doesnt matter.

Finally found the "Doctor" wave today at the WM in Amsterdam. Picked up 2 Doctors (both black coat), 2 Artic SE, 2 Paravipers, 2 PP Baroness, 1 Artic SS and 1 Ripcord in reactive armor. Still there should be 1 PP Baroness, 1 Ripcord, 2 Duke accelerator suit and 1 SS. They also had about 6 cases worth of the Helix wave with all Pit Commandos. They literally had both collections, all 3 waves of each on the pegs and they were very full. They wouldnt price match TRU because none were close enough. So I settled for a Target price match. Nothing of mention at the Target there. TRU in Colonie still has a few Eels and Elite vipers. WM on Washington Ave had 1 Helix and a bunch of troopers from that wave, no Pit Commandos (also a repacked SS). Nothing really at Target Colonie.

TRU Times Square on the final day of its 2 for $10 sale had very little new things to report. Just a few cases of Helix wave, lots of Wave 1 (both Collections), no Wave 2 Collection 1 (PP SE wave), No Wave 3 Collection 1 (Rex Doctor wave).

Tons of Alpha Vehicles and Night Ravens. A whole bunch of Steel Crushers and Gunships. No Dragonhawks, one Crimson Hydra and a few Ice Daggers.

At least I picked up both variants of the Pit Commando and a Gen Hawk. 1st time I've seen Pit Commandos on the pegs though I know this wave has hit a few times before.

Crimson Stike Team boxed set, a loose bagged set, 12" Crimson Para, the 2 jetpack figures, the foreign 3 pack of figures that go with the Con set. 2 grey foreign Con FANGs, 2 Con Iron Grenadiers, 1 Iron Anvil, 1 headhunter stormtrooper, 1 Convention Flash, one of those 40th Anniversary multi colored prototype figures, 2 really cherry vintage AT Joes, snagged some movie figures as the Club was having a 2 figs for $10 sale all weekend long:) Also snagged a few Crimson Copters and some of Sam Petrucci and Larry Selman autographed prints which I plan on having framed. Probably snagged some more stuff but I'm still really tired from driving to KC and back. Was a lot of fun. This is the 2nd Convention I've done as a dealer selling some of my unwanted stuff, which is fine cuz it helps pay for the trip. Unfortunetly it really kills some of the fun factor because your tied down to the booth and ya just can't really go just hang out or skip out for an hour and sit down and have a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. Also go the ComicCon Destro...2 of 'em. And the Convention version of the CC Baroness.

Folks have been crying for a JoeCon in the northeast/new england area for ages now. I'll tell ya what, folks don't show up and frankly spend some money, we probably won't get another one. The left coast hasn't had a JoeCon in a long time because Brian hasn't made any money at those. I'm going, not sure if as a dealer, I might just go to have a LOT OF FUN! I'm starting to save money for it starting...now:)

I regret not buying more blades. The show was great and the sneak preview stuff was kinda cool. I picked up mostly vintage stuff, including an 84 unopened Zartan with swamp skier. I also got most of the night force figs from 88 and 89, there were some pretty good deals out there...met some great people and had a lot of fun.

Sure there are great deals and stuff you don't see online or anywhere else but at the Con so its totally great, but its the friends I've made online and at these Conventions over the years that really keeps me coming back. Noticed Scotia/Glennville Walmart has been going through a remodel, poor bastages. I remember 2 of those. Anyway, they have a TON of Joe stuff, some fairly newer stuff. No crimson vipers though, they are picked clean. GIJOE Club was doing 2 figs for $10 at the Con so I did snag some goodies from them:) Walmart in Cobleskill has started putting out more stuff and they had 16 toy pallets on the floor today as they are in the middle of a reset. New Star Wars and Indiana Jones Legos were out there as well if anyone is interested. I know I love me some Legos from time to time.

Found the latest wave -- Rex "Doctor", PP Baroness, RIA Ripcord, D6 Duke, Arctic SE, Arctic SS and Para-Viper -- at Times Square TRU this morning. Looks like they had a few left (maybe 3-4 cases) -- check the bin on by the cashiers on the 2nd floor (just at the entrance of the line to checkout).

Picked up The Doctor, Baroness, SE and Para-V at 2 for $11 and used 2 $10 gift cards. A total of $2.93!!

Hey Bionic Commando, thank for the intel on the Pit Commando at the Catskill Walmart. Believe it or not, it was still there sitting behind the v-tech toys as of this past Saturday when I stopped by on my way upstate. Picked up the rex wave all but the storm shadow from toys r us in middletown. When I left there was 2 rex's left in black coats along with 2-3 figures from that same wave.

