The Tiger Force were all just cheesy repaints, but they hold a special place in my heart. I was in the 4th grade in 1988 when they were released, and at the height of my G.I. Joe years. I was the perfect target audience for a group of Joes in cool tiger striped camo driving around in vehicles they stole from Cobra and repainted. One Saturday I walked in to a TRU with my Dad and hurried back to the Joe section, but they did not have any Tiger Force. As we were leaving I saw a box on the floor, it was a brand new case of them with every figure in it. I remember trying to convince my Dad that we had to get them all! I think he finally gave in and we got one of each. That was one of the greatest moments of my young life as an avid Joe collector. If only puberty had not caused me to take my teen angst out them with BB guns and bottle rockets.

This is a hard choice. It would depend on who they put in the sub group. If they kept it true to the original groups, I would pick Slaughters Marauders. That way we would get a Low-light, Slaughter, Mutt, Spirirt, BBQ and Footloose. All our favorites of mine, however I like the original figures of them better.

I will say the Tiger Force was my favorite group as a kid. Part of it was I never had the original Dusty, Recondo or Roadblock. The Tiger force gave me them. Also the Skystriker figure was one of my favorite figures.

Gotta go with Night Force. The upcoming Night Watch Troops set will need someone to compete against in snipe hunting :)

Serously, it was one of the few subgroups that didn't have to have odd or brightly colored uniforms.

As much as I want a new Toxozombie (Correctly colored!) I really wouldn't like Eco Warriors to come back

I like the night force for that reason also however if they keep the original members (88-89), I would disagree. The only guys I would want out of there is Outback and Tunnel Rat. If they create a whole new night force then I'm down. BTW how come Low-Light was never be a member of the night force?

i had to go with Slaughters Marauders as they had some great figs and a cool idea. 2nd up would be the IGs as you got to love them with the new destro were getting.

I think the Iron Grenadiers fit in the best with the rest of the line and have a lot of cool and visually interesting characters. Although, I always liked Mercer, Red Dog and Taurus (although they were Slaughter's Renegades).

I don't know if they fall into a sub-group, but what about the Oktober Guard??

I loved these guys in comics but they never really had a chance to make into the Joe single packs. :(

Well, judging on what people are voting for, I don't think there's any question as to what is the most popular. Honestly, I think if you love Cobra characters (which were always my favorite figures to collect) then the Iron Grenadiers are just as cool. Any character that has a mask on is always cool, and most of Cobra and the I.G.'s have masks!!

I don't care about a Sgt. Slaughter figure. I thought he was kinda lame when I was a kid and don't care if he gets the 25th Anniversary treatment.

I'm the only mook who voted for Sky Patrol. I always loved them; in a general sense they seemed more realistic than lots of other Joes, with at least semi-real weapons and parachutes. I also remember them as some of the last figures I ever got, because it was about 89-90 that I stopped collecting, so there's a nostalgia effect there, too.

I can't agree with that. The two cooles ones were the IG and the PP. the rest kind of sucked. I hate the ninja force, tiger force isn't as cool as the pp. eco warriors? they made Flint a hippie.

Red Shadows because they were huge and still have a big following in the UK

SKAR because seeing them in 3 and 3/4inch 25th style would be killer

I would have to agree with the previous person who suggested sgt. slaughter and his marauders. We need a 25th sarge, and it would be right up hasbro's alley to make the marauders which would be all repaints of figures they have already made, if they varied from the original grouping.

None of the subgroups appeal to me enough to muscle out individual character releases, but I've always had a soft spot for the PYTHON PATROL.

i think that the IG's are a no brainer,,,,i mean they have a cool look and enough of a recanizble presence....plus i'm of scotish descent so i gotta vote for my peeps LOL

the other 2 i want would be night force and sky patrol,,,,,i mean tiger force, python patrol, are alright but i never liked the colors of slaughters maruders

The IG's weren't even really a sub-line, either. They were sold in the main line with the Joes, Cobras and 'Noks.

If they were offered, I would rather vote for Cobra-La than any of these. A complete cast of Dreadnoks would be a close second. Given the above choices, I had to go with Iron Grenadiers. I'd love to see a 25th Voltar with ARAH accurate details, but with his garish fuscia threads recolored to wine red.

Sky Patrol because I want more new characters. Plus They could expand Sky Patrol past just the 6 members and include Crazy Legs, Free Fall and Ripcord, Starduster, Flying Scorpion and Black Vulture, and Manleh. Since that will never happen, I guess I'll be amassing an army for Destro!

There are only four sub-groups I want to see utilized in the 25th line (none of them Joe ones because they all sucked) which are the IRON Grenadiers, Python Patrol, Headhunters, and COBRA's Eco-Warriors.

I agree, the best sub-group to make would be one with unique characters instead of repaints. That's why I chose Battle Force 2000. Plus they could do the vehicles too. They should make the original characters from the other sub-groups (e.g. tunnel rat, shockwave) before they go and make their repaints, duh.

Being that Iron Grenadiers are something of a given at this point, I chose Slaughter's Marauders, because when I was younger I loved the episodes (movie? I can't remember...) that Sgt. Slaughter introduced. I never had his toy, but I would love to have a 25th version.

Well it's a given that the TF and PP will be made since they already started. IG is picking up with the soon to be released comic pack. With almost all of the mauraders made already, if I could revote I would now pick the Night Force.

I voted Oktober Guard. Mostly because I want them to get some of their own vehicles. I don't like the new body styles and don't buy any of the new figures but i do buy vehicles.
second choice would be Iron Grenadiers for the same reason. All of the original IG vehicles were lame and i'd like to see some new ones. simple designs in basic colors. is that too much to ask for?

I voted for Iron Grenadiers (like may others, apparently), because it's the only choice that is both interesting, contains army builders, and would utilize all new sculpts, and not be full of repaints.

However, if the NINJA FORCE was added, I would have probably voted for that, since I'd love to see updated versions of Slice and Dice, and not to mention those cool versions of Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, and Scarlet.

I dont get why Ninja Force isnt on the poll. I know Im prob gonna get a tomatoe thrown at me now, but I'll vote on the independant platform and say NF...I want a 25th NF Snake Eyes, Dojo, T'jbang, Slice, Dice, Storm Shadow, Scarlet...and anyone else I may have forgotten....yes, I admit it. Ninja's are my fave.

I voted Sky Patrol, not necessarily for figure remakes.....I just want to see some more chrome shiny vehicles. Cobra could have gold ones, shiny gold, or even metallic crimson....or whatever just as long as its bling bling shiny.

Other than my apparent love for reflective surfaces, I would have to go with Night or Python I suppose. Or possibly a "White Tiger" Force, which could end up looking like Zebra Force I suppose.....hmmm

I'm a child of the '80s. Hands down it has to be the Oktober Guard.

Besides the Joes, no other group was formidable with cool names like Horror Show, Stormavik, Dragonsky, Colonel Brekhov, Daina, and Schrage.

Throw in one of Misha, Lt. Gorky or Big Bear with the above 6, and that's a must buy 7-pack for me.
