Anytime Dmizrok. Colonie Target had 1 Conquest and 1 Rattler earlier today. Both Colonie and Clifton Park TRU's had lots of each of the new 5 packs. Also, Niskayuna Target had what looked like a full case of Wave 5 Comic Packs on the pegs tonight, both Destro's were Gold-headed. That Conquest was also still there. Nice to see Nisky w/ some new figs finally.

Rotterdam WM had about 2 to 3 cases of the IG Destro and CG revision cases. It looked like they were all there too. Also some more wave 5 comic packs. Glenville WM had 1 revision case and a few old vehicles.

Just left the Target in Kingston they had the Rattler and Conquest jets I was tempted to buy them all but left them behind since I have no room for display space.Picked up another Crimson Guard set at the TRU they got in more of the Joe Trooper and CG 5-packs nothing worth mentionin at the Walmart just more of the revision cases

Last night TRU in Colonie had a boat load of each of the new exclusive 5 packs. They were stacked and then piled on top too. Walmart on Washington Ave had a few CG's and others from the revision cases. They also had a HISS that someone stole the HISS Commander from and returned it with a comic pack Firefly w/ no gear.

I have 3 each I currently have room to display 2 each.I'm keeping one set sealed I like the packaging display.I still haven't opened them I'm trying to think of a way to display them flying with fishing line without looking to tacky.If I could I would like 5 each but I know these will be re-released at mass retail in a different color scheme so I will hold out till then.I keep pics of my display in my photo albums.

I was at Target PK last night and they had 2 Conquests and 1 Rattler at store closing.Went in Fishkill Walmart Sat morning and I got a blackhead Destro variant.They had some older 2007 Wave 4 pegwarmers they must have found hidden and put them out.I might start getting some of those pegwarming Vipers to clear out some room for Wave 10

Had a interesting find today. I guess the Target in Hicksville found a bunch of 25th logo Joes somewhere in their backroom or something. Most of the cards are really bent up, but all the figures look perfectly fine. I picked a Flint and Storm Shadow. They still had a Snake Eyes w/Timber, Cobra Officer, Lady Jaye, Scarlett. Just thought I'd post this for anyone "late in the game" that still needs these.

Yes, it only comes with 2 but has room for four. Someone else said the Fang's can be swapped to it. Found another Firebat at the Glenville WM. Only the Awe left there no Fang/Claw seen there. And yes all 4 sets of the Combat Heros were at the CP TRU.

Got a case at Walmart in Fishkill the other night. Got the Bat, Claw & Fang and Leatherneck with AWE Striker. The last one was the 001 Hiss which I put on the shelve with the other GI Joe stuff.

Must say that the Claw is horrible. 2/3 the size of the original with half the detail and quality. Truly disappointed with the claw. Everything else is great.

Hey - new to the message board. I've found looking for joes in NYC to be really frustrating. I've mostly resorted to ordering from BBTS or HTS, since most of my searches come up emptyhanded. In any case, after reading this thread, I was "inspired" to do a complete sweep of the Queens area sites. Overall, it's pretty clear that the latest wave isn't out here yet. For some reason, NYC seems to lag behind the rest of the country (which I don't quite understand, since hasbro is based in the northeast). Today was crazy in terms of quantity though - i've never seen so many figures stocked.

TRU Northern Blvd: Crimson guard 5 pack, FF Greenshirts; various comic packs, but no BH destro. No single packs. Some wave 1 vehicles, no wave 2. All the wave 1 3 packs, but no wave 2.

TRU Middle village: Same as the TRU Northern Blvd, but plenty more singles - bbq, Snow serpents, crimson guards, spirits, jetpack duke, bazooka. None of the latest wave (ie wraith wave). DVD packs.

KMart middle village: Ninjaku, snow serpent, tiger force flint, flash. bludd; dvd packs. Not much else

TRU Whitestone: I got pretty psyched when I saw the full racks, but it was all the same stuff which I already have. Baroness, Rocknroll, python force office, duke jet pack, tiger force flint, Hiss tank driver (x4), spirit, roadblock v2. Plenty of comic packs (no BH destro), wave 1 vehicles, crimson guard 5packs, green shirts, wave 1 3packs, and some wave 1 vehicles.

