KB in Colonie Center had 2 cases of the Wave 3 revision case including all the troopers and officers and a case of Wave 1 comic packs. I was very surprised to see anything at all KB's.


Same thing down here too. One KB by me that I normally don't go to, was overflowing with 25th Joes! I couldn't believe it!! None that I needed, but it was a cool sight.
KB is where I got most of the Wave 1 singles when they first came out. Including the SE w/Black Timber!!

Wave 2 and 3 Two Packs arrived this morning Times Square

I went to the East Meadow Walmart today and the single carded figures were still listed as $4.88 on the pegs, but they scanned up as $5.44. I asked the guy about it that was working the toy section and he wasn't aware of the change. He had this little scanner/printer attached to his hip, so he decided to print out new labels for the pegs right then and there. On a good note he hooked me up with a Cobra Legions 5-pack. It scanned up as $13.00. I'm still upset that I didn't get these for cheaper when other members were still finding them. I heard last week someone got them for $3. Oh well.

I'm still on the lookout for cheap 5-packs, so if anyone finds them please let me know.

On another note the TRU in Douglaston had a Destro, Flash, and Snow Job from Wave 5. I left them there because like always I didn't like the paint job. I wish I could go to a store which had at least 10 of every figure I need so that I can pick the best looking one. I can do that with Star Wars why not G.I. Joe as well. It's about time they started ordering and stocking more.

Went over to Westbury Target with the wife to buy a carpet. And of course, naturally, I stopped in the toy section. They had at least 5 case's of Wave 5 singles. But of course all the Snow Jobs, Crimson Guards and IG Destro's were gone. I did find a Flash tho, that I wanted to open. They also had Wave 3 comic packs but only SE/SS were left.

I just got back from a trip to the City with my fiance. The KB in the Woodbury Commons Outlets had a full case of Wave 3 Comic Packs (including both Twins packs) and 2 cases of the Wave 3 revision cases. The Walmart in Harrison Plaza (I believe that's the name of the shopping center) had the remnants of Wave 6 - one Beachead and one Serpentor. Target there had Wave 5 single packs and Wave 3 Comic Packs. TRU off of I-87 in Yonkers had nothing new and the TRU in Times Square had quite a few Wave 3 Comic Packs. This is all as of Saturday...

I noticed that too. However they also took labels down and changed labels between comic packs and single packs back when they had only a few figures at a time. It was almost like they made a new label every time they got a new shipment in based on what it was. So hopefully, they will get the exclusives in soon.

I just got back from the Atlantic Center Target in Brooklyn. They had one of each of the Wave 3 Comic Packs, except for Tomax & Xamot, and they also had Breaker & Destro and Torch & Ripper from Wave 2.

I hope Thursday's hunt in LI will have better results when looking for singles from Wave's 5 & 6.

I guess people have been tired of posting finds lately because it's been pretty much of the same figures that everyone seems to already have.

I just got back from a minor hunt and the Walmart in Valley Stream had a Battle Armor Cobra Commander and a Torpedo but both had bent cards. i left them there if anyone is interested. I'm still looking out for a good stocking of Wave's 5 & 6 to look through so I can find figures that make the cut in my book. I'm still hoping for the day when I see stores stocked with at least 10 of each figure so that I can look through them all and pick the best looking one to take home and add to my collection.

I don't understand why they would lie to you about having a product in the store. That's like saying, "please do not come in to buy our merchandise." Seems like bad business. If anything they should lie the other way and tell you that they have something even if they don't. That way they could always say that someone bought it while you rode over, but at that point they'd have you in the store, which means you might buy something else.

Anyway, have you checked Clifton Park? CG said they had one of each set a couple of days ago.

So I went over to Target with my bro and picked up 2 Crimson Guards and my bro picked up Wv4 Duke, Wv4 Storm Shadow, Wv5 Snake Eyes and a Wv1 Hooded CC. They still had alot when I left. The other ones you mentioned were still there, as well as 2 or 3 cases of the Wave2/3 revision.

Glad to see that you actually found some Crimson Guards RedEyes. I still have an extra one that I was holding onto for a trade with someone on these boards. I think I'm going to return it to the store now since they seem not to be as rare anymore. I'm not a troop builder so I have no use for it.

I would have traded it for a figure I needed (like a Storm Shadow Joe version from Wave 1 carded) or one that might have looked better than I already had (such as the extra Zartan you have RedEyes because mine has cuts and nicks all over him)

I've actually been getting annoyed with searching for the perfect figure. I keep finding paint app issues with all of them. The other day I finally broke down and began to open my figures for display that I've been saving until I found a worthy replacement. I've been making touch up's here and there with Sharpie markers and paint markers. For instance I had to color the top of Stalker's left boot because it wasn't colored all the way up to the top in black like the right one was, so they didn't match and it looked ugly.

Even when you do find a figure you might think looks "perfect" you can't see everything while it's in the package. I just opened up a Crimson Guard and I was upset when I saw that the spur on the back of its right heel was broken off and missing.

