Oh man! I needed bats the most! I went to Wal-Mart today and they had dozens of everone from wave 9, except Bats and Snow Serpents! I was sOoO disapointed, but at least I got the dvd packs.

My friend in Alabama called me today. To tell me they just got wave 9 in. They had 5 BATS and 5 Snow Serpent plus all the other ones, but one guy bought all bats and snow serpents.

That wasn't the Wal-Mart in Frankfort was it...? If so, I know where the BATs and two of the Snow Serpents wound up. But that was several weeks ago. And as such I can confirm that at least some Wal-Marts are getting larger orders in.

The Bats will be showing up again in another case assortment best I recall.

I don't understand how the HTS sells out so quick. I mean they create these figures and produce them. Shouldn't they take as many orders as they can and just fill the orders. I'd order 10 B.A.T.'s and wait for a month simply for the convenience. This way they wouldn't over produce peg warmers and only produce figures everyone is looking for.

To hell with the secondary market. I just want to find the figures I need for armies. Honestly were is the profit in these B.A.T.'s. They sell for 8 dollars plus shipping on ebay. Even if they make a few bucks on shipping it's only a few dollars profit. If they sold for hundreds I'd understand. The profit margin is simply not there. So all you scalpers stop buying them all and let some decent people get their figures..................Please.

Much like BBTS and other online retailers, HTS can't sell any more than is posted in their inventory. To oversell is bad business. Think of all the Flak they've caught from the SDCC... uh, CCs. Or what BBTS is going through now that Hasbro isn't filling their wave nine orders.

HTS is a small part of Hasbro and probably has no say over final production numbers.

For your other idea, its easier and smarter to trickle feed these out into the public and keep the demand higher than the supply. Hasbro [apparently] doesn't care if the final collector gets his fill so long as the product they have gets sold and they make their money.

Don't believe me? Ask the guy with a dozen Docs, more coming with the Sept Batch... or the guy with 30 Comic Con exclusives.

I picked up a BAT and Snow Serpent when they first came out, but the cards were a little warped. I came acorss two more the other day that are in better shape, so I will trade the first two I got. Anyone?
