Looking for input: Wraith->v1 Overkill

I'd really like to get a 1991 Overkill to lead my BAT squad

and thought the upcoming wraith figure might work

but I'm a hack customizer, so thought I'd ask for people's thoughts here and see if anybody would be up for a commissioned work. How about slicing off his hand and using the wave 9 BAT accessories? Any way to get his chest piece to open?
Anybody else thinking of doing this?

yeah when i first saw wraith I thiught of overkill.
lower legs and armor are perfect. It looks like the armor comes off like web gear, armor cobra commander torso would be a good choice and the scarf from upcoming 7 pack. as for the arms i would cut off the right one, dremel and attach some VvsV attachments. I thought of using copperheads upper legs and one of the twins lowers, but when i did they just didn't look right

I was thinking about making an Overkill too but I was going to go with a different approach than previous incarnations. I was going to combine a legions CC with a BAT. Basically making a robot CC, with some obvious changes.

For your idea...
It might look better if you just replace one of the forearms with a BAT arm and then use some green stuff on that arm to make it closer to the Wraith style. That way the parts match perfectly.

I'm sure Jin is around here getting inspiration for Overkill like this with lights and crap that make 9 levels of cool.

Ha... no worries man, I was wondering for a minute while reading your post... I was out of joes for awhile when the later versions of overkill came out, so the 91 version is still the one for me...

thanks for the suggestions about swapping the bat arms and green stuffing it; that's a pretty sweet idea, and I've been wanting to test out green stuff. And if Jin's lurking, make it! and sell it to me! for cheap! :D

I think it could work, although when I first saw Wraith I thought Final Fantasy spirits within. With a few modifications it could work for overkill
