Chaplin Wal-Mart willl get tons & then be dry, then will get 8 cases again, blow them out in a few days...then be dry again for weeks. It's a hot spot when you actually hit it right. All Wave 3 by the way, they have never recieved any Wave 2. Even at the Mass Wal-marts I have only seen Wave 3... Target & TRU seem to get Wave 2 once in a while though. As of yesterday EVERYWHERE was empty except for TRU with the Original 5-Pack resets...

Ya I checked TRU and Target. Your right about Warwick too. Checked Seekonk yesterday too. For some reason even though Wal-mart in the RI/Southeasern Mass area have them on order they don't get them in and when they do its one or two cases. This area justs seems to suck for single and comic pack availability. I've found waves 1 through 5 buts it has been piece by piece. I only found wave 2 comic packs because they came into my store. I have heard there is good availability with comic wave 3. I hope thats is true.

Wave 6 spotted at the Danbury Walmart! Picked up Torpedo, R&R, & CC. No comic packs. But they did have a couple of Beachheads, Black SEs, CGies, and Jetpack Troopers.
I was totally surprised, because I've never seen wave 5 there.

Danbury area is dead too. Target has nothing. TRU has alot of peg warmers but nothing current. Walmart has the 12 inch figures and around the weekend of the 4th I found a few random Wave 9 ( Hawk, Bazooka and Storm Shadow) but no new new 3 1/2's since then. The area is oddly barren. No new 2 packs, no vehicles and a sparse supply of wave 9. Watch it all hits at once and I'll need to take a small loan to afford it all!

The sightings threads have become cold with info...
I just think there has been a change of late of people offering info as I see more complaints on the sightings forums of people stepping on each others toes & them getting mad when another Tanker beats them to a haul by 2 hours. I haven't experienced this personally but I think more of the hunt is being kept quiet.
People are also afraid of Scalpers taking advantage of trolling sights like this.
"The Fight for Freedom" has become just a "fight to find figures" in some areas

Bethel Target just finished their new layout today they had Transformers Universe,Animated,Star Wars Clone Wars and of course G.I. Joes Wave 9,DVD Packs,Full Set of Wave 1 vehicles I left those as of 9pm if someone gets there by 8am you will dvd packs and vehciles

As of Saturday at close Bethel Target had no comic packs, no DVD packs and no wave 9. They were picked clean. Oddly enough they did have a Vamp, a Ram and two Armadillo packs. Danbury Walmart and Tru are also a dead zone with only the most pathetic of peg warmers.

Finally a little activity in the Danbury area. Walmart just finsihed thier fall toy reset and GI Joe is stock piled with Wave 9 and other hard to find figures. I saw Torpedo, Rock and Roll, Battle Armor CC and a some others that you don't see every day. I bought 2 BATs, 2 Storm Shadow, a Snow Serpant and Barbeque but left at least 2 of each on the shelves so if you act fast you may be able to grab some. No vehicles, new two packs or DVD packs but it's the mother load if you're looking for single cardes figures.

Tru finally got restocked. Wave 9 (There was at least one of everybody when I was there at noon), DVD packs, Many vehicles and wave 4 comic packs. No wave 5 comic packs and none of the new TRU exclusive five packs. They had a few each of the old sets, Nightwatch and Red ninjas but no Green shirts!! Damn.
Oh, I'm posting this as a leap of faith that real Tankers will get this and use it to fill thier collections and the scalpers end up with nothing.

Went to Target in Bethel to check for jets....nothing I had customer service check all stores in surrounding area and none in stock.I did pick up the 2 Iron Grenadier comic packs and there were about 3 each of the Nemesis/Falcon and Tripwire/Commander packs.Checked out TRU in Danbury and I found another Black Head Destro and left behind the regular gold Destro/IG pack.I was bored and rearranged the single card figs so each peg had all Flints,Rock n Rolls,Roadblocks etc. to a peg lol

CS was no help i knew i was in trouble when i walked up to the counter to hear the customer service lady talking to another employee and she gave her lunch order convo and she asked for a cheeseburger with no cheese

I picked up the rattler and conquest at the Target in Ansonia ( Derby? ) and they told me the Orange Target had 2 of each in stock. All you have to do is calla nd have them hold them for you but first give the the DPC number to see if they have them. Also, there is a toy store on the second floor of the Milford mall that has tons of joes, but the asshole wants 14.99 each for them. Still, if you are missing a few it is better then EBAY. He also had a few target veh ( 20.00each ) and the wave 1 veh ( 29.95 each ).

