I'm almost certain (somebody will correct me if I'm wrong) that Hasbro has officially stated (in one of the Q&A sessions) that the movie figures would be in the same scale and styling as the 25th anniversary/modern era figures.
And to answer the question, I would prefer that the movie figures be in the 25A scale and style

now why would you believe that when Hasbro has already stated, numerous times, that the figures would be in the 25th style? do you think your someone knows more than Hasbro?

I'm a big fan of both so I hope we get some 8" figures for the movie.

I didn't read the Q&A's on the forums. and was told that it was gonna be in S6 style. well I'm glad to know that it's gonna be in the 25th style! :)

They should be Transformers. Don't the kids want a Channing Tatum that turns into a jeep?

Everything I have heard points to 25A styling, and that's what I would hope to see But actually I think that if they wanted to sell to kids, they would be better off with slightly larger scale figures. 12" is too bulky and 4" are too easy to lose. Mego had it right in the 70's!

25th style definately, and as that seems to be the way things are being done, I'm happy. I have nothing against S6 - I loved most of those figures - but for a movie with real people in, adopting odd-proportioned body styles and cartoony faces seems counter productive.
I can't wait to see some piccies of the movie line as I'm hoping for good things from this range in terms of both figures and vehicles!

I wouldn't mind seeing Sigma 6 style come back as a bonus, but I def' wants them to go in my 25th style collection. nice poll too, I like that most 'tankers are interested in movie toys.

25th figures for me. wouldn't mind to get movie figures as long as they're in 1:18 size.

Line is confirmed to be 25th style. The question is, would you mind Sigma 6 returning for a movie subline?
I wouldn't like sigma six figures for the live action movie, but I would like to see them come back for the resolute series.

I am already not buying any Movie Figures, let's just put another nail in that coffin and make them like S6.

I had to say no to the Sigma 6 style. Nothing against Sigma but I would rather see the movie figures be like the 25th/modern figures. Not to say that we won't see the figures also come out in different scales though. We may see something in the 8inch scale and we probably will see some come out in 1/6th scale. Anyway, thats just my 2 cents.

Most likely they will release 4", 8", and 12" Action Figures

Thats what I'm figuring on also. I know theres several here on the Tank that has already said they are not going to buy the movie figures. However, I'm interested to see what they will look like. Which I'm also thinking about it more from a customizers stand point than a collectors.

Would be stupid of Hasbro to do them in any style but the current 25th. Doing them the same style allows for them to sell them alongside the modern era stuff and people to use both styles at the same time, along with the Resolute stuff.
It'll be like Star Wars, all these different subsets that are basically the same scale.

I want both scales.
I obviously love the 25th styling as we all do.
However, S6 was a great toyline. I was against it when it was first shown at TF. However, I gave the figures a chance and loved them.
I think Hasbro should still be doing S6 style figures instead of the lame 12" stuff.
If Hasbro does 8" figures for the movie as well, they might not necessarily be highly stylized like S6. They produce 8" Marvel Legends Unleashed 360 which share scale and articulation with S6 but aren't as stylized. I see them doing the same with the Joe movie.

modern era scale/styling is already confirmed, this poll is to see if you want 8" figures too.
