stalker and firefly were fine...i didnt even look at the red ninja..........but zartan and those eyes...and shipwreck and those...everything......CRIMINY, the bird has a better paint job!

that shipwreck is the only one ive seen as of yet...so for now he has to do. i hope to find another and do a little replacing.

i know zartans eyes are a documented issue....anyone else with gruffer-than-need-be shipwrecks?

Seems like the paint apps are pretty bad on the 25th joes. Maybe out of a few you'll find some good ones. I bought a 5 cobra legions 5 pack with SS's iris painted out of place.

over the last two days, ive seen about 10 legions 5pks....all had crappily painted stinger drivers...hes the one im most interested in with that pack.

the eyes are the first thing i look at on a figure or statue or bust....after that, the overall face, after that, the hairlines, after that, straightness of the weapons, after that, overall outfit.
if the eyes dont pass, that piece is out for sure.
if i have to buy multiples of one character and mix and match, so be it.

obvious that zartan is an ongoing issue, so i had to relent to the best of the bad. and that shipwreck is the only one ive found as of yet. stalker and firefly were also solo on the pegs, but theyre fine, especially stalker...hes exceptional.

is crappily a word? guess it is now.

The Shipwreck I picked up is acceptable, but all the others I've seen were horrible. There has been one sitting at one of my area Walmarts all week that looks like a 2 year old painted it.

half of mine are looking down or just cross-eyed like a mental patient.

all the wave 3 figures i picked up have had really good apps. zartan's eyes look freaky but both are looking forward. shipwreck is prolly the weakest for me paint-wise. the 25th legions boxed set on the other hand is a different story. it has horrible paint apps...lots of bleed and overslopping of lines...was pretty disappointed in it.
