dude i hear ya , im only sticking to the figures pre-resolute and pre-movie once those are done so am i .. there is nothing left really and im happy with all my purchases

I know what you mean. I'm staying away from the Resolute and Movie figs. I only plan to buy a vehicle if I want the figure. I know repaints suck, but I want to have at least one of each figure in their original paint, even if it's a reused mold.

I think that is part of being a collector, picking and choosing what you buy. I know a lot of people that just decide to chuck it all, i can see it for dead line, but with something till going strong i just scratch my head.

nothing from me :) .. it was a pretty small showing this time around. i thought since the weather was poor last show there would be more people there this time but in fact , there were less vendors.

one guy had the alley viper loose for 25.00 (no thanks) was cool to check him out tho. I still keep my fingers crossed i will find a loose 25th dusty for less than 12.00 but i dont think that will ever happen.

I hit the last 2 shows. It was ok, alot of the prices were really jacked up. No, they were pretty outrageous. The movie stuff will be released July 11th. But keep your eyes/ears open hasbro will probably bump up the release date like with Transformers.

I have not seen them in a while, but they are worth the hunt. This week it looks like they were never there, but with WM and TRU starting to get them i say you will be easy to get them soon.

Hit target in Enfield this mornng. Wave 1 of ROC toys in stock. 7.99 each, I snagged the only covergirl, the rest look full of fail. Case included Zartan (horrible) stone, scarlette (really bad head sculpt) shipwreck, cobra viper, ripcord and a few others. No snake eyes or storm shadow. They also had the night raven.

I would just like to remind everyone that CT sucks and I've been hunting this morning to several Targets in FFld County, Walmart, TRU (the biggest sniker of em all) and they won't sell shit until the 10th. Way to go Hasbro you screwed everybody on this with your 10 million release dates that change every hour. TRU has no idea what I'm even talking about and Walmart well they're just always a big let down. But everybody justs sucks off Transformers and put there shit out for the early release. Hey Hasbro good job with the new TF toys, they're just collecting dust on the pegs. I love Transformers too and I would'nt even buy that goodness for homeless kids at Chirstmas. Happy Fourth of July all. Don't waste your time and aggrivation today.

walmart in Wallinford had one and a half skids of ROC joes last night at midnight but they were marked do not open until the 10th , didn't stick around to see if the night crew was going to do a reset ( This was Tuesday night coming home from Bradley Airport).

Target in Enfield has all (maybe not anymore) of the first wave figs in stock. Multiple Destros, SS's and SE's (really, 5 or 6 of each). No sign of the later waves though (PP SE and SS). Target in Windsor = fail, no figs, just a couple of SI/WB comic packs (though they do still have 1 original Conquest on clearence).

WM in east windsor is also the suck, the only Joe stuff out there is clearence combat heros.

Been through most Target's in FFLD and New Haven counties and have not seen these.

I could understand complaining about the spring loaded weapons if they came with out all the stuff they do, but most figures come with a ton of accessories. They said at Toy Fair that those were for kids while the little weapons were for the collectors. I think it was a good compromise and they are being up front about it all. All mine go in a bin that i will get rid of at some point but it does not hurt the figure at all.

I agree that some of the paint apps on HD are awful, but as a line I think that have been great.

I understand but I display mine MOC and loose, the figs are kinda cool if you display loose but I don't like them carded. Also, I don't like classic figs coming out in the "off screen" movie format. I wish all the figures would just come out in the 25th style, and I wish the 7 packs would come out single.

I love the Firefly, great accessories. I also snagged a few other figs this weekend. I only display opened figs, so I just give my son the plastic launchers.

I will say this though, some of the female fig's are = the fugly. The only decent one is desert ambush scarlett.

If you have K-Marts near you a couple I've been to has the Rex wave only problem is they are $10 a fig!! even with the sale last week when I bought them it only brought it down to $8.06 a piece.The Pit was on sale at TRU.com for $69.99 with free shipping about a week and half ago.I used the 5 $10 gift cards I got from the last TRU sale and it brought the Pit down to $19.99 which made it $25.68 with tax and it shipped in 2 days by UPS out of a warehouse in Parsipanny NJ.The only thing I was worried about that it was clearly shipped in a Hasbro Toys box and that my douchebag neighbors might take it from my doorstep while I was at work

^ HTS is the same price as normal retail so yes.
Especially when they have the coupon codes that makes them cheaper then retail.
The shipping is always less than what you'd spend in gas.
I love the hunt but found I save a lot of money when ordering online, especially in the cold weather that is coming soon.
Only problem is for nitpickers like me you can choose your figures so you run the risk of less than stellar paints, but so far I have had pretty good luck! My area ids very saturated right now with common figures so that's why I bought waves 4-5 online. While the weather is good I still hunt when time permits.

@ TRU Waterford today I picked up a desert 5 pack and a Bench Press

They had:

6x Bench Press
9x Snow Serpents
3x desert 5 pack
2x cobra 5 pack with 2 Neo Vipers, 2 MARS troopers and a black Duke

$7.99 for single figures stings a bit, but I caught the cashier for a $5 gift card, so it stung a little less.
Snow Serpents looked kool, but no more AK-74, they have a "movie" gun now.....

Who bought all the battle stations at Stratford Walmart??? I was there at 11:30 and searched for 45 minutes up down and behind every thing. I was also helped by the Hasbro rep and two walmart employees. The computer showed 2 MMS station. Not a damn thing anywhere. Thanks for the heads up angrypandaink, but no luck. Whoever bought them did you really have to buy the whole ton of them???