Oh yeah, today is the 14th, and this was yesterday.

I havent seen anyone talk about this yet, so I want to post this. I live in Fairfield County, CT and for waves 1-6 all Walmarts, targets, and Toysrus shelves and pegs have been pretty much empty up until now. I had to use EBAY ( I hate paying 20 bucks for a 7 dollar figure!!) and a lot of gas to acquire every single 25th joe out so far. As a avid comic collector, I discovered a full proof method for Acquiring joes. I get the Previews catalog from Alternate Universe in Milford, CT ( comic store ) and have the owner order me cases of all the 25th stuff direct from Diamond Select ( direct from Hasbro). I have to pay a little more ( I end up paying 9.99 instead of 7.99 for the figures, but I get mint sealed cases from Hasbro, full waves and I don't have to drive around the state ( I own two SUV's and the gas is a lot more than the two bucks extra for each figure!). The only thing that sucks, is that I pay 29.99 instead of 19.99 for the DVD sets, but it is worth it for me. Also, each wave I get from them has two random extra figures for the wave, so maybe I will luck out and get the clear wraith variant!!! In regards to the comic packs, I get those at the Stratford Walmart, I walked in a month ago and got three black headed Destros and have never had a problem getting any of them. Also, I got the rattler and conquest yesterday and the Derby Target, and the Orange Target still has two of each as of today. I called the store and had them put them aside with my name and they were there waiting for me when I got there, check out that cool link someone posted and you can look up the DPC number on the Target website. Also, I have lost so much sleep over the stupid Target exclusives I am pre-ordering all future Target EXCL. ( the 50 dollar mobat/hiss set for Christmas!!!!) I seriously recommend hitting up ordering joes through any comic retailer that uses diamond direct. I do not mind paying 9.99 a figure since I don't lose sleep, and spend gas and time searching for mint on card figures. By the way, I have heard wave 10 has been delayed and that it is now slated for October, and wave 11 for November. I don't understand, there is enough star wars, indiana jones, and hulk crap at every store, doesn't Hasbro realize that they can make a fortune if they would hire a 3rd person at their Chinese plant? Also, has anyone else noticed that the paint jobs are getting a little sloppy. The new comic packs, I had to look through 10 different Falcons to find one that didn't have paint all over its face.

Its a little different, I know for a fact that the comic stores pay more for toys because Diamond Direct is a middleman between them and Hasbro, plus my man at Alternate Universe puts all the money up front for all the Joes and lets me pick them up at when I want. Last time, he had like three case waiting for me when I finally got there. Plus, he is rightoff the highway and you can park right in front. At target, you have to park and then walk all the way to the back of the store to find out they don't have any 7.99 G I Joes. I love the fresh cases and I will pay 9.99 a figure till the end of time. Plus, last case I had ( Wave 9 ) had and extra bat and a viper as the extra figures.

Oh and he has a Bumper sticker on his SUV that says " Annoy a liberal, work hard and be happy" some kinda Rush Limbaugh republican Banter!

anyway the guy is real scalper jerk and just cause its a democracy doesn't give him the right to scalp CHILDRENS TOYS!

