Snow Enironment - North Pole - top of the world or perhaps Alaska if we still have any snow left up their.

Desert Environment - Cobra Base

The Ocean -

Mountain regions - Cobra Temple

Jungle - The Amazon

For the ocean,It would be cool to have the Flagg.Show the Flagg lauching a full scale assault on Cobra island.Just think about how many cameos you could have just on the Flagg.

European/ Asian castle ruins just cause I loved fighting in the ruins in Star Wars Battlefront thus it should be expanded to everything!

Early rumor suggested that Sommers' pitch included multiple environments. It seems to be an essential part of his approach to the project. He really does want GIJOE to be an international, top secret, hi tech, task force.. thingy.

One thing though: I'd save Springfield as a location for the second film. I'd hint at it towards the end of the first one...

Something like this:

Towards the end of the first film, having the conflict solved, we are presented to the establishing shot of a town. Then, assorted images of their lovely citizens and lifestyle. It's the american dream embodied. Finally... a close up shot of some grass. And, of course, a snake enters and crosses the frame. Then, tilt-up and we see a big sign/letter-thingy that says: "WELCOME TO SPRINGFIELD"

...something like that.

I don't want the movie to be messy and jumbled, but I'd like to see the desert, mountains, ice plains/arctic region, the jungle and even an urban city as possible environments. The ocean would be cool to see as well. But I guess they have to leave something for a possible sequel, so I think we might only see 2 or 3 environments in this movie.

Great post! I have always loved GiJoe in the snow. For sure they have to show the hovercraft and Shark in the ocean. I think multiple scenes in a joint mission would be very cool. I wouldnt want the desert theater for the flick.
