BBTS ships Black Head Destros instead of Gold

I was already excited when I got home and found that BBTS shipment had arrived with my two sets of wave 5 comic packs, but never in my wildest dreams did I expect this:

What's shocking is that I did not order two sealed cases, but two sets. That means that BBTS has random people opening sealed cases and filling orders. Now I have to search for the gold head Destro.

I haven't seen a black yet, though I'm not looking either, but it's interesting to see how prevalent they are. good, I'm glad there is a variant that people are excited about yet probably isn't anymore rare than the regular version. the times I have seen wave 5 comics, all the Destro's have been gone, so, people are obviously just as interested in both versions.

i've been wondering if they would send the variants. i haven't seen either in the stores, tons being bidded on the bay though. feeding the shark frenzy, they never learn. however, i have seen the other two. i freakin' ordered mine in feb. from bbts and have yet to hear of them.

Nice haul!! I have seen lots of these comic packs and only one Black Headed Destro. These things are tough to come by.

My understanding is they would be in the first shipment.How rare they eventually are depends on how many actually are made.Maybe you will be kicking yourself in a few months,It remains to be seen.

FYI: I have no dog in this fight.I found one already and made a very resonable trade.I don't want either version and I don't care much about variants

I only want to find the variant so i have an excuse to get a second Iron Grenadier. The black head is neat looking, but it makes little difference if i end up owning it or not. The Iron Grenadier was in one of the Wal-mart listings as a single card last year. Actually, a lot of the comic pack figures are showing up as single cards in the Wal-Mart computer...

Just FYI the next wave of CPs (with Hardmaster) will also have Destro/IG two-pack. I'm willing to bet ALL of those will be gold heads.

When I found everything locally (including two BHDs), I cancelled my BBTS order. Now, let's consider that me sharing the collectors experience with someone else. ;)

I have two sets of W5 in my POL, been there since their first shipment. I'm hoping one of them is the black mask since I haven't seen jack locally. I emailed BBTS about it, got a response saying they were going through the shipments and haven't come across any BM Destros. I guess for some reason they're playing dumb on this one lol. I should just ship out my POL, but I'm waiting on the W9 revision case as I need a Flash. >_<

It's first come first serve.If you ordered later you have to wait for BBTS to get in another shipment.
