Has anyone seen the figures that were suppose to be rereleased on the white border cards this summer.
Armored Cobra Commander
Beach Head
M.A.S.S. Cobra Commander
Vipers
Crimson Guards
Iron Grenadier Destro
Jet Pack Duke
Firefly
Flint
H.I.S.S. Drivers
Rock n Roll
(Black) Snake-Eyes
Snake-Eyes w/ Timber

'88 Storm Shadow

I remember reading about this in early July. I haven't hunted as much lately waiting for Wave 10. So has anyone seen these out yet? Or is Hasbro holding on 'til the Holidays like Wave 4 of last year?

I was wondering this myself. Are they going to shop up in sufficient quantities or are they going to be like wave 9?

Ive seen some of those on the pegs with wave 9, my local walmart has had wave 9 atleast 3 times already, of coarse with wild bill, and torpedo, but ive also seen most of what you just listed.

I have seen about 3 revision cases but they have all had the 25th logo. The most recently Snake Eyes and Beachhead were still silver.

im pretty sure they come out in one of the later wave 9 revision packs, as well as fillers for wave 10 and also in a later wave 10 revision.

there is a wave 9 revision thats all re-release except for 1 snow serpent if im not mistaken

It's just because I live a little bit out of town and my nearest Wal-Mart is off the path so to speak. The one across the street from work only has 2 Wild Bills.

no, you've seen the regular foil releases of those figures. he's asking about the non-25th foiled versions, which aren't out. if you've seen those, you'd be the first person in the world to have.

I have seen these:

M.A.S.S. Cobra Commander (as seen on tv card)
Vipers Both 25th and comic)

Jet Pack Duke (I believe both 25th and white)

H.I.S.S. Drivers (plenty, can't remember if 25th or not)
Rock n Roll (Quite a few, I believe non 25th)

Course this is texas.. where that lucky fella got a rattler like 2 months early or something like that.

Personally I cant wait for a flash and Armored CC

Haven't spotted the non-25th versions yet but a couple TRU's in my area have gotten in cases of Wave 6 25th logo.Armored Cobra Commander,Torpedo and Rock n Roll are currently hanging on the pegs with 25th and some glossy logos.My Walmarts are currently jammed with the wave 8 revision cases.Plenty of non 25th logo Hiss Drivers hanging around

Yep. JUST scored a Major Bludd, Flash, B.A.T. and Snow Serpent on the new white cards.

4 of the hardest-to-find figures, in one load.

My friend Kevin also picked me up another Flash and Bludd, and I'll be getting those on Tuesday, once I'm back at work. He said the cards are warped and creased really badly, so they'll be my openers...

Anyone in the Bay Area who wants the other white carders, let me know... I've already got 1 of each on the foil card, and I want to open the damaged ones, but 1 each of the Bludd and Flash are up for grabs...

Both of those revision assortments are getting to retailers and BOTH feature Snake Eyes on the non-25th packaging.

I can get all of these but flint at the local toyshow on saturday. I know snow Job and Rock n Roll are 10 each. the others are more expensive. Let me know if u want them.

Same thing here. I found wave 9 minus Ninja Ku and BAT. Picked up the Flash to make a '82 Grand Slam. Was surprised to see Flash and Blood on white card. The flash also has the new two peg stands.

Something I noticed on the white border cards. Some have the white background behind the figure window and some have a yellow background behind the figure window.
Whats up with that??

Wave 4 08 figures (Tiger Force Flint, Python Trooper, Cartoon Roadblock, etc) were the "transitional" wave from 25th Anniversary to Modern. So Hasbro simply left the background and logo white rather than foil them.

Starting with wave 5 08 (BAT, Hawk, etc), we officially started the "Modern line" and Hasbro chose to make the background yellow (likely for aesthetic reasons). Hasbro didn't change the background on the older figures likely because there really isn't a pressing need to do so.

Wouldn't surprise me, however, if future runs of these figures appear with yellow backgrounds.

i think they are just holding out on those figures due to how popular they are. maybe to keep rarity, that is why they are releasing all those flint repaints.(tiger force flint) and (cobra trooper flint).. i mean come on!! like we need more cobra guards.. what a pawn off!! as long as people keep buying these repaints they will keep putting them out. they know a million people will by desrto if his head is black.
and then they will release the iron grenadier pack with another destro.
its kida messed up when you try to army build and you end up with 10 snake eyes
10 storm shadows
10 destros
10 cobra commanders
and so on. that racks up in cash big time. and then you cant even get rid of the extras.toobad you cant resend these back to hasbro for a credit.i would trade all those cobra commanders and destros in a heartbeat

What would be kinda cool, turn in four crimson guard cobra commanders and recieve a special limited edition mail in cobra commander (insert type here) promotion that would be a unique mail in figure only. That would take a huge commitment Hasbro around this line, but hey if they want their new movie to suceed, well I think they should give us more cool stuff to be excited about!
