Movie date switch?

I just had a thought and I wanted everyones opinion. With all the trouble that's happening to the Transformers filming does any think they might switch the dates with the Joe movie since it's already in the can with only the effects to add.

I think the Joe movie would do a hell of a lot better on the June 26th slot, closer to the 4th of July . The Transformers sequel will do well no matter what. All we can do is wait and see.

It would be nice if they could open the Joe movie in May and who knows, what LaBeouf's injury and production on TF2 being stalled for 4 weeks it might be bumped up.

It would be cool to get it earlier, especially as filming has finished, barring reshoots and stuff, but I guess the guys know when they want to release it and why, there must be a reason behind that date so I don't think it'll move...

Well, regarding the fact "Prince of Persia" has been pushed to 2010 due to the actor's strike, it MIGHT be possible it'll be bumped up. Heck, I think it'd be more likely that "Transformers 2" should be pushed back.

Yeah, a date switch would help the transformers crew to get it done right,however, they've stated that none of the filming hiatus have affected the realease date.
