I think they had a couple of pegs of Corps figures ... because I figured that the Joes would be in that section and surprised that they weren't. Not a big Corps collector, so no clue as to what figures that they might have had.

For the record, I replaced O-rings for the first time this weekend. I almost (note almost) wept at the difference. I even called my father (who is in his 80's) and told him what I was doing. See, back in the day, my father tried fixing some of my Joes with small rubber bands that we would find. Neither of us were on the ball to think of using an actual washer. His response? "Are you trying to make me feel bad for using rubber bands?" I had to tell him that just the attempt that he made to fix them was enough to make me happy.

Seeing Rays Sideshow Joe pics got me to thinking about them. I'm still on the fence about the Sideshow stuff. It looks great but I'm just not ready to take that plunge. The Viper has me interested, but I'm still waiting to see how the Cobra Commander with helmet turns out. If they get it right I'm in.

I did break down and order some loose Sideshow Joe stuff. Cobra Commanders laser pistol and some Joe Team Laser rifles. I gotta say they did a good job on those items. Using them for my Adventure Team. A modern update to that old rifle with scope.

I passed on Flint despite loving the character, the face just did absolutely nothing for me. I broke down and got Beachhead because he looked awesome and he was. That was going to be it for me, but then I heard that they were going to do Hawk - who is right up there as far as my favorites - but ... he just didn't look right. Much like how I felt with Flint. Plus the leather jacket just didn't look all that great. It looked like fabric. So I passed. I am prob going to be a one-and-done as far as Sideshows....

Unless they release a Clutch.....

Stopped by a Target in Cheektowaga, and finally found a restock. There were 2 Skydives, 2 Lowlights, 2 "2-headed" SE, and a Shock Trooper (with a very beat up but otherwise intact card). Grabbed one of each. This is after months of seeing nothing but Arctic Destro there. Even found a Firefly and Beachhead there, which I know wasn't there 2 weeks ago.

First time I've seen this new wave in the area, so it might be worth it to start vamping up the search in your areas.

I did find a Wave 4 Destro crammed all the way behind the Joe clearance section in the Toy section in the WM in Queensbury. Only one I spotted. I then decided to see if there was a Toy clearance section near the garden center, which they had one long aisle. What did I find there, one lonley Joe: A Shadow Tracker in all its glory lol! Was happy to find him for sure and the Destro was a def. plus!

Also, I punched in the DPCI for the Skystriker in the Target price checkers and it's in there. None in stockrooms yet obviously.

Hey all - just an FYI. For those who haven't been out and about lately, the Captain America figures as well as the GL figures are starting to hit the shelves.

I bought just the WW2 Cap (I don't know what his technical name is). I am not overly impressed. The plastic used seems very bendable especially in the knee joint area. The figure is nice to look at but it just seems to have odd angles.

I haven't seen anything new Joe-related of late. I know this is hard to believe but the Target in Colonie had literally nothing but Artic Destros and one Zartan. It has to be someone who bought cases and just returned the figure. It has to.

btw, wave 2 Captain America at that store. Cracked open the case, put Red Skull on the top peg, was almost going to buy him but decided not to. Rest of the open case was on the pallet. They'll probably put it out.

These Cap figs are odd...everyone complained about the legs on the WWII cap, but mine were fine...the Red Skull...eh..his articulation is odd...swivel waist and NO ANKLE articulation...short too but he fits in well behind CC ,next to Doom...Crossbones though...WOW. This guy is BIG. GREAT fig...weapons are sturdier than the other guys too...

Stopped at the Watertown WM on the way home from camping today. They had one Crazy Legs and I managed to find one IG stashed randomly in the aisle. Also of note they had 7, yes 7, Shock Troopers on the pegs! It was a nice sight and very unnatural feeling to leave them there lol.

Also stopped at the New Hartford and Utica WMs and they each had pegs for Joes but no figs... The pegs however had the Joes listed for $1! I have a pic that I can upload tomorrow. Any of you central NY guys notice this??? Stock up if and when they get some in!

Cobleskill, oneonta walmart have not place for joes and none in stock. Scotia has spots and no joes again as well. What is the deal with walmart?

Congrats on the Rolling Thunder. I did the same thing with the tactical battle platform. Got it for a great price but didn’t realize there was so much stuff missing. Good luck on building it up to complete condition.