Target whitestone: Some wave 1 vehicles. Spirit, wildbill, duke jetpack, snow serpent, flash, tiger force flint, cobra commander w/element, baroness, bbq, road block v2, python officer, 25th ann serpentor, 25th ann viper, bazooka, flash

Any figures from the older waves that I mentioned did not have the 25th anniversary foil, unless I indicate otherwise. Basically looks like Queens has been getting the same distribution of wave 9 (woops, forgot to mention that I saw Hawk everywhere). I didn't buy much, since I already had everything through my online ordering. I'm sort of annoyed that I've never seen a BAT in stores. I was surprised to see so many snow serpents, since I figure they would be snatched up for army building or by scalpers. I'm wondering if I should give up hunting, and just buy everything online. I've waited for previous assortments to hit NYC before and missed out, forcing me to make some annoyine ebay purchases. Sort of depressing, since I really enjoy finding stuff that I need. Is the times square TRU reliable? I heard someone mention that midtown comics gets shipments, too. There's also a KB in herald square that sometimes has stuff, as well as one in Jackson heights.

Not to sound preachy, but I hope none of you are unscrupulous scalpers. I admit that I buy 2 or 3 of each figure, but that's just to have for my collection- i've never sold anything ever. It's frustrating to go hunting and come up empty-handed, and to see all of this stuff available on ebay for jacked up prices.

Wow, thanks for the super in-depth reportage. NYC is just about the most frustrating place for Toy collecting. Like you, I'v enever seen a BAT in a store either. I've assumed it was due to the ultra-density of the population on the one or two toystores. I'm also a mostly bbts buyer-- it's the darn store exclusives that drive me up a wall.

Checked the Target at Atlantic Ave today. A couple of 12 inchers, a Wild Bill, some scarface comic packs, one V.A.M.P. and a few series 1 DVD packs.

I did a full sweep in Brooklyn and Valley stream. Interesting to note I saw a BAT Maj Bludd Snow Serp and other notables at middle village Kmart first thing in the morning, left them on the peg, I really only want Fang/Claw and Air Command. Valley stream wall Mart and target had none of the new. there were three rattlers at valley stream target, but man that's a hike. I agree that NYC is about the worst place ever for joe hunting.

I also got my EE pre-order a couple days ago and I got a clear Wraith.The whole case for $55 came up to about $6.90 a figure the $9 shipping would exactly be the cost for NY tax and less than the gas I would have spent so I don't know why people complain that online ordering costs more.

I've pre-ordered the same time from BBTS and Entertainment Earth and E.E. always pulled through first before BBTS and is usually $5 cheaper per case than BBTS.EE gets there stock in first because they are in the west coast close to the overseas delivery while BBTS is Central.Hasbrotoy shop would be the cheapest but they always have low quantity in stock.If I can't find it from Hasbrotoyshop I prefer E.E. but BBTS is always good for me too because I collect Transformers also and they get in hard to get overseas exclusives.Hope that helps.

Just go my wraiths from bbts. Got a wave 10 case with the variant and ordered 2 separately, which were nonvariant. Have to say, the non-variant looks pretty cool. I think both are pretty cool. Reminds me a lot of the old medic droid from star wars though.

Still haven't seen any wave 10 on the pegs in NYC...but I think the way to go is internet ordering.

Walmart in Glenmont has more revisions, Snow Job, Stalker, the hooded storm shadow(thats version 2 right?) Armored Cobra commander. There was a Flint but i picked him up finaaaaaaaalllly, he was my favorite when i was little, and i see what everybody was talkin about. His paint job isn't the greatest and his hands really are the worst. They look like there bout to fall off and end up lookin like Ben Stiller in Tropic Thunder. I hope they fix them for the hall of heros and put his gloves on. Also just Serpentors chariot and the bubble pod vehicle, sorry i never really paid attention to most vehicles names and forget alot of the ones i did know, well tahats whats there either if you want it or maybe i saved you a trip.

Same here, i am real tired of going all over 2 find absolutely nothin, im bout to start orderin online, this is stupid the randomness of who gets what when. I was at TRU colonie, nothing but wildbill, duke, and some firely vs. those five gi joe regular soliders, i dont remember what there called. Target colonie & target latham had the hawk and bazooka wave with no bats or serpents. Walmart latham had reminence of the stalker/snake eyes revison case. Walmart east greenbush had nothing but wild bill and spirit STILLLLLLL. Walmart in Troy on hoosick street had Torpedo/wildbill/snake eyes(with knives across his chest) still on 25th cards along with hawk and bazooka STILLLLLLLLLLLL, since about early to mid August. They need to start havin close to offical dates these should be on shelves, this is ridiculous. The only place that seems to stay current is walmart latham, glemont isn t terrible, and the walmart on Washington ave in Alb fell off it used to stay fresh. Also, I've been preordering stuff for quite some time now with BBTS. Up untill Wave 10 and the new vehicles, I always found the items at retail first. Then I just cancelled those orders. BBTS has no fee for order cancellations before they are processed. They are a little more than retail with shipping but they also offer the "pile of loot" option to combine and save on shipping. I have also odrered from Hasbro Toy Shop and TRU online with very good results. Right now with all the revision waves clogging the pegs, it seems like online may be the way to go... at least for the momment. Or look to the stores with small quantities to get new stock towards Christmas I suppose.

