3. Have you given any thought to a "viral campaign" for the upcoming live action movie? The Dark Knight executed this perfectly and some would say that's a big part of the film's huge success. Paramount did this with Transformers last year; can we expect a repeat for the upcoming G.I. Joe film in 2009 as a way to get fans involved?

Hasbro: Paramount will be running the marketing campaign for the live action movie, so it's not really a question we can answer - but maybe it has already started and you have not found it online yet...

I thought about this as well... I was wondering if it had anything to do with the M.A.R.S. shirts that were given out at Comic-Con. Tried everything from from the company name to the slogan "Better Living Through Technology", but I came up empty handed.

Any other ideas?

hmm.. tricky. I tried looking for pages based on "the pit" "pit" or "team delta" but no go there.

The dark knight viral campaign was awful, months after the character designs were released, they still had you solving a puzzle to watch the joker's left shoe.

It would fit GI Joe if done lightly like it was for transformers, like sending cobra recruitment ads, or story news about MARS invovled in some conflict.

so if theres a viral campaign does that mean there will be an antidote to this movie? Maybe like a real joe movie?

Actually they'd leave Hollywood alone since they help them so much with their anti-American military movies they love putting out. U.N.Joe being one of them.

Looked this up and called them today. They are a legit business in the Toronto area. Not associated with the GI Joe product in anyway, shape or form.

This is one of those "Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, business establishments, events, or locales is entirely coincidental."

I wonder how many calls they get like that a year... or just prank calls from dipshits.

"I need to set up an appointment with Mr. Tomax and Mr. Xamot"

I dunno... but I want a t-shirt!

how cool would it be if that logo began popping up on custom-made Cobra stuff, and that company had an underground following of Joe-fans?
