Don't embellish or try to impress, just be honest. We just want a snapshot here, figuratively or literally. If you can post actual pics, that would make it more fun.

and those mini-z's are awesome! i bought one back in 2002. ae86 (yup i'm a drifter!) have a few hop-up parts on it, but i just dug it out of a box and might get some new upgrades... these things have a HUGE aftermarket parts following here in japan!


also gung.heaux, god bless you for getting a KT droid. i would have but they sold out so fast. such a tragic story... :(

not so much a convert, always loved, collected both. already have what i want ie. vintage joes and the 25th's brought me back to buying again! now they join my ongoing takara masterpeice collection. the only thing holding me back really is the inability to find them. there is deskyop space waiting...

i've been racing mini-z's since 2001 and have been admin for www.mini-zracer.com for years now. i too have all the initial d drift cars as well as some of the movie cars like back to the future and batman. i actually have a n.i.b. initial d ae86 ready set, original release! it's the crown jewl of my mini-z collection.

heh, next to my monitor i've got 25th Beachhead cuz he's my favorite so far of the 25th Anniversary figures ~ to my right is my MacPro with my 25th Cobra troops: all 3 trooper variants, Officer, Airborne, Stinger Driver, 84 Storm Shadow, Destro, Baroness and Hoodie Commander. to my left on the very corner of my desk is the DTC Night Ops Hummer with the 25th joes ~ the 5 pack: Stalker and Shipwreck will hopefully join them soon.

Well, here's my latest 'experiment'.......I wanted to incorporate Destro's best features with the two best figures.....so here's what I came up with.......

Wild Weasel is here because he had a crack in his right boot.....so he 'got the glue'....and it's setting, so that I can paint over the 'whitening effect'......also something I just did tonight........

Thank you for the offer, but I'm not one of those collectors who can afford to buy multiples for trade....I buy only one of each major character....and I'm a bit too fond of them to get rid of any......color me crazy!!

As for the Destro switch, to me the original Destro is the ultimate version.....but I do like the chest and cape of this version...I wish that the silver head would fit on the gold one's body, but no such luck.....
But this will do......now I've got customs of Destro, Cobra Commander, Dr. Mindbender and that Major Bludd (who while he looks like a reject from the Village People, is used as the 'combat instructor' for the Cobra legions....look for an upcoming dio story...;) )

I really like this one. What'd you name him again? He looks like a high-level officer. Reminds me of one of the stock Cobras in the background of the early issues of the Marvel comic.

You didn't have to sand anything down for this, did you? Makes me regret trading my Interrogator V3.
