I dunno...they could be joes...but not the way you labled em...these guys could be the new Battleforce 2020 and a cross over univerese with Transformers...this is where the joint franchise needs to go....only way we can get Joe elevated to the status of Transfomrers lol...get em in the movie...its all Hasbro..why not? I would love to get combo packs of Cobra Commander and Megatron and so forth...Destro riding in Onslaught as a new Hiss...

Thats Awesome! you can do the same thing with NCIS and NCISLA ! both of which are loosely based off of GI Joe!

No, those were N.E.S.T. troopers.

Well, there was one ep where a few characters featured the names of Joes.

Yeah, but that doesn't count as the shows being loosely based on Joe since they aren't.

I'm sorry but I don't think NCIS has really anything to do with GI Joe and it's certainly not based on GI Joe.

That's basically what I was saying with the second Joe film. Just bring in some lower paid no name actors to play more recognizable Joes. They don't all have to have big speaking parts. You can still have many other familiar Joes with the familiar uniforms in the background fighting in battle.

Yeah, I'm with you.

Haven't we been saying this since the first Transformers? I've always viewed the military team in these movies as a form of GI Joe

I haven't seen TF3 yet. But I thought N.E.S.T. was code for "really GI Joe" wink wink nudge nudge

Oliver Stone clearly based Platoon on G.I. Joe as well.

Too bad ROC wasn't based on GI Joe.

Identity Crisis (2007) - Trivia - IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1093686/trivia)
"NCIS" Identity Crisis (TV episode 2007) - IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1093686/)

The writer of that episode was definitely a Joe Fan.

Remove the Bots and Cons, and edit the movie around the military teams, and you have a better GI Joe film than Rise of Cobra!

you forgot also to remove any semblance of the Joe characters beyond the basic similarity that they are a military unit and you may be on to something.

Funny funny funny Joe on Formers universe but Stalker can't be Tyrese. Tyrese plays an Air Force Combat Controller, not an Army Ranger. done.

I like youre idea, but I wouldnt have Josh Dumhal (sp) as Hawk, more like Falcon if anything. And Gung-Ho Id take Amaury Nalasco from the first movie (the one talking about his "mommas cookin.")

Between those 3 movies, and the 5 Fast/Furious movies, you can come up with a pretty mid range cast for a Joe movie. Some might demand a bit of a paycheck, but most arent that well known.

No, just people involved with the production/writing are Joe fans, NCIS is a spin of of JAG.

Too bad ROC wasn't based on GI Joe.

LOL its ok, its a good dirty lol

TBS use to have skits called "Monkeyd Movies" were Monkeys would act out scenes from films, they could make a better Joe film the RoC.

Point being, Tyrese would make a better Stalker then Waynes woulda. And Tyrese being a smart ass is 10x funnier then Waynes on his best day.

Well, think of TF3 as a test run for more GI Joe Movies. When it comes to Military action in any case.

If Hasbro can make Transformers toys in 1/18 scale, fine with me...but if they're gonna make the Joes as small as those in Human Alliance...don't even bother Hasbro.

Yes, everything from a Hasbro-based movie must come out in toy form.
