Colonie Target is the repackers heaven. 2 of the Target 4packs have no Snake Eyes at all. 1 Duke "kitbash" carded and the purple pilot w/ black Claw target exclusive, one of 'em has different lower legs. This guy is a jerk. I was almost tempted to buy it until I saw it. Just pisses me off.

Anyway, Wash Ave walmart has Joes for $6.00 which may be old news. Had lots of PP Baroness, the Cut up Storm SHadow.

Nothing at the Marshalls in Nisky. Still no snake armor. Can't wait to see what the repacker does to that. I would like to run him over with my car.

Saw these in the Halfmoon and Glenmont walmart stores in the past week or 2. Did snag the Artic Snake Eyes and another Paraviper for the goggles at Scotia. Artic Snake Eyes is totally lame. Should have just bought one of the gazillion Shipwrecks I've been passing on for months. Gotta say the $5 almost got me to buy a whole bunch...almost.

Thinking I'm just going to stick to the Store Exclusive sets from Target/Walmart, and I would think these stores would be putting them out with the DVD release of the movie and Resolute tomorrow. Have a wierd feeling Resolute is going to be a pain to find tomorrow.

So I went pallet diving tonight. And found a ton of the Battle Stations. I only picked up the Roadblock set, but might have to get the Tele Viper one. These look pretty awesome in person. That was East Meadow and Westbury Walmart. I also found a wave 5 revision case at Valley Stream. Picked up the CS Snake eyes!

Yeah mostly all Walmarts have been getting those PDQ shipper displays.I have been grabbing $5 Paravipers and Pit Commandos from those things they're usually hidden away from the actual Joe aisle.Only thing I want now is that City Strike SE and those Walmart sets, hopefully they pop up before Black Friday I hate looking in stores during the holiday shopping season

I went a little crazy and bought 6 of 'em. 1 of each and an extra Cobra Port and GIJOE w/ Roadblock one. They got 4 cases in all. I put some to the shelf for the girl in toys. The Extra Cobra Port and Roadblock set are behind the Star Wars laser guns...hint hint...

Thanks Ray. I managed to find 1 Serpent Armor at the Amsterdam Target this morning. Also picked up an Air Viper. Still one of each there except the Armor, with none listed as "in stockroom." Also at the WM there, there are about 3 of each of the new exclusive battle stations on an end cap.

the 2 for 9.99 they have a good amount of eels and some of the basic figures and a crap load of bbq didnt see benchpress then again they might of had alot of newer ones since most of the pegs where kinda empty on top but theres a bin in front where the registers are and they have a crap load dumped in there i seen snake eyes , storm shadow cc , destro eels crimson vipers helix , eels ice vipers so if you want to troop build those they do have a decent amount i bought six figures came out to about 27.00 and that sro pack for 14.00 which wasnt bad if i had more cash i would of bought more was mainly looking for elite vipers

Wave 2 alpha vehicles hit Latham WalMart in force. Makes me feel dumb for ordering the Snarler Cycle from HTS and paying shipping. Picked up a Charbroil, though.

They also had the exclusive battle stations. I got an Outpost Defender, but be careful, there was another there that was missing both the laptop and Roadblock's ammunition case. Who steals these things??? Pathetic.

Also grabbed the last Snake Armor from Latham Target. They still have two of the Wet-Suit w/ Devil Fish exclusives, which looked pretty tempting to me. I may end up back there sometime soon.

Indiana Jones figures cheap!

"Big D Store" in Manhattan on 14th Street near 6th Ave has Indiana Jones Walmart 3 packs, Temple Trap and Indy with Horse set, each for $6 ea.

ADDITION: Also went to Toy Tokyo over the weekend, and they still have:
a) FOREIGN (I'm guessing Japanes?) comic packs, in a special display case, with price tags in the hundreads: Dreadnok with comic, mip, maybe $125, Destro with comic more than that, each asian, and others.
b) VvV cobra set, Viper pit set, more recent multipacks, all evenly about $45, I think. Also some 25th carded figs.
c) Toys from other lines, including Star Wars, some old or unusual and priced accordingly.

