saw remnants of wave 5 CPs this morning at 2 stores. They only had the SE/SS and CG/Officer CPs that come in the case. It was easy to see since these don't have the DOC promotion on them. Oh well.

Hello fellow Rhode Islanders. Just joined the forums. I would be glad to help in giving anyone a heads up on sightings if I could get the same in return. I live in Cranston. I've spotted both Snow Serpent and BATS in TRU in Warwick as well as the new Target in the Warwick Mall. The other Target on Bald Hill never has anything. The WalMart in RI Mall has tons of comic 2 packs.

Try the Target up on 44 in Smithfield (apple valley). I was up there a couple of weeks ago and saw a few Zartans. Firefly is near impossible to find now. The others, you just have to keep looking.

And, by the way - one thing I don't understand about scalpers - they go out, spend money on these figures and sell them for.... THE PRICE THEM PAID FOR THEM???? I could understand if they sold them for like 50 bucks or something, but if you look on ebay, they all seem to be selling for the same price you pay in the stores!

Sorry, I don't have extras of any of those guys. I haven't seen much lately either. TRU in Warwick hasn't had much in the way of singles for a few weeks now...at least when I check. They have 2 - 3 Wild Bills/Torpedoes and a Duke IIRC. They have the 5 packs, vehicles, and 3-packs. Also, the DVD packs are everywhere, tons of them! The Walmart in the RI Mall seems to have gotten a wave 8 revision. They still had Hiss Tank Drivers, Rock N' Rolls, a blue Baroness, and city assault Roadblock tonight.

I'm really just sticking to my preorders online now. All I see is older stuff and the stores around here and SE MA seem to get everything well after the fact.

MTN, you'll probably have to check off-the-beaten-path for any "leftover" Sigma figs since they're discontinued and not restocked anymore. I saw Sigma figs recently at Toys R Us (don't forget to check the overhead bins too) and Bennys stores. Other stores that *might* have leftover Sigma figs: Kmart, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, KB toys. Toy Vault at the mall had a loose sigma Toxic Zartan for cheap. Good luck.

I live very close to that Walmart...stocked with lots of older stuff like wave 7/8 along with a few others. DVDs and wave 1 - 3 comic packs all up in your face, too. They're always behind though. I've gotten everything 1 - 2 months before they've had it. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I bought a Joe there. Though I do get eyeballed by the main toy guy there...I wonder if someone messed up the section once because I swear this guy is making sure I'm not doing something. And I know I'm not being paranoid, Lody here has had the same experience.

LOL that's pretty funny. The two guys last night were pretty cool. They had a bunch of newer stuff and I was looking for Wave 1-3 and I asked the guy. He said "come with me sir" and brought me to another aisle where they had a ton of older stuff (no Zartan, though.... arg!).

Jimmy, do you only collect single-carded and moc? Otherwise, there isn't really a need to hunt down those older single-carded figs.

- Firefly in the comic pack is just as good as the single-pack firefly, a lot of people like the comic pack version better cuz the darker colors more accurate to classic arah firefly.
- Zartan in upcoming wave 11 looks better than the old one, the new chest is more accurate to classic arah zartan.
- Major Bludd in upcoming pyramid of darkness dvd battlepack and extreme conditions battlepack look better than the existing Bludd, using the grand slam / hiss driver chest more accurate to classic arah bludd instead of the zartan chest.
- Upcoming "Hall of Heroes" will re-release all or most of the collector favorite figs.

The Wal-Mart in the Swansea Mall had a rough patch for a while, but it was good in the beginning and it's getting better now. But, not for the earlier waves. If anyone needs to know what they have, let me know as I work in the area and it's no problem to stop by and take a look.

Target Warwick Mall - Usual single card figures. 1 Hawk, a few Torpedoes, Vipers. Usual Selection.

TRU Warwick - Still bare on the single figures. 3 Wild Bills and that's it. Some comic 2 packs including Dreadknocks if anyone is still looking for those. Some HISS tanks and 5 packs, as well as Cobra 3 packs but nonne of the Crimson Guard 3 packs.

WalMart RI Mall - Nothing new here either. Grabbed myself a Barbecue though, b ut he was the only one. Tons of comic 2 packs, HISS tanks and other viechles.

