what non-joe related stuff do you mix into your collection?

But what do you mix in for fun and imaginary expansion?

well i mix in my customs,my street fighter and Mortal Kombat ones were always a part of my Vintage Joe world after they were released,and it makes sense to me to have them in there now...plus I threw SHREDDER in there too :)

I have motorcycles, some other off-brand vehicles, pieces from Indy stuff, Halo, Elite Forces stuff, The Corps figs, but only their weapons, pieces from pirates of the Carribbean, evil dead, star wars (Some of the smaller blasters fit great into the holsters like Lt. Falcon's open one)

I have had some fun with the Indiana Jones figs. I pretend IJ is a scientist that COBRA is after, that has been fun.

Otherwise, when I am taking pictures, I like to snap some photos of the Joes intermixed with modern military like BBI, 21st Century, etc.

I never really cared for the Hasbro vehicles, sorry the HISS tank just doesn't look to combat ready! (hope that doesn't get me kicked from HISSTank.com!) I like to display my joes with a
bbi M1A1 Abrams,
the Cobra's are crusing in a 21st century M41 Walker Bulldog,
bbi SWAT hummer that looks pretty good for Cobras,
21st Century Bradley,
got Wild Bill set up in a bbi Apache.
The Cobra Night Watch are flyin' high in a bbi little bird,
Cobra anti-aircraft are using a 21st Century M16 Halftrack with quad 50 cal and M17 2-Ton trailer w/ quad mounted 50's,
haven't quite figured out what to do with the bbi black hawk but I can't wait to get a bbi FA-18!!

I love setting up huge dioramas! I used to set up huge battles with all my stuff (ninja turtles, joes, ghostbusters, army men etc...) in the living room when i was a kid. Great memories!

I don't really mix my figures with other figures but will introduce scale appropriate pieces sometimes. I snatched up the Indiana Jones Ark of the Covenant with the quickness. It makes a great plot device.

I have the awesome marauder accessories, a Corps vehicle or 2, and IJ German motorcycle, a couple Maisto motorcycles, whatever I can make work.

I got them mixed in with forces of valor bravo team figures and hardware, BBI figures, Sub5 agents with annika 2.0 bodies. and 2 terrorists I got from small joes that are contracting for CC. I also use a few Halo 3 figures as super duper special forces suites the joes would "jump in to" sometimes.

My universe is Cobra vs the Empire. So imagine tons of Cobra Figures and Storm Troopers/Clone Troopers battling it out for control of the world or galaxy. I grew up loving the bad guys what can I say. Joes and the Rebellion figures are usually a side note causing problems, but never a serious threat. Cobra is the dominant force. I end up using large Figures or mech from other toylines as personal guards for CC. Gundams/Xeon Resident Evil Figures, MK Goro & Ninjas etc...


Rename the line Cobra and I'd be happy.

So far I've only mixed a few things in. From Star Wars I have Senior Ranking Officers Duke on the Deluxe Darth Vader figure's medical table, and EV-9D9's control console.
From the Indiana Jones line so far I've given Cobra the creates that the figures come in.
I've been thinking of getting a Russian soldier or two to support Red Star, and if I get the Cargo Truck from the Indiana Jones like I'm going to give Cobra the crate that comes with that. I have been thinking of getting a few Corps vehicles as well.
I don't know if I'll ever mix in other figures though that aren't G.I. Joe beyond that guy from M.A.S.K. that's coming in a future wave.

The wwe build in brawl bone crusher or whatever(guy with red face) is baller he bends better than joes and looks pretty crazy, cant hold a gun unfortunately but I make him a sorcerer kinda dude when I play or just a hand to hand guy.
