What u dont see,doesnt mean that it doesnt exist.look at the back of the china card and u see storm shadow pics.

I recently bought a carded China Storm Shadow from a seller from China, and he informed me that these were part of his collections from over 20years ago. However, i checked his feedback and found other buyers bough the other storm shadows that he had and have left him positive feedback. I went head and bought the carded Chinese Storm Shadow.

After buying the Storm Shadow from him. subsequently there were more sellers selling more storm shadows on ebay. I found it rather fishy. When the item arrived today, i checked the carded storm shadow and found that the cardback looks very glossy and the picture quality on the back of the card looks like one that is professional done by a colour printer? I will take more pictures of the card and post it here. Can someone help me verify if they are legit?

i dont think all the ones on ebay right now are originals, they are repros or recards.

hello. just joined the forum and was curious to see if there was a topic on this figure. i also purchased this figure on ebay about a month ago and was skeptical if it was real or not. i checked the yojoe site and turns out there was one previously made (YOJOE.COM | Carded Storm Shadow (China) (http://www.yojoe.com/international/china/china-stormshadow.shtml)). But after receiving the figure, it does look like a repo. Either way it's a nice figure but i feel ripped off. I'm gonna see if i can score more of these items with my next trip to Asia.

I read recently how a big batch of storm shadow were produced without hasbro's permission using the old molds. I guess they'd be somewhat real since they were using the original mold, but fake since its not official? Anyway. Aside from them being pristine white, the thread points out how you can tell the fake ones from the silver rivets used. the original 80's release ss has a different rivet from the one thats being cranked out and passed on as a "vintage" recently.

we have to be very selective when we deal with china sellers,there have been many cases of fraud.

Most of the vintage products from China are fake - like 99.9%. I never buy any vintage or high price item from them, if I were you.

hate to break it to you they are all fakes from china.cards were done on a printer.figure is cheaper quality.did alot of research on this and yes they are fakes.got my money back on mine and got to keep the figure for not reporting the sellers on ebay.