I couldn't agree more, all these pigs who made money on the first 9 waves did so because Hasbro did not make enough toys to meet the demand, and all the shelves here in CT were empty for almost a year, but now every Target, Walmart and Toy's are us I walk into has at least 4 full pegs full of wave 8 and 9 plus the vehicles. I don't want to sound crazy, but I really do want to cause bodily harm to assholes like that mall guy, I hate any kind of scalper, toys, concert tickets , etc. Do you know how many concerts I go to where I pay lots of money to sit in the nose bleed section just to watch the entire show noticing how the first half of the seats are all empty because greedy assholes and radio stations buy them all up and then nobody buys them. Just like that human trash at the mall, I mean he could charge 9.99 and still make a few bucks, but he has to charge 14.99 and all these figures will sit there. What really cracks me up is that he only charges 19.99 for the Target exclusive vehicles, which isn't a bad price if you missed them, but 29.99 for the wave one ones which are plentiful everywhere. By the way, I noticed that the wave one vehicles went up a dollar this week at wallyworld. They were 14.90 something and last night they were 15.89 or something like that. Wave 11 and 12 figures will probably be 9.99. Pre-order is looking sweeter and sweeter by the minute. Digital toys.com has full case for like 60 dollars. Also, I am really @#%&@ sick and tired of F$^#ing re-paints. No more CCs, SE, dukes or destros please. I think when I snap I am going to take out the guy in the mall, and then drive to Rhode Island and go postal at the Hasbro office. Then I am going to re-paint all the bodies! ( I kid, I kid ).

im glad im not the only one who shares an extreme hatred for the mall whore .. i could never figure out why everyone would have all the figures from the waves i was looking for until i went into his store and saw them all. For a good year every store was empty the TRU had nothing ever i was lucky enough i went in when they opened and snagged a few 25th figures. I do most of my buying through BBTS because i want all the figures. i buy em when i see em at target and such just in case i can trade some of em.

i will keep an eye out for any wave 10s or re-issues i need a few of them since i missed em for the 25th

Already considered this, and i am guilty of buying two figures from the mall whore ( but who hasn't ever paid for sex...jk) Just got into Gi joe's again this july and couldn't find a beachead ( favorite childhood character) for the life of me, so when i found when at his store in the milford mall i bought it. I did ask why it was 15 dollars and told the cashier that i was getting ripped off.

Just thought I'd comment. It does aggrivate me that this guy has the nerve to sell these for the price he does. Yet, if you really need something for your collection your chances are pretty good. I refuse to buy anything from him. Here's the story. I got the scoop from a K-B employee at the milford mall. I was told that someone at the K-B (probably target in the mall also) holds the cases or calls him when they're on the floor. So pretty much nobody gets a chance to pick up anything. But seriously who buys from K-B, they're like $8.99 or more for a G.I. Joe figure. I was at the milford store 2 weeks ago and his pegs were loaded with Joes. But nothing was moving and everything was collecting dust. Can't knock the guy for trying to make a buck. Getting your fig from ebay is the same price or more once your done with shipping. I'd rather support the little guy if his prices were a little more reasonable. Really though hooray! the internet sites that charge $19.99 for a Rock-n-Roll or Battle Armor Cobra Commander w/o shipping. You know who I'm talking about too...dont want to blow anybody up. Were all a bunch of O.C.D. G.I. Joe junkies looking for our next fix. I feel were pretty lucky with the Joes in Ct. I pretty much get everything from walmart and target, and theres plenty on the shelves for everybody. I don't think we have it anywhere as bad as other cities and states. Somebody on this site said, and I quote G.I. Joes are "Plastic Crack". I'm feeling that. I know it's tough sometimes with the scalpers and the people who have families and tough work hours. Does any body still need these planes, if you do and I see them I could pick them up and you could drive to my house and pick them up, I only ask that you pay me whatever the receipt says ( 24.99 plus tax I believe!). Trumbull Target has one conquest ( 10-1-08 ,8:00 P.M.) and tons of hawks, barbs, etc. Stratford Walmart has tons of comic packs ( no black destros!) and only two figures and two vehicles. I hope this means they will be getting wave 10 in soon. I have to get the blue wraith. I am sure there will be more blue wraiths around than previous thought. ( I hope!)

Hey, Picked up armored Cobra commander last night at the Milford Walmart. Left behing snake eyes with grey timber, snowjob,black SE. They had full pegs of figures, no wave 10. I am only missing two figures out of all the 25th, armored cc and wave one flint. I am happy I got CC but I know they had a flint because snowjob and snake eyes w/timber are part of that revision case. They also had 3 pallets of toys from hasbro and mattel, and even though I almost got into a fist fight, I didn't care and went through every box but no joes! I was hoping they had wave 2 of vehicles and some wave 10 but no. The walmart in stratford is almost out of figures and vehicles so I hope they will be getting them in soon. Also, I hope target and walmart mark down the dvd packs, I would like to buy a few extra.

