The Cobra Moray Hydrofoil last appeared from the VvV that included Flint and Beachhead. This gives me the reason to believe that Hasbro may have the mold to the Moray Hydrofoil?
Would love to see this happen and includes the driver Lamprey. If so, I would guess the sticker price to be about $25 bucks?
Any takers on this?

Oh, I'd buy it, I'm still hoping the Killer Whale will pop up as an exclusive. Now that would be cool!

I could be wrong, but I think I paid more than 25 bucks for my Moray from TRU, and it wasn't even assembled... I think it'd be closer to $35-$40 given it's size and pieces required. Even the Target jets are gonna be $30.
If they did reissue them though, I'd hope for a Lamprey or two with it. They should be easy enough to make from existing Snake-eyes pieces with a new head and vest piece.

The vehicles seem to be the only thing Hasbro is doing right with this line, It'd be interesting to see what they could do with the Moray in terms of mold/sculpting improvement.

I think I would get just about any GI Joe/Cobra vehicle they re-make from the early 80's. So yeah, I would get at least one.

They also made the Moray for the 2004 convention.

Ah, that's right. Totally forgot about that '04 convention.
Things are looking good down the road in terms of vehicles wise!

They better do a MUCH better job than they did in 2005! I spent $40 on it and it looked like it was made by a bootlegger. The steering wheel didn't fit, the plastic was weak and easily bent/stressed, I didn't get instructions, there was more flash on the missiles than I felt there should be. Just to nitpick some more, the stickers were crappy paper stickers.....oh yeah, and the o-ring on Beachhead was broken :) The best thing about that $40? The individual figure cases Flint and Beachhead were packaged in, but I coulda done without paying $40 for them and a KO vehicle

I've got four of the old ones and from what I've read here on the 'tank, the Moray is compatable with the new line. I haven't verified this for myself yet (all of them are still in storage). But if they do work out pretty well, Hasbro would have to do some serious upgrades for me to justify buying another one.

The only trouble I found with the old Moray design is that the pilots seats don't take too well to holsters and other attachments to the upper legs. They'll fit, but some characters will lean a little. That and the new figures feet are a little too large for the moving around the engine area.
Still they could rerelease the mold with no adaptation if they wanted.
Sharke, I just noticed your avatar... Nice.

the hydrofoil is one of my favorite vehicles and i would love to see hasbro improve it. i also really want a whale. but hopefully if a whale is released they make the back fans more durable since they alweys broke so easy back in the day.

I'd love another Moray. I'd especially like a different colour... maybe all black?

Even the old figures don't fit very well there...

I was thinking about this just a couple of days ago! I hope your right! How cool wood it be to get a new hydry foil?! I know that I would buy at least one or two... I already bought five conquests and four Rattlers ffrom Target. Three cheers for army building. Hey how about a new version of the Whale too?!

I was tickled to death when I bought the VvV Hydrofoil, because I was never able to get the original one when I young. 11 months after that, Toys-R-Us had marked them down to $10 each, so I bought the last two they had and traded one to a friend. Hasbro should reissue the Cobra Moray with a Lamprey and then make a Eel/Lamprey comic 2-pack. What the heck, make an AVAC/Strato-Viper comic 2-pack while they're at it. We need more co-pilots/gunners for our extra Rattlers and Water Moccasins. (And hopefully Night Ravens.)

Never had one as a kid, picked up two recently, one in real nice shape, one I plan on doing as custom.
Pretty cool boat either, I could not believe how big it was once I opened it! :O

I just got my first one from a tanker. I have been wanting to do an RC one for the longest time, but I don't want to cut up my original...
A re-pop would be sweet.... I passed on the TRU one for not having the money at the time....

If they could improve upon it then sure. If not then I wouldn't be interested because I already down the original.

I think it would be nice if they would do what they did for the rattler and conquest. make it an exclusive moray and whale how cool would that be. if they dont have the molds they can make new ones and retool it too.

It seems like these would sell very well, take this as an unofficial poll Hasbro
I have a vintage one but I would buy another two if the were re done
I have always loved the Moray. Easily up there as one of the best vehicles ever released
