MIB 3 4'' Figures

just seen these today and im pretty surprised by how nice they looked. they're 4" and the likeness are pretty good. im not a big mib fan but i was looking at these with customizing in mind. to get mass retail 4" figs in suits is fantastic and it means trying not to hunt down sdcc destro's every time i want to make a custom

I wonder if the articulation is as bad as the new Pirates figures Jakks made?

Swivel shoulders/hips and hinge elbows/knees need to go away. I need articulation that allows J to get giggy with it

As I mentioned in the thread this morning discussing the exact same thing, I hope Jakks does better than they did with the Pirates figures. I'm not a fan of cut swivel and pin/hinge joints.

Should be soon I would think. I don't imagine these are as tightly under wraps as a new Star Wars line would be so hopefully there is no hard street date and when stores get them then they put them out.

I plan to buy a bunch too. There are a bunch of customs I would like to do with figures wearing suits. I would have bought the shit out of the Faceman figure from The A-Team line but those only showed up at a Target around here and they only had one. I also just like Men In Black so I'll buy a set to keep intact as well.

Went hunting today and found the new 3.75 MIB 3 figures. I have been looking forward to these since they were announced. In my Joeverse The President is Bruce Wayne and until now the dio I had set up I used the Renegades fiugres as the special Presidential Guard. Also in my Joeverse the President has rides around in a Escalade mostly due to the fact I cant find a 1:18th scale limo. The MIB guys look great next to the joe and other same scale figures. I kept Agent O'Hara on the Presidential team as she carries the "football" everywhere the President go. I gotta say I love the MIB 3 guys and have plans for customs when I find more of them.

They are sweet. The suit jackets are a soft plastic giving a wide range of motion. Also all it takes is a exacto and a little cut to "unbutton" the jacket and slip it off. Good articulation. The heads will take work to swap since Jakks makes these and they use the WWE/UFC 3.75 style joints to attach the head. I already have a idea for a CIA Duke figure from the joe comic relaunch years ago.(cant remember what company put out the comic). I love these guys and have now made a list of customs that I am planning. BTW, I found these at TRU. I called Jakks a week ago and they told me that Target and TRU would carrying these but not Walmart.

it would take some work but I dont see why you couldnt. They would have to be glued and supported since the neck joint is different than joes.

I saw these late last week at my local TRU. In person they look OK and could be used for filling in a diorama or something. They didn't seem as bulky in real life as they do in pics.

Since toysrus is the only place I've seen them I think it may be a while before they come down in price. Maybe when them movie hits they'll start rolling into walmarts and targets- that's probably the only chance to grab a bunch of agents on clearance

They'll be marked up to 12.99 right before moving to the clearance section and getting a price drop to $10.00 That seems to be the toysRus way of doing things around here :)
