black head destro no varient?

the wave 5 cp's have been hitting my area hard in the last 2 day's,but what i find alarming is that there are tons of black head destros,i have seen at least 4 of them,only saw 2 gold head,i think this is going to turn out to be a not so rare figure after all, seems like alot of hype,what have you guys seen?

Since the release of w5 comic packs i have only got the one set, and seen the tripwire/CC and Nemisis Immortal/Falcon packs, Never seen Destro/IG since then.....I WANT A BLACK HEAD!!! AND I DON'T Mean A pimple!

When the Wave 5 Packs first started appearing here, I'd see two of everything but no Black Mask Destro at all. Now all I ever see are the Tripwire/CC and Falcon/Nemesis sets with no Destro/IGs at all. I am still looking to pick one of the Black Mask sets up. Not because I care about the worth of the variant. I want to have an extra IG and the black mask will look cool opened.

I have found None In stores myself, I have been able to secure two one through a trade on the tank and another my girlfriend picked up for me. I have seen NO I.g. Destro comic packs in the store myslef!

My guess is collectors and scalpers are grabbing the black heads asap because of the current inflated value of an "omg rare" figure.

Give it time you guys, it will be rare when it stops shipping after this month. I am going to buy as many as i can find. And trade or sell all them loose or momc to whoever needs them around x mas time.

I OPEN MINE UP, AND THIS COMIC PACK IS BY FAR THE BEST. BOTH FIGS ARE AWESOME. THE BLACK HEADED DESTRO IS A 9 OUT OF 10, AND IRON GRENADIER IS A 10 OUT 10.

im tellin you guy's,they are everywhere here in pittsburgh,i say the bat is much more of a rare figure than the black head destro,i have only seen 3 bats in 2 months and 4 or 5 black head destros in 2 days!!!

I started seeing wv 5 cp about 2 weeks ago now and since then I have only found 3 Black Head destro, everything else has been Gold head destro/IG. I hit anywhere from 3-7 stores a day and see new cases of the wv5 cp put out but as stated above, they are almost always gold head destros..

I haven't ever seen a BAT, a Snow Serpent, or a Black Masked Destro, and I go shopping at least once a day, five days a week. With the huge amount of W5 comic packs I've seen, I have to believe that BMD is no more rare than a BAT is. It's just that everyone is buying these particular figures up to raise prices. I swear they're almost like oil company CEOs.

sounds good...I've been looking, but haven't seen any signs of wave 5 CPs in RI/southeastern MA. The IG/Black Destro variant pack is the only one I'm interested in either. Especially if Falcon and Tripwire end up as singles as rumored.

I think the black headed destro is rare. I found mine at tru as soon as they opened. I went in and looked at it and i thought it had to be a mistake because i had never seen one before. Pulled it off and saw falcon/enforcer, cc/tripwire, and the gold destro/ig. Picked them up in one swoop. It seems like they are everywhere else but where we live. Why not pick them up and hook up the fellow tankers? I have extras of alot of joes, so if you are looking for some let me know.

I can vouch for that. I got my hands on them today, and there were 2 blacks and 1 gold that I saw. If they're shipping 4:1, then it's not really a variant. Variants are supposed to be rare - not just slightly less. I still haven't seen a BAT or a Snow Serpent anywhere. And I'm pretty miffed over it. I'd gladly trade a black head Destro for one of each.
