So its a LBC custom, but I like it ALOT more than what came in the box. Just swapped the harnesses and the legs, and presto-changeo... an Air Trooper that fits with your army without looking garrish!

Not sure what to do with all these though... anyone want to buy 'em?

Very cool!!

As for any extra's you are getting rid of....I'm sure there are people here who would be happy to take them off your hands.

Sadly (?) I really like the yellow harnesses on the officers. The yellow/blue combo seems to work a lot better on the 25th figures than the comic packs from a couple years back.

My cobra army is one trooper and 10 B.A.T.s...I need more troopers. Thankfully I'm getting some new troopers and vipers for my birthday next month and The Air trooper is Fantastic!!!

wow, very cool swap. i had no problem with him before hand color-wise but i think the grey/blue look is certainly an improvement.

That's just too cool. Like most people here I only have one of each. I hate customizing a figure when I have just one for fear of messing it up then not being able to find that figure again. Out of the Cobra Legions the Air Trooper is one of my favorites.

Hey sorry to dig up a thread from the grave. But I've got a couple of these guys on the way and was thinking of doing this exact swap. One question for you, how easy is it to swap the legs. Is it just the screw on the inner thigh or is it more involved?

Thanks alot and great custom.

Very nice.. Might do something like that myself.

As for your left overs.. if you haven't already sold them drop me a line and we can see about working out something.

it IS as easy as unscrewing them...take the screw out, turn the leg upside down and pointing backwards and push down gently and the leg will pop open, sometimes it's even easier than that and two fingernails will be enough to pry the leg apart...don't loose the little rubber ball end grommet, and the knife sheath sometimes come loose too, both simply can be put back in place...

Derek, as for those extra troops (if you stilll have them), use them to make some sweet "Elite troops" out of extra black CC's if you have any, they look great with the gold/yellow garb on...maybe you can do what i have yet to do and use the troops lower arm instead of CC's to make him more troopery

sure thing buddy...
now taking the upper torso apart, thats another story...some "easy", some, well, lets just say an extra Legions Ninja saw the blunt end of hammer once...