Hey, for anyone that cares, the family dollar in Stratford has the valor vs venom for 2 dollars each on card. The package says 2004 and they come on a blister with a smaller blister with weapons. I bought the baroness and snakeeyes, whick they had many of. They also had sand viper, night creeper, stalker, and storm shadow. They have two aisles of toys so look carefully, I missed them the last few times I was there!

Nothing at the Stratford Stop&Shop. Nothing at the Branford, Guilford, Stratford, or Old Saybrook Walmarts today except wave 9 and a few flashes, bats, snowjobs, snake eyes w/ timber and one armored CC ( at the Guilford Wallyworld). As for the Stratford one, I am going to go there every day until I see wave 10 because they have been down to 2 bar bee Q's for 4 days now which means they will get wave 10 soon and I want to be there when they do. I was there when the comic packs were put out and they had 3 black destros so I want to get my hands on the blue wraith.

Stop and Shop is the place to go. Yesterday I hit the 2 in Danbury and passed on a TF Duke and picked up a Mutt, Paraviper a Cobra bazooka trooper. Nobody else in the area has even a whisper of wave 10. Danbury TRU did have the Sharc and Fire Bat though.

Yes, I am in need of a flint ( wave 1 re-issue, the only thing from the 25th I do not have!) , I do not care about the condition of the card, I open all of mine anyways. I want to get the reissue, I refuse to order one from BBTS for 20 plus 8 dollars for shipping. Every figure I payed 20 dollars for on ebay I ended seeing in a store for reg. price after, so I am going to be patient. I keep seeing snow job, snake eyes w/ timber so I know stores are geting that revision case. I also will be going to the Stratford Walmart every day, I must get a blue wraith!!! Thanks to Dreadnok619 I scored some of Wave 10 @ my local SS&S!! Wraith! Bazooka Troooper! & Croc Master!! All for $5.99!! After that I went to WM and scored Wave 3 of Transformers Universe (Classics 2.0), Ironhide, Silverstreak, & Sideswipe all on ROLLBACK for $7.77!! Great hunting day all in under 30 minutes, I even had the WM cashier flirting with me & my toys... LOL!!

I think I am going to get EVERYTHING form BBTS from now on. I am stressing two much and my wife is going to ask me to leave if I keep spending our weekends driving around CT checking 10-15 Walmarts and Targets just to come up empty handed. I freaked out and spend 80 dollars on the 4 wave one vehicles through digital toys when I could of just waited and got them retail ( I see them everywhere!!). I want to get lots of eels, cobra divers and water moccosins though! I hope one day the stores are jamed up with eels the same way it is with vipers and wild bills.

Was at the grand opening of Target at Trumbull mall at 7:55 A.M. Waste of my #@@# time. They did have 3 conquests though. Stop and shops in trumbull and bridgeport, nothing. STILL!!! NOTHING at the Stratford Walmart. I understand that all the other stores have to sell out of the wave 8 and 9 but the Stratford store has had 2 BBQs for over a week. WTF? Also, I hear that smalljoes has wave 10 case for 60.00 including the blue wraith? Is that correct. There are rumors that the grey wraith is more rare?

No I got them from Hasbrotoyshop for $14 a piece with the fall20 code it only took a couple days to ship.I forgot to mention the Target in Bethel was full of singles they must have had the wave 1 Flint case because there was 1 Snake Eyes with Timber there.I also checked and they have more singles in stock and more vehicles in stock in the backroom.I bet there are plenty of Wave 2/3 vehicle cases and wave 10 cases just sitting in the back because they wont bring those out till the ones on the floor sell out.If only kids really did buy Joes we wouldn't have this problem with Transformers they flood the pegs but it still sells through because of the collectors and the kid market

FIREBAT AND AWE STRIKER!!!!!!! Sunday, October 12th, 6:00 P.M. just came from the Walmart in Branford, hiding underneath the Joe DVD packs behind the Hiss and Vamp were a firebat and awe striker with leatherneck. The boxes were a little beat but the toys were OK. I have already ordered these from Diamon Direct, plus I wanted two firebats but my wife was being a real A@##$%% about buying more joes and I didn't feel like hearing it!