Ah, damn. Yeah they probably put them out Saturday. Douglaston tends to do that since Saturday is clearly their busiest day. Anyway, hopefully their still for ya. I think they might be open tomorrow, probably not all day though.

I snagged the fixed hawk, D/B, and a trooper.
They did have a ton of PTE/Corps sets. It seems they're slapping the sets together under their house brand.

Will do! I called Westbury Target yesterday. I asked for customer service and gave the lady the DCPI number. She said they came up in the system, but none were in stock. She also checked all the surrounding Targets, and it was the same thing for them also.
I'm going to be calling them all week long starting Monday.

After I saw your post, I called the Hicksville Target. The girl said they have 3 cases. Then she said, I'll go get you a case and it'll be waiting for you at guest sevices. So I went out to Target and there it was! Also used the $5 off coupon!

So, to Wobbles, Scoop or whoever is looking for these. Call them up, they should still have 2 cases. I'm also thinking some of the other Targets might have them also. It's def worth a try!

I know the feeling. I hate when I miss out on checking the sightings thread. Definitely call them though. If the Hicksville Target doesn't have any, just ask them to check the surrounding Targets for what your looking for. They'll be able to tell how many cases each Target store has, so you don't have to drive all over Long Island like a madman.

Hey if any of you local guys are looking into vehicle building as you would with troop building, and you don't need extra drivers, such as Crankcase, and Grand Slam, please let me know.

I want the figures, but I don't want the vehicles. I haven't bought any as of yet, and I'm not sure I want to. If you bought extras just for the vehicles, please let me know if you are willing to sell your extra drivers.

Also if anyone has opened these vehicle packs please let me know if the figures come with stands or not.

Ok so i got my 3 from the target in hicksville around 1pm, after I had to go through 3 people.
First let me say that westbury didnt have any in the cpu system as of 4pm yesterday, I had a friend call a few stores and he said westbury was the only one who didnt dick him around. But unfortuneatly the guy said check back early next week or this weekend. I beleive it as i was there yesterday. Now I called valley stream (as did my friend) on my lunch break, and they hung up on both of us. Instantly on me as my friend called them an hour earlier and gave the woman the dcpi # and when i started to read it i heard click.


I then called hicksville and the woman was friendly but said no, now since i was half way there I said f it and went anyway, typed it into the system. it said stock room yes. Asked the guy workin the toy aisle he said the computer was broken and that it doesnt know whats actually in stock, i took his stuttering and awful excuse as a lie, and walked around to find someone else, i saw an 18 yr old stocking bbqs and he typed it in to his scanner, it came upa s 1 left in stock and he got it for me. So I think I got the last one in hicksville... HOWEVER just cause u call in and the employees tell u they dont have anything doesnt mean their not lying, see if u cant find somebody to go back to the room for u and check if the computer clearly says its in stock. I got another friend who does collect joes so ill still be on the hunt and ill keep you guys posted with what i find... i usually get to westbury target ~9-10 on saturdays and check like, every other day at lunch.

Oh and my hiss tank was sort of scuffed up on the paint job but i took it as, well, to save my own personal sanity. (Also got a black snake eyes at carl place tru, only single carded fig they had. Hes pretty sweet in all black and i didnt have that version so yay!)

yea i just finished opening my guys and was sort of disappointed to see no stands or weapons... weapons are ok since i have like 15 spare ak-47s from the nightwatch troops and air drop troops but a lack of base is a little upsetting, the awe striker is also extremely difficult to fit people in to the seats... i managed to do it, but honestly i am not sure if crankcase is ever going to leave the seat. with that being said i am not really looking foward to trying to squish these joes in to the armadillo or vamp when they come out in the 2 packs

The Night Spectre is easiest to fit the fig in, i propped grandslam up on his elbows and he looked right at home, with the hiss tank cockpit try and slouch the driver in a bit with his knees bent, it seemed to work fine for me, as for the awe striker, try to make the guys feet as straight as possible with the leg so they can slide between a gap in the plastics, one foot may pop out by the wheel tho, and if u look for it u can see it. i tried to fit to people in the awe striker but they dont sit comfortable their shoulders and elbows kind of prevent them from sitting straight up and are leaning towards the sides.

also my friend got a case from the target out by adventure land.. wherever that is i guess farmingdale? he said they had 10 in stock when he talked to the guy. Yeah, true. Westbury is weird sometimes. For weeks and weeks, they'll have nothing and out of the blue their fully stocked with just about everything. That store is definitely hit or miss. Hey man, unfortunately there's no Target in Times Square. There is the huge Toys R Us though. Which has a pretty big section for G.I Joe.
All the Target stores are mostly in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island. The majority of them are in Long Island. That's probably the best bet for finding G.I Joe's, since there's a bunch fairly close to each other. Hope this helps!

