I found some great deals there!

I paid way less than eBay, as well as retail prices on everything except for 2 items.

Those 2 items were items which were never sent to major retailers, but ended up in discount stores that are not in our area. They were more expensive than retail, but cheaper than eBay.

You got the variant Red Skull in "comic" colors.

They also made variants in the same color scheme of both of the Hydra guys.

As far as the Crimson Hiss goes I should start going out and looking for one. I hope the Vamp shows up as well along with figures from POC waves 5 & 6.

I wish I could have picked up one of the tan Vamps when they had them at Ross but we don't have any in our area. Oh well.

Was out looking for Transformers today. Stopped at TRU in Wolf Rd- nothing new Joe or Transformers. Clifton Park TRU I was able to snag the last Shockwave and a Prime. They had 2 Prime and 3 Jazz figures left, but they were in a case a kid got from the back for me (I had to point it out on the top of the pallet, it was open and missing one of the Shockwaves.

Those new mini Joe Tanks were at Nisky Target. They had 2.

Also, at Rite Aid on Route 7, there is a full peg of ROC figures fro $13.99 a piece lol. A Gen. Haw, Crimson Neo Viper and a Pit Commando are the one of note

There's a Helix and a Covergirl form ROC on the peg at a local Rite-Air for $13.99. While I ascribe to the theory that one can never have enough Helix, that price is just insanity on a stick. It's not like they produced new ones and it cost more....

Also, the Toys R Us near McKinley Mall yesterday had pretty much a full complement of Retal Joes including Red Ninja and Joe Trooper, arked to $7.00. I already have two Red Ninjas so I felt it would be hoardy of me to take him, and despite all the love thrown at the Joe Trooper I think he looks.... unexceptional... at best. I also can't quite bring myself to nab another Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow, especially since neither really says "Ninja" to me, but they were there with plenty of chances to grab. Zartan was also there, but the Retal take on the character is actually far less interesting than a the other uninteresting takes on the character. I just don't care a twig about the character.

After paying bridge tolls and highway tolls it wouldn't be worth the trip just to check.

So if everyone is cool with posting about other lines, I collect the occasional Marvel Universe and Avengers figures (I'm a Joe completist but pick up only the few characters I really like from those two lines).

I haven't been hunting much lately, but on Sunday in the Latham WalMart I noticed they had 3 of the Avengers movie version Hawkeye. I'm now convinced some scalper uses that WalMart to return their unsold goods, because they had like 3 or 4 of the purple Ultimate Hawkeye one time months ago, and both of those Hawkeyes are/were hard to find.

On Monday, in Toys R Us in Clifton Park they had the remnants of the latest single and 2-pack Marvel Universe waves. I grabbed a Kraven and left the new Spidey and Hulk. For the two packs I grabbed the last Hulk-first appearance Wolverine. They also had three each of the TRUs exclusive Spidey-Rhino and FF black Spidey-silver Dr. Doom two packs. I grabbed one of each, so as of Monday there were two of each left. They also had a single Iron Man-Mandarin 2 pack.

That's all I've seen of late, but then again I haven't been looking much. At this point I'm just looking forward to the Club Figure Subscription Service figures coming out, since it seems that's the only way to fill my Joe fix. :-)

TRU Garden City has the Star wars Ewok and Yavin Pilot sets. Kind of high priced but does qualify for the bogo 50 off sale they have so not as bad now.

Picked up some Joes on clearance at Kmart today (both Clifton Park and Colonie).

Got a black AWE Striker and Fangboat for $6.40 each, and the Snake Eyes and Firefly cycles for $5.60 each. Also picked up a Roadblock for $4.

I was also really pleased that the Captain America Kmart exclusive 3-pack (blue Captain Britain, Captain America and Red Guardian) finally went on serious clearance. The set was originally $20, and I was hoping to pick one up for half-price. They were selling for $4!! (Yeah, you read that right.) Still marked at $14.99, but they rang up correctly at check-out.

So a good day of Joe (and Marvel) hunting today.

With the lack of Joes out the last couple years, or really good Joes anyway, I've been picking up Transformers. I too also picked up the 4 TMNT figures. The new ones though, not the classics. They are just too big and I would prefer they were about the size of the modern line. Just wanted the 4. No interest in the rest of the line. They do a Classic Shredder- I'm all over it.

I went to the Ollies in Kingston and finally got me the cancelled POC Ashiko Bike and Hiss Scout for $9.99 a piece that place was awesomely packed with toys for the upcoming holidays.They had a ton of the cancelled Thor wave but couldn't find Lady Sif they had all the other of the Warriors 3 and I picked up King Laufey and King Loki for $5.They had an endcap of Iron-Man 2 Cap America figs an endcap of Transformers an endcap of cancelled UFC waves found a rare 1 of 100 figure for $5 an endcap of DC stuff along with Green Lantern.They had an aisle of Mattycollector DC stuff that never sold I guess they were even still in their white mailer boxes lol

Glenville WalMart has the latest Avengers single figure wave! They had 3 Nick Fury's (I bought one, so 2 left) and at least two Chitauri's. They were not on the pegs, though, they were in an Avengers free-standing display near the toy aisles. Never thought I'd find Nick Fury at retail. Oh, there was also 1 Black Widow and 2 Hawkeyes on the pegs.

The guy that puts on the show is one of my best friends. Its a good show and a nice drive. Formerly known as the Connecticut GIJoe Show he started expanding it to other include other toys as the show begin to evolve. A lot of Joe dealers would also bring along some Star Wars and Transformers and stuff as well. There are some really good deals to be had at the show. No doubt about it. Rik Alvarez formerly of Hasbro will be there selling Transformers as will other dealers. I've seen G1 all the way up to the modern lines there. I'm going as a dealer and plan on selling some odds and ends of my collection.

