So Yar's Revenge, a classic of single button gaming and imo one of the most fun of the 2600 but.......

it was defender, huh? damn i knew it was something like that.

my ma sent away for a atari jacket when i was in kindergarden, it was pure silver. i would rock that shit now if i had it. i might look like a drag queen in a silver half shirt on, but hell, who cares, it was cool.


i know, i need to get a pic of ricky.. when he has a hat on, he looks like he got a full set of hair, as soon as he takes it off, it looks like his hat stole the hair off the top of his head.

I loved this game. Probably my favorite Atari game. I took it so high it went schizo...I don't think the levels went any higher or something.

I used to play the shit outta Yar's Revenge. Is there actually an end to that game?

At 37 I still game and Yars revenge had me more hyped up than almost any game has since.

Having my own copy was mind-blowing at 9.

River Raid was the classic along with Pitfall so these are probably my top three although I may have forgotten so many

i got it and a atari 2600,5200 and 7800 and i got yars revenge and about 80 others.

pacman, yeah its a classic and i like it. i wish ps3 would make a classics disc and offer the original pacman as a game. they did it for the ps2. the download they offer is ok but its not the original pac mac/ mrs pac man

I always liked finding the secret messages in these games... Yar's Revenge I can get, but not 100% of the time.

ahh Yars' Revenge. lol no one knew why yars was looking for revenge. but in that time if a game had revenge on its name it had to be COOL!! i remember playing that on Friday nights and also Joust and Ikari Warriors. those games where addictive.

Man, I remember my Aunt had this on the Atari. We had the Intellivision, lol.