Several suggestions:

Toy Tokyo, second avenue and seventh street, is probably the most inteeresting. When I was there the otehr day they had a bunch of stuff, including Valor V Venom multipacks for like $40, 25th figs for $15, and, a separate special display of GI Joe FOREIGN comic packs for a hundred bucks or more each. Most of the store is devoted to various other action figures, more 12 inch, but all sizes. But they do also have a variety of Star Wars figures, including some expensive or weird ones. Well worth a look.

St. Marks Comics is a very short walk away. Not as dramatic, but some non-current figures as well as current ones and, of course, comics, including a large selection of old ones. Forbidden Planet is maybe less than 1/4 mile from there: expensive but fairly nice range of current action figure or sci-fi toys and wide range of current comics. (not many old ones anymore though). Then there's Toys R Us at Times Square which has the joe figures in an area behind their HUGE, growling, life-sized, Tyranossaurus Rex. ...

Toy Tokyo is the best, but you won't find too many bargains there. In addition to St. Marks comics, you might want to check out some of the other comic shops, particularly Forbidden Planet (a little north, at 13th and Broadway), Jim Hanleys' Universe (across from the Empire State Building on 33rd street) and Midtown Comics (just south of Times Square at 40th street and ... sixth avenue, I think). Honestly, though, toy collecting in New York is hard, with hardly any toy store and, like, a million people you're in competition with. Most collectors I know go the online route for the bulk of their stuff, but sometimes you find some gems. Basically, if you see a comic shop, go in. You never know what you'll find.

Jack's World (below Herald Square): bilingual generic backed (Canadian?) GI JOE figures (Ripper and Python), approx $4 each. Also superhero figure sets.

There used to be a few toy stores that sold older stuff on the cheap. Love saves the day was right next to Toy Tokyo and had lots of older stuff. There also used to be one or two toy stores down by Bleeker street. Most of the better ones are now out of business. Collecting in NYC is not easy and Toy Tokyo is ridiculously over priced.

Walmart in Scotia has some toys in wierd spots, there are a TON of the SW walkers (ATST?) over in a new toy isle by pets. I believe its the game isle has the Outpost Defender, Surveillance Port ect on the top shelf, in addition to whats in the Joe isle. Hmmm, I smell pie...Nisky Target 5am tomorrow with fingers crossed for Snake Armor:)

Stopped by Middletown at Target at 10:50pm and noticed they restocked with more wave 1 excvlusives lol but surprised to find 1 Snake Armor just sitting in the middle of the mix waving at me of course I bought it and picked up a $4 Dark Knight dvd.Walmart in Middletown had unpacked 1 case of wave 2 vehicles I bought the Snarler Cycle I might go back for the Mantis.

Snagged some Snake Armor in Colonie tonight. There were a bunch of sets messed up. Almost made me want to not buy anything. Loaded it all up in my arms and handed it to a kid who works there, showed him what was messed up with them and he said he was going to put them in the back for the manager to see. I did come away with some Snake Armor so I'm pretty happy about that. That basically means I'm done. Nothing else I'm looking for. Might need to pick up some extra Snake Armor for some customizing, and I like the Viper Commando that comes with it. Nothing new in Nisky Target. Brooklyn Targets had remnants of Wave 2 -- I bet they were put out on Friday. Only Jetpack w/Air-Viper and Wet-Suit w/Dragonfish.

Single-carded still clogged up to Wave 3. No signs of Wave 4-5.

I put the City Strike Snake Eyes to the left of the GIJOE pegs by the Star Wars figures. They are hanging on a peg hook right behind the big metal pole that is in the isle. Hopefully that'll help someone.

There is still one Red Fang Ninja and one black-tattooed Night Adder (I picked up one of each), as well. The Joes were also priced at $4.99.

