Inspired by the DDP comic (pictured) and brought to 25th style. thought about doing some other things but dident want to take away from the DDP version. Tell me what you think. I have lots of other great customs I will list later on. Just wish I had a better camera to get better pics then these. Anyway thanks for looking , BILL

If I remember correctly, that's Cobra Commander disguised as Zartan. Still a great custom though.

SPC where have you been? Good to see you. So what did you get for winning the custom contest. Did you instruct hasbro on the paraviper? Did you get one of everything. I hope they hocked you up.

cool
Yes in that comic cover it is cobra commander but prior to that zartan looked the same way with the gas/oxogen type mask for his condition. In this particular comic zartan is in the custody of the joes.

i never realized until seeing the comic cover here, that Hasbro, for the most part, gave us DDP Zartan from the very begining...aside from some color variations and the mask all the designs from that comic version, boots, thigh pads, armour, basically everything, was a straight transision to the first 25th Zartan figure...now it makes since why he was so off from the classic...i never understood how Hasbro got his look so wrong...turns out it wasn't, it just wasn't what i knew...go figure...

I like it. if it isn't rude to make a suggestion, I'd say replace the upper torso with a Snake Eyes torso so you can get rid of the armor and have it the shirt like he wears to be more accurate.

Hasbro sent me one of each of the 2008 SDCC exclusives(Blue CC, Black CC, and SE w/ Timber).
As for the Paraviper, somewhat. I got contact info from a from some of the design team guys after the JoeCon in ATL last year and sent them a lot of information on modern paratroopers and halo jumpers. I didn't send them info on the Navy SEAL version of the Halo jumpers though and that's basically what you have with the paraviper. Funny thing I noticed on the Paraviper is the reserve. The ripcord grip is on his left side. That's wrong. It means his reserve is on upside down! lol. The proper position of a ripcord grip is in the center now(used to be the right side) and the reserve for HALO is actually built into the packtray with the main canopy.

That's cool. I hoped it would be the mother load. Good to see you posting. I hope that means you are happy with the Paraviper and the gear. Originally Hasbro went to the military for info, I'm glad you were there to pass the information along.
