Was at my local 5 and dime store Fat Alberts and they had several 25th figures for 4.99 and 30th figures for 7.99, also a ton of poc and roc vehicles for about retail.
Also they had a shit ton of Transformer ROTS and RTS stuff, nothing of great importance, but they do have voyager class constructicons and those are pretty sweet looking.

Huntington, LI TRU is stocking 30th. I cleaned them out of what they had left there yesterday--except for two dukes. They also have plenty of vamps and dragons if you haven't found them yet. It might be a good place to check back for 30th as I haven't seen the figures stocked at any other TRU in Suffolk County.

Funny, I picked that up around 7pm before even seeing this!

So I also checked out the Marvel Universe figs, and looked down and on the top of the lower shelf was an X-Force 3 pack (Wolverine, Deadpool and Warpath). Anyway, I looked closer and noticed the Deadpool had been swapped out for some blue and gold figure! Wolverine's claws and legs below the knees had also been swapped out for other parts. An older woman stocking shelves walks by and so I stop her and politely tell her that it was a repack, and she starts arguing with me! No kidding!! I was as polite as can be the whole time and spoke with her for like 3 or 4 minutes explaining that something was wrong with it, showed her 2 good ones to compare to, and showed her the picture on the back didn't match the figures in the front. In the end she was even more annoyed and said, "I never look at these things" and said she'd take it to the back. :-)

Wal-Mart does not care. She probably put it back on the shelf right after you walked away. I showed a repack of a Star Wars figure i found to an employee. It was a vintage figure that he the original figure in it's place, and it was obviously not the right one. The woman said thanks and put it back as quick as she took it from me.

They probably would have offered you only 10%, whcih would definitely not be worth it. I found a 2 Marvel Legends Winter Soldier/Black Widow regular versions and both were missing the short hair head for Widow, the alternate head for Winter Soldier, and Widow's black hands. One of them actually had the grey variants hands. Wanting to get them for customizing potential, I asked someone at the service desk and they said they could do only 10%, which was a joke.

Someone did for sure LOL. I found a full case of Wave 3 minus the SS at the Saratoga WM a while back. He was the only fig missing, which I found odd. Then I found some remnants of a case of Wave 3 at the East Greenbush WM. All the sightings since have been of Wave 4 I believe...

TRUs in the Bronx (Bay Plaza AND Bruckner) have had no new Joes since Christmas. One in Yonkers had a case right before Christmas, but was quickly gone - don't bother with that one for a good while.

Two Walgreens in the area near the Yonkers TRU though had a Lifeline and Law & Order, so I'm guessing they'll be getting them more frequently soon. I'm never going to get my hands on that Storm Shadow ._.

If you collect Marvel Universe their pegs were full of the new wave with psylocke, storm and daredevil. They also had full pegs of the Avengers movie figures. No Hawkeye, though, I think he'll make a great addition to the Joe universe. Just can't decide if he should be a Joe or Cobra...

Picked up a Storm Shadow (!!!!) and another Techno-Viper from the Clifton Park Toys R Us around 8pm. They had another Techno-Viper and all the others (Scarlett, Tunnel Rat, ...) from wave 3. Very pleasantly surprised.

Thanks, I was really surprised! I didn't even go out with the intention of hunting, I just happened to be driving by and figured what the heck, I'll pop in for a sec. Makes all the disappointing hunting trips to Target and Wal-Mart worth it.

New York commuters arriving at Grand Central Station will soon be greeted by a monstrous sight: a 48-foot-long, 2,500-pound titanoboa snake. The good news: It's not alive. Anymore. But the full-scale replica of the reptile -- which will make its first appearance at the commuter hub on March 22 -- is intended, as Smithsonian spokesperson Randall Kremer happily admitted, to "scare the daylights out of people" -- actually has a higher calling: to "communicate science to a lot of people." The scientifically scary-accurate model will go a long way toward that: If this snake slithered by you, it would be waist-high and measure the length of a school bus. Think of it as the T-rex of snakes. This newly discovered species, known as titanoboa (yes, the words "titan" and "boa" are in there), which lived 65 million years ago, is about to have its close-up. The New York City appearance is promoting an exhibit at the Smithsonian Institute's National Museum of Natural History in D.C. opening on March 30, which ties in to a TV special on the Smithsonian Channel called, what else, "Titanoboa: Monster Snake." The two-hour program airs April 1.
