A sneak peak at the art via Twitter. Sooo looking forward to this. Hpe it's as least as much fun as the Marvel continuity Joe continuation by IDW.

Wildman's managed to echo his art from the last few issues of the original run almost perfectly. It's like he's never been away!

Which is surprising because his art style has evolved ALOT from what he did back in his T-Formers days.

I am very excited for this. I read the entire Marvel series about ten years back and I have had trouble getting into any other TF continuity, so this should hopefully hit the spot.

I must admit that, while I have all of the Marvel series tucked away in a drawer, it's been a while since I read them and I can't remember much about those final few issues. I thnk I'll have to revist the Furman run to refresh my memory before diving into the relaunch!

Looks good. I've always had mixed feelings about Wildman's work. On one hand, he's great at depicting Transformers in a damaged state. You'll often notice little details like bent panels, exposed wiring as a result of battle damage. However, at the same time he's also known for "fleshy faces". His TF faces look a little too organic at times. You know a little too rounded and then having unnecessary features (at least for robotic lifeforms) such as teeth and tongues.

I was very sad, when Marvels TF was cancelled, because they had the best creative team at the moment.

Simon Furman was very angry and bitter on the last letter page, because the title was getting attention out of the TF fanbase, even some positive remarks from the Comic Journal and the press, but Marvel axed the title, when the print run was under 100 000.

" Nr.80 in a 4 issue limited series " was an ironic subtitle on the cover.