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply. Haven't been able to get online yesterday and today. But anyway, I found the 2 packs at the East Meadow Walmart. Scoop and I went back yesterday so he can grab them and all that was left was a MW set and 2 Shockwave sets. We left 1 there yesterday on the pegs with the Joes in the aisle.

If I see them again, I'll make sure to post or I can stash them for ya. Just let me know. As for wave 3, I saw only a few over at Douglaston TRU today. Target Colonie- Nothing new...however, I asked "Gloria" in toys to check the DPCI # for GI joe Rescue Mission, the Target Exclusive. She went in back and grabbed 2 for me. The Snake Eyes Rocks!! The colors on the Neo Vipers are2 pretty cool also. There should be 2 packs left in the back room. I checked for wave 2 of the smaller vehicles as well...nothing yet.

Walmart Latham- Put out 1 box of the Doctor wave. I grabbed the Doctor.

Kohl's Colonie- Take your pick from the Doctor wave...but at $10 each, they can keep them

Agreed. All of the repacks around are crappy kitbashes or troopers missing equipment that I've noticed.

Why don't they reduce the price of the Alpha vehicles? Those things need to clear the shelves so Wave 2 Alphas can show up. I think this area is SOL in terms of Wave 2 Alphas. Only saw them a few times at Times Square and that was a month ago.

I found this interesting...I was at Crossgates with my son today, and as I walked by the old Kay Bee location...A large TRU sign was above the opening. We went inside and low and behold, the Wave 2 Alpha Class vehicles. We bought one of each (Mantis, Skysweeper, and Snarler Cycle). $16.99 each- Ouch! There are still at least 2 of each left.

I've been these seeing also. There's one in the Deer Park Tanger Outlets and there's in the Lake Success mall where KB used to be. They had the new vehicles also. But no single figures yet. The guy told me they would be fully stocked soon.

I stopped buying ROC stuff but I figured I'd let people know what I've found during my work route.Yesterday morning at 10am in Middletown TRU they restocked and had at least 4 Pit Commandos and the new Avatar Mech suits and ATV's they also had 3 3/4" Cinema of Fear Freddy,Jason,Leatherface which I picked up some.I went to Middletown Walmart to buy some Voltron and Thundercats dvds's and I found more Pit Commandos and Dr. Rex's on that endcap display with the old school cartoon sets,every Walmart I've been to has these new ROC shippers which contain Dr. Rex's and Pit Commandos.There are also 4 more Pit Commandos on a sidecap away from the Joe aisle by the video games.I know Fishkill Walmart had 4 Pit Commandos on those shippers on an endcap by bikes a few days ago.In South Hills Mall Poughkeepsie Hobby Lobby opened up which have model kits for army vehicles for those interested and have plenty of customizing craft supplies like clay and paint.They have display cases but expensive.The 2 Walgreens in Poughkeepsie had the white Dr. Rex wave,Charbroil etc. but for $12.Every Rite-Aid I've been to has Pit Commandos but also $11.49.The Rite-Aid Vassar Rd.Pk,Hopewell Jct. had them.Target in PK. has the Rescue Mission set, they also got in the Marvel Universe wave that has Electro.TRU in Danbury CT. also got in some Pit Commandos as well as the Danbury,CT. and New Milford CT. Walmarts so they're out there must have spotted at least 20 on one day

My buddy Greg called me today and said he found those at TRU while I was on the road. Went hunting for DVD Packs at Marshalls stores today.

Halfmoon: nothing also

so newer ones have hit and left the area but its a good sign that they are starting to trickle out.

Also this weekend is the CT GIJOE SHOW in North Haven, CT. Its sunday and its a really good show and its easy to get to. I-90 to Mass pike (still I90) then I-91 south and take exit 12 for Washington Ave.

So this morning a decided to head out to MiddleTown for a quick toy hunt. I went to Toys r us and picked up that Republic Gunship that is on sale. I keep reading how these gi joe 25th dvd packs are showing up at Marshalls so since it was right next to Toys r us I decided I stop in since I didnt have dvd packs 3,4,or5 . I walked in and low and behold .. pow! There they were! $14.99 each.. I picked up all 3 sets.

everytime I see that Best of the 80s set I just get excited. Save the head they chose to put on Duke, that set is such a win. Well, except Alpine. I gotta say, he is the worst figure of the 25th line. Don't know why folks jones for him so much. Glad they do cuz it helps pay for all the other stuff out of the set I like. What to do with all those Cobra Commanders...I should take pics...maybe later:)
