Wave 5 Comic Packs

I just had the good fortune of finding these (in addition to the black head Destro), and while I'm pleased as punch, I've a few minor quibbles. Now first off, I'll state that I'm loving the line, and couldn't be happier with it overall.

But with Tripwire, his mine detector is too short, and it's packed with the wire bent in the wrong direction (assuming he's right handed, because the screen faces inward from the right).

With the Cobra Commander, both the sheath for his sword and his gun holster are on the same side. I guess with his drawing the sword with the right and gun with the left work, but it just seems a bit too asymetric.

The Iron Grenadier's uzi looks to be large enough to accomodate 12-guage shotgun rounds.

That's all. Otherwise, good job.

as for the C Commander, his GUN holster is on his RIGHT HIP. the left leg holster looks to be for a knife that he didnt come with.

CC's body is that of a Crimson Guard so the empty holster is for one of their six-shooters.

With the CG 5 Pack and Wild Bills being made there would be planty of those guns to go around, the same with Falcon's empty holster.

Oh yeah. Doy. Yeah, I recognized it as the CG body, and I assumed that the pistol went into the left leg holster. Looking closer now, there is a holster on his right. So CC pulls out his guns criss-cross style, apparently.

I figure in those fancy duds, with his gold weapons, CC wasn't supposed to use them, he is just supposed to stand there and look bossy and regal.

LoL Wow I totally missed that other holster. I put the gun where the CG's six shooter goes. Thanks! I love these comic pack figures. The CC is just plain awesome. The Nemesis Enforcer is by far my favorite and he's exactly the way he should have been made. Sorry I mean Nemesis Immortal. :D Now i can only hope one day i might get the rest of Cobra La updated.

The ARAH Iron Grenadier also had the oversized Uzi, I didn't like back then and I don't like it now. I just pose them with their swords, protecting Destro and the Baroness.

I just read the comic for the Destro/IG 2 pack. There's Dr. Mindbender, Toxo-Vipers, Techno-Vipers, Nullifiers, WORMS, Outback, Shockwave and Sneak Peek in this issue. In the Falcon/Nemesis issue, we have Lift-Ticket and Dusty. And in the CC/Tripwire one, we have Heavy Duty and Mainframe. I know Techno-Viper is on the way (thank the lord!), as well as Dusty and Main(Data)Frame. But hopefully we're getting all of these other guys in the near future, before the movie. And the vehicles would be nice also.

and dont forget battle armor cc in the destro comic...its great to see him again,but is it cc or good old fred under that suit?

man i hope i can get CP wave 5! 4 was pretty good (FF is awesome!), but 5 looks great! tripwire! falcon! IG! nemesis enforcer to me is bittersweet because he will be out of place or even undesirable to me until/if we get the rest of Cobra La (at least golobulous and pythona, maybe some guards). and if we get that much, i want a "once was man" cobra commander!

anyway... thanks for the brief description of the very minor shortcomings of this wave. me want!!!