Fishkill Walmart got in a ton of Joes this morning mostly wave 5 cases.A lot of City Strike Snake Eyes,Jungle Ripcords,City Strike Duke,Arctic Threat Stormshadow and Desert Vipers galore.I picked up a few more Desert Vipers another CS SE to customize and some random figures for parts.They also got in way too much of Star Wars for those looking I picked up some for custom parts also.Better get these early before the masses come in for that last minute toy push
K-Mart in Mahopac has the Pit HQ on clearance for $50 and stacked by electronics.SOme $4.99 Joes but nothing good.They did have the variant packaging of the Snarler Cycle with Rollbar standing up and the variant packaging of the Mantis' Aqua Viper with the helmet on

I saw one about a month ago at the Walgreens in Amsterdam. Left it there because of the $11 cost. I believe we haven't seen these just like we haven't seen any Kamakuras because they are in the same case. This case hasn't seen wide distribution I guess. The other figs from that wave that we have found most be parts of revision cases IMO.

I was doing a little last minute Xmas shopping Saturday night and Clifton Park Target & TRU didn't have anything new. A CS SE, maybe a Helix, trying to recall if anything else stood out. TRU had a endcap hanger with Joes on it over in the book section as well as a back endcap a couple aisles down from where they normally are. I think Scotia WM had a Red Ninja. The Target in Nisky was pretty bare except for the usual. Not much else to report.

The Queensbury Wal-Mart has ROC waves 1 through, the wave with Resolute/City Strike Snake Eyes in it for the wonderful $5 Wal-Mart everyday sale price. Wilton Wal-Mart is pretty much the same.

The Wilton Target on the other hand, has some good selection (if your like wave 1 and 6) for the price of $6, Not bad, but not good. I have also seen wave 2 deluxe figures at Target for $10. Still no wave 2 or 3 Echo class vehicles.

At Queensbury Toys r' us, the have the Attack on the Gi Joe Pit, the Cobra 5-pack a bunch of figures (mainly wave 1 and 2) including Bench Press and the Snow Serpant and a few leftover 25th Anniversary figures, Tripwire, Cartoon Cobra Commander and Greenshirts & Firefly, Crimson Guard 5-packs.

I plan on checking the Queensbury and the Ballston Spa Aldi's to see if I can find any $3.50 ROC's.

I picked up a couple of Night Ravens as a result of the TRU $19.99 sale. I figured it was worth it. Nice design, plenty of stickers, but (come on, you knew there was going to be a but) kinda felt screwed that a) the landing gear wheels don't move and b) the missle firing "loader" makes the hull seem flimsy. Oh, and no machine guns? Not even a couple of small ones? I know its a sub/super sonic plane but still.

Went to the Target store in Farmingdale, NY and was disappointed. There are very few ROC figures left - I believe they have been cut to $5. Some PITs ($99 still) and Rhinos, which I wanted, but were still at $49. Picked up a Serpeant Armor, the last one, and they had the obligatory Grand Slams and Air Vipors for $9.99. Otherwise, that was it. Really disappointed on the Rhino, was hoping for $35.....maybe will get marked down.

Fishkill Walmart picked up Marvel Universe Gigantic Battle Yellow Goliath for $13.They have those ugly Ninja Battles for $9 I don't collect Star Wars but I found a slave Leia to use her body for my Joe females.Peekskill Walmart I picked up 3 Battle Stations for $7.48 a piece they have a ton of Ravens for $19 they also had a slave Leia all of these were in Lawn and Garden as a secondary seasonal/toy section.Also picked up exclusive Joe 2-packs for $6.98 a piece and I found a Star Wars Turbo Tank for $50 they also had these Evolution sets for 50% off.

Fishkill Walmart finally found their Battle Stations.There was about 6 cases I could see on her Push cart and about 8 cases of ROC singles I didn't read what wave.I kindly asked if I could buy 1 case she was hoping I would buy them all since she wanted to get rid of them because they were clearance.I just bought the case and another LAW.Sad thing is looked like she was pushing the cases back into the stockroom because she didn't see any space on the salesfloor.I'm sure once I post this someone will buy them all out.

Wow, Nisky Target is the pits for Joe stuff. Nothing new. The 'then/now' set is marked down to like $17 but I'm still not biting. Buddy in CT scored a couple for $6. I'll wait for that. Same with the goofy thing with the helicopter that I can't remember the name of. Its down to like $24 but its gotta go deep clearance for me to think about that. Wish the PoC (now is that persit of cobra or piece of crap?) line will hurry up and hit and run its course so we can get to cool stuff like the 25th line again.