Hmm, well in the city there's a ton of comic book shops to check out. Like Forbidden Planet. I know they carry some 25th Joes. But other then TRU. There's not really any "big name" retail places to go. She might be able to find a couple of Targets in New Jersey though. Or maybe even Staten Island. I'm not too sure on that though, since I don't really go over there. You should also check out Target.com. Use the store locater, it might help her get a better idea of where they are. I was just at that TRU in Douglaston and I also saw the same 5-pack with the missing Snake Eyes. That was the first time I've seen the TRU 5-packs, but I don't want them anyways.

I did see this new Wave 1 & Wave 2 revision at Targets in College Point, Valley Stream and in the Gateway Target in Brooklyn. Unfortunately I did not see any Flints or Snake Eyes (fixed crotch) & Timber. I did pick up a Storm Shadow and Lady Jaye. They both look kinda ugly to me so I will be returning them for replacements as soon as I find more.

Talk about returning figures, I have the following figures that I will be returning soon if anyone local to me is interested.

I live in Queens too and I feel your pain, but take this into consideration. We do live in the "financial district" of the world, and also one of the most populated areas of the world. We have about 20 million people here. Lets say 10 thousand are Joe fans (that's just a crazy guess). So we are fighting amongst so many people for these figures. Now if you lived in some low populated area of 1000 people in a town in Iowa, you might be the only Joe fan so all the figures would be yours for the picking.

Make some friends on here and we can look out for each other and try to beat those scalpers at their game or cleaning out the stores of Joes. If there are figures that you are looking for post them here and we will see what we can do to get you some. We can make trades, or you can just purchase them from us.

I hope this can help you out a bit in securing your troops.

I must've gotten to the Times Square TRU a few seconds before Blacqsmith. I got a Grunt 3 pack, left cobra and cg. The CG was some sort of restock frankenstein, it had two regular cg troopers instead of one trooper and one officer. Additionally, the plastic bubbles the figures were in were from the Cobra set, so, like I said, someone bought it and returned it with a CG switcheroo, or one heck of a factory error.

TRU Times Square seems to be putting out one or two of these a morning, so get there as soon as they open if you're in NYC and want to have a slight chance of getting the 3 packs.

Had to go up North today, so i figured I check a few places.

-Wilton Walmart had about 3 cases of Wave 4, plus a few peg warmers. It was nice to actually see full pegs! Also some Wave 3 Comic Packs.

Hey, believe it or not that was me ;-) I was pointed to this thread by a friend who reads it religiously - it's nice to meet another collector in the Ithaca area - I too sometimes think that it's just me and several ambitious scalpers....glad (hope) to hear that's not the case!

Yeah, I was lucky to score those, and it was especially great because I still wanted to pick up the four new 12" Indiana Jones figures, and they paired up great with the target coupon - free wave of joes! I actually stayed up late last night and got the whole wave 7 posted to my site (http://www.parrygamepreserve.com/toys/giJoe/25th/) but I guess they've been posted elsewhere on the internet for ages now. I'm sure you'll snag a set soon, and maybe we can collaborate on local hunts in the future.

geez, I went all over the place Saturday night and found nothing. Colonie Target (by Wolf Rd) had a left over Grand Slam w/ the Spectre and that dune buggy I can never remember the name of.

The damage carded Torpedo was gone Saturday nite @ Nisky Target. The Walmart on Washington Ave Ext. has Armored CC, IG Destro, Rock N Roll and a few other ho hum figs.

No Crimson TRU 3 pack....again....or anything else worth the money.

Other than those sightings it was a dry run. No Vipers or Hiss Drivers. Granted I pre-ordered from the Club but need some infantry dang it.

Hopefully better luck tomorrow....

Do you ever check in with the Cicero WalMart up north of Syracuse? It's a little bit of a drive, I guess, but they're huge and often have lots of stuff other stores don't. Yea I stopped by Glenville WM this afternoon and they were in the middle of a reset. Also, I was just at Rotterdam WM and they randomly had 4 pallets of toys out at 730 pm but NO Joes.

I also noticed while I was at Price Chopper that they had some Wave 3 comic Packs for $8.98 with advantage card. That price is good until July 15 I believe. No spots for single figures though. Two CG Commander packs were there.

Nope, it's just a regular WM. Usually a pretty crappy one too when it comes to the toy dept. I was really surprised to find them there. For awhile it didn't seem that they were carrying Joes at all.

Valley Stream WM Had about 4 jokers last friday night around 930, they are running one per case, also.. the joker henchmen i noticed the evidence has varients on the masks with them, in case ur in to that thing. Joker isnt too hard i also found one of the 6" in carle place tru and the tru in massapequa last week, so they were around, and im sure u'll find more of them. no joes in target or walmart in westbury tonight, nor in the target at the atlantic avenue mall as i was there for something with work. I have a feeling these things will hit with MUCH better numbers soon enough though. My only concern is hows my will power and can i last long enough for the bbts to send their stuff oout.