Rotterdm WM has about 15 Duke w/jetpack, 15 Spirit, 15 Vipers, and a handful of other figs. KMart in Rotterdam Mall has nothing new. Kay Bee in Rotterdam Mall has the Wave 1 vehicles for $19.99 a pop (first time I've seen them at a Kay Bee), and a few Wave 9's minus BATs and Serpents.

The dragons Den in the Marshall’s Mall in Poughkeepsie has 2 Bats with A.V.A.C, 1 Shark with Deep Six and 1 Dun Buggy with Leather Neck. One small catch.........THERE FREAKING $30.00 each!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky for me I already hade them all except for the Shark. I was so happy to find the Shark there until I saw the price. I even had the guy double check the price for me. No way I was buying it there. The other day I paid $14 and change at Wal-Mart for the same items (minus the Shark of coarse). What a rip off. I hope they don't sell a single one. I had a problem like that with a Bakugan toy for my son. I just went up to the customer service desk, told them of the price difference between stores, and they called up the other store and changed their price in the computer, just like that.

The Dragons Den in Poughkeepsie has a bunch of the 7 pack Cobra Winter and Cobra dessert troops. $39.00 each. A bit expensive but not too bad. I actually picked them both up. They also have a bunch of the new vehicles but they are expensive at $30.00 each.

*On 10/31 stationery & toy store on 72nd st (1/2 block east of Broadway) had one "SITH LEGACY" multipack (only the edge of box showed).

Well I have done it, I went to the dark side and ordered just about everything that's out and going to be coming out that I don't already have ((((ON LINE)))). I have a feeling (if everything goes well with my internet order) that I will be ordering on line from now on.

I will miss the hunt for sure. With shipping and the "on line" price hike that most places have, I'm not even sure if I will be saving any money ordering on line. But, I will have much more free time and that alone is worth it. I usually spend 2 to 3 hours on my days off toy hunting, and that is just ridiculous. Now I can enjoy that 2 to 3 hours playing with my son instead of dragging him to stores.

So if all goes well I might not be on this thread as often. Time will tell.

Got my case of Wave 11 in the mail today from BBTS. The EEL is awesome! Airborne and Zartan are good too but the Swamp Skier is just a little bit small.

...for all the Hudson Valley hunters...my nephew lives in Newburg, and we brought him home this evening...we met his mom in Kingston so I stopped at Target,T R US and Walmarts ...the Target had a BAT the Walmart had a Serpent and TRUS has jack.

I believe that the Bazooka Trooper and Para Viper come with the Wave 11 Case. That is how my case came from BBTS. I think the case is Trakker, Scarlet, Zartan, Cobra Flint, EEL, Airborne and the 2 troops, but then again I could be wrong.

Went to the Kohls in Saratoga Springs. They had remnants of 2 cases of Wave 10. Picked up the Crock Master and the regular Wraith. They were originally $9.99 on sale for $7.99. They were also having a 2 day sale making them $6.89 a piece. At the register I asked if they price matched other stores. They said they did and I showed them my Target receipt from earlier in the day. They marked the figs down to $4.99 and then their 2 day sale percentage also kicked in on the computer, making them ring up at a low $4.24 a piece!!

Also I forgot to mention earlier in the day that Latham WM had 3 or 4 Snake Eyes w/Timber and other Wave 1 revisions. Also, made an interesting discovery at the Rotterdam WM. They had a Wave 4 Storm Shadow (Cobra) on 25th card. Left it there. Also a Snow Serpent there.

Good News!!My case from BBTS arrived today with wave 11,wave 12 and wave 6 comic packs :)

Bad News!! I also found wave 10,wave 11 and wave 6 comic packs on the same day for much cheaper >:(
Poughkeepsie Target had remnants of wave 11-maybe Gatchaman or Hudson Hunter got there first since I know you guys are close to the area- I found Cobra Flint(I will use this to make Cobra Mutt),Airborne and someone tried to hide Paraviper and Bazooka Trooper behind the low budget army tank.
Wappingers Kohls has 1 set of wave 6 comic packs Scrap Iron/Wild Bill,Hardmaster/Snake Eyes,Beach Head/Mainframe and a crapload of wave 10 I felt like hording all the paravipers and bazooka troopers but I only picked up 2 of the paravipers there should be about 4 left and about 7-8 of the other figures including BATS so if your an army builder nows a good time.It was marked $9.99 but 20%off toys and then another 15% off it was $6.79 if you want to be a real cheapo Kohls has a universal DPCI-like code for all joes they all have the same stock code so if they don't price match just buy at Target and return at Kohls.First one to get to Kohls tomorrow morning will score the new comic packs.Good Luck!!