I am going on a city trip to New York City (gonna be there for the Thanksgiving parade in november, woohoo!), and aside from all the touristy things to do (like being dragged to a musical on broadway :-(), I am also looking to buy some GI Joe and Star Wars stuff.
Are there any places still stocked with GI Joe Renegades / 30th stuff? Or any Retaliation and SW Vintage Collection? I was planning on visiting the TRU at Times Square; you think would it also be worthwhile to skim the K-Marts, Walgreens, TJ Maxx'es I happen upon? Is Forbidden Planet on Broadway a good place to check out?
Also are there any addresses for vintage ARAH figures and vehicles? I didn't find any vintage toy stores on Google.

We have a Dollar General here in Connecticut ( West Haven ) that has been good with restocking this Wave 1. You can usually find all 6. Depending how close you are to the state boarder... head on down or over...and after stop into New Haven for some good pizza.

Have not been able to locate wave 3 but wave 2 is plentiful in Wegmans....DG wave 2 nada, and I've looked. I think I've ripped apart every toy shelve in t.j max and marshals with in a 60 mile stretch.

TrU didn't have much....just a hiss and some motorcycles, the targets in the the area will be doing a reset on Monday or Wednesday, it all depends on the store. I've hit up several TRUs, Targets, and Wal-Marts in the Westchester/Putnam/Dutchess County area and I haven't seen any new Retaliation stuff. I've also been to 3 different TJ Maxxes and 3 different Marshalls in the last 2 weeks and only 2 had the Discount/DG repaint Joes. I bought 2 Dukes and a SS at TJM, which was all they they had, then a Cobra Trooper at Marshalls yesterday (the only other figure was one Cobra Commander which I left). I'm sure by next month the stock will be better every where as it gets closer to the movie's release.

The couple of stock managers from Target I talked to, said they were selling the past stock they pulled off the shelves way back when.....your best chance to find the new waves is if you hunt at a store that has a high turn around of product, i did the call and find out how many figures they had in stock.....I remember reading on here something of the # of figures that came per case. The one store i called had 20 in stock, all wave 1 ( found that out after i drove there ) but I had a # so I called back about a week later and they had 32 thats how i got my wave 3. hang in there to caz i guess a lot of local Walmarts are gearing up for the spring change over in a week or two and i know that the ones in my area definitely DO NOT have left over stock. So id imagine that that what ever they get going forward is the newer waves.

I just picked up an Alley Viper and Cyber Ninja at WM in Oneida, NY. They had all of wave 3 and some vehicles.

Picked up AVs at Target in Glenville and Kmart Central Ave. Picked up 2 more Coltons and a Lady Jaye as well. Glenville Target has all of Wave 3 minus Colton, Jaye and AV. Kmart on Central Ave has all but the AV...

TRU on Wolf Rd had the Dragonfly and Cutter Ship Kreo Joes... No other sets or the singles

Toys R Us in Clifton Park had a bunch of the Kreo sets out and it looks like they were stacking the shelves with more. Didn't see any singles but they may have been unpacking.

The ship, dragonfly, and law and order outpost were the ones already on the shelves.

k mart on 34th in manhattan had the flint lady jaye firefly wave seems only one of each i picked them up funny thing is lady jaye might be the hardest to find i just realized the orders on bbts none of the waves have her in it k mart also has the ripper and fang boat
toys r us times sq got more hiss tanks and night cruisers no singles but all the new stuff is on one little shelf with the kreo's also so maybe in a few days the singles will be up .
also kmart does have 50percent off on the vintage ATST not sure if its 50 off on the sticker price or the price is already the 50% off mark tempted to get one
midtown comics on lex and 45 has wave one gi joes no red ninjas or joe troopers or cobra troopers

Nothing in Target in CI except for wave 1 singles.

Found the remnants of wave 2 at the Glenville WalMart. Picked up the new Firefly and Flint. They still had a Kata Roadblock on the pegs (no sign of the new SE or SS). Also grabbed the new Flint cycle. They had a bunch more of those. They also had 2 of the new Joe 3-packs and 1 of the new Cobra 3-packs.

Found 1 case of Retaliation W3 at Brooklyn Junction. I bought Flint, Lady Jaye, Dark Ninja, Joe Colton, Alley Viper, Ninja Duel Snake Eyes and Firefly. Cyber Ninja was not on the pegs!

Left Battle Kata Roadblock, Sneak Attack Storm Shadow, Duke, Roadblock and Snake Eyes.

They also had 1 box of Tactical Ninja Team left.

Found the remnants of wave 3 at Niskayuna Target. Someone before me must have grabbed Joe Colton, Flint, and Lady Jay. I picked up the 3 cobra troopers -- Alley Viper, Cyber Viper, and Dark Ninja. SE, SS, Firefly and Kata Roadblock were all still there.

I also checked the Niskayuna Marshalls. No sign of the wave 2 DG Joes. Anyone seen any more of those figures Upstate after the one or two CG23 found??

Multiple Wave 2.5 and wave 2 cases spotted over the last few days at several wegmans that didnt stop Joes previously and at several walmarts that have finished their resets.

Anyone else notice that the Walmarts are now missing MU pegs for single figs?

Checked Target in Amherst this morning and they had some more of the wave 2 Dojo Attack three-packs (or whatever they're called...) and passed on them. I don't like buying one character you like and two you don't want or care for...

Was out in Norwich for work today and found a Steel Brigade v3A and a Cobra Trooper at Rite Aid. Also checked the Price Chopper (nothing), Dollar General (Shipwreck & Duke) and Walmart (Tread Ripper, Fangboat and a bunch of the motorcycles, no figures).