I spoke to the person in toys at Colonie and she said that she doesn't know what she is getting in but there are like 5 trucks next week and she said that they are really stocking up on toys for Christmas. Most of the wave 11 figures weren't even on the pegs, just laying on the bottom shelf, like they were just thrown there.

Yesterday Toys R Us Kingston had 2 full cases of Wave 10 on the pegs at around closing time including the 2 BATS that go with them no Wraith varaint just regular ones.
Walmart Kingston got in the new vehicles but almost all the boxes were crushed really bad only 2 good boxes and one of the Desert Strikers had a wheel broken off.The Claw/Fang boxes had the correct drivers

Just so you know there is a revision case that comes with only 1 Mutt with the other unwanted figures thats why you don't see the other wave 10 figures

Sorry guys I went to every Target in the area today and bought out all the Ultimate Battle Packs.I want to army build the tanks lol Just kidding of course at $68 after taxes its just a little expensive.I went to the Target in Poughkeepsie after work and asked the kid in toys to pull one out for me.Make sure you find someone that has a scan gun on their belt holster otherwise they will go on their walkie talkie and ask if someone can pull it out and by then a manager might intervene.I don't understand why they give such a hissyfit for pulling "collectibles" as they call it from the back.They will probably have a black friday sale price but I didn't want to wait and go through the hassle of all the people.This was the last thing I actually had to go look for in stores now I'm done for the year.BTW this thing is a HUGE display piece I kind of don't want to open it since I got a case fresh minty box undamaged and it takes up space of an entire shelf

I was (and still am) very tired and I was dreading trying to find the perfect employee in Target to go looking for the ultimate battle pack for me. I thought I better check the Joe section first just to be safe. I pan it over....nothing, big surprise. I walk a couple of feet to see if I can find a target employee with one of the guns but there is no one. I turn back to the GI Joe aisle and there it is sitting behind the DVD packs THE BATTLE PACK!!! I was sooo darn tired I missed it the first time looking everything over. I don't know how I missed it, it's freaking huge. It was the only one there so I am not sure if that means that’s the last one or not. Made my day, am very happy. The price hurts but it's very very cool. :)

Yes it does have the cut on the top. No big deal. I tell you what, getting the stuff out of the package is a big pain in the rear.

I never had the Mobat either and it took me a little while to figure out how it works (doesn't come with batteries. It takes the really big batteries. Two of them). I really like how it works. It doesn't take away from the "play" factor like I was worried it would. I am buying another Mobat from someone here on the board so I will have two. That’s cool because I don't have to buy a whole battle pack just to get one Mobat. :)

Had to drive out to Binghamton for a family thing yesterday. I found the motherload of Wave 4 vehicles. If anybody is looking to army build them and doesn't mind a bit of a drive, the WM in Binghamton has 6 Firebats, 4 Fang/Claw sets, 5 AWE's and about 8 Hiss tanks. Most were stacked up high on the upper shelf across from the Joe section.

Also they had new 2 packs I got the mainfraim/beachhead and wildbill/scrapirn.

Hey Guys, New here. Hey for all you NYC Collectors out there. I was at TRU Times Square this week and kinda peeked into the new display they are working on at the exit where the Transformers used to be and it looked like there was a huge outline of the Cobra insignia being built behind the barriers. Can anyone confirm if they are gearing up for a Gi joe display down there? The selection has been weak there for a long time. Do you think they are holding up product to fill this speculated display? I've been looking all over for new figures and vehicles and i've been coming up short except for the comic shops which are over priced all the time. Found some at the Kmarts at Penn Sta and Astor Pl but still looking for The Fang/ Claw set and a Sharc. Help?

Man how much longer before I see more Eels on the pegs.I was hoping they would show up in full force before black friday if they come out anytime after that I know they are going to end up in the wrong hands :( along with the clear Wraith. I want to find just 1 at retail to open up.I can just picture these things being given away at Christmas as the unwanted toy from their Aunt "Esther" only to end up in the bottom of the toy chest under all their Ben 10 and Bakugan toys :( I'm kinda glad I pre-ordered my cases online even if I paid a dollar more then actual cost.
K-Mart in Poughkeepsie still had that Firebat and Desert Striker and I finally found a full set of the Last Crusade Indy Jones figures at K-Mart but expensive as hell at least I got Dr. Elsa Schneider

Thanx for the tip, got the 3 -2packs...Target had Mutt and get this ....I got a DOC for 4.99 at Target this morning!!! I saw it, went blank for a second, then realized what it was...scanned it at a price checker and it said item not found. So i asked a worker in the toy aisle and he gave me the tag off the shelf , wrote some # on the back and told me to give it to the checkout person!! Some DUMBASS must have returned it for some unknown reason?!?