I did come across new comic packs in target north and tru in warwick, no destro and ig at eiter though. Tru also had 2 flash and and several major bludd, I remember someone looking for him.

I asked the target to hold a set of planes for me this morning and they refused. So I hope a few board members got them.

Since RI is such a small state, you know what we should do? Have a 7:30am meetup at a particular store where we can just totally hassle scalpers (not physically, obviously) and just BUY EVERYTHING right in front of them. You know, because if there are three or four - or even two - of us, they won't even be able to get their hands on anything.

Picked up a Major Bludd today at the Wal-Mart in Newport near the Pizza Hut (kinda close to the Newport Bridge). They had a TON of Joes.... a few Serpentors, some Flints, Rock & Roll and a ton of others. They only had one Bludd and I grabbed it. Only thing that sucks is that it looks like someone bent the top part of the packaging.... maybe to deter scalpers? Still got him, though.

That brings my personal collection to:

Joes: Duke (v. 1 and Jetpack), Snake Eyes (v.1 and with swords), Sgt. Flash, Spirit, Barbecue

Cobra: Cobra Commander (hooded and with mask), Destro (v. 1), Storm Shadow (v. 1), Major Bludd

All I need now are Firefly and Zartan to complete my Cobra lineup and a few more Joes because, yes, I know my Joe lineup is weak. LOL!

When I was at target in warwick there was none to be found. Almost like they misplaced a case. Smithfield had one set that looked like someone just through on the shelf as a afterthought. I was so happy to get them I did not ask if they had anymore. congrads on your score as well and that you.

Went 2 Target on Bald Hill Rd in Warwick this afternoon and to my delight (after hitting Target Warwick Mall) There was 1 Rattler and 1 Conquest. WOOHOO! Looks like the scalpers missed out on that! Congrats to every1 who managed to pick these up. And 2 every1 so far who has missed out, good luck. Hopefully Target will keep these stocked so all of us fans can grab them.

TRU Warwick had many revision figures today and I saw 1 of each of the new 5-packs along with old 5 packs, old 3 packs, old CPs, old DVD packs and old vehicles. Both Targets had the planes (mall had 2 Rattlers and 1 Conquest, the other 1 of each). I didn't buy any figures. I did buy a diet Pepsi and some humidifier filters at Target.

nah, the Holmes HWF100 replacement filter 3-pack. Got 'em at the mall one. The other didn't have them. I ran out last year and they had already put them away / ran out and didn't get any after that. I wanted to get them when I saw them this time. They went up $1 in price ($9.99 to $10.99). I had a $5 gift card to help. :) I thought I kept getting sinus infections last year, but it wasn't this humidifier really eliminated the constant stuffy nose and stuff.

I've got what I want on pre-order so I haven't been hunting for Joes as much lately. The new DVD packs are sitting in my pile of loot at BBTS and I already got the Fire Bat / Sharc from the GIJCC.

they charge you when they get it, but don't ship (they charge you shipping). they then add stuff to your order when it comes in so you save on shipping. they ship it when you tell them to. the only thing I got from them so far was my set of 6 for wave 9 and I didn't have the PoL option on. After that I turned it on since a bunch of stuff was due around the same time. The new DVD packs are there right now...I'm going to let my set of 6 for wave 10 and my case for wave 11 add to it then ship it. After that I have a case of wave 12, a Sky Hawk, and a case of wave 13...I'll probably let 12 and the Sky Hawk ship together.

You can cancel your order at any time and they don't charge you until they actually get it. If you cancel after they got it (sitting in your PoL), they'll only give you a store credit. I've had other stuff on pre-order, but found it first from somewhere else so I canceled a few orders.

Wsup everyone. Target in Attleboro on RT.1 had 2 Rattlers and 2 Conquests. Target in the Warwick Mall had 2 Conquests and 1 Rattler as of yesterday afternoon. No new figure sightings to report. Seems like Target is starting to keep up on the stock of these now.

I was in the tru warwick today and they had the new firebat and shark. I actually bought the shark and left the firebat cause I have it on order with bbts. Tru raised their prices my jaw fell when my total was almost 18 dollars. They also had a few cases of ig destro, cg, black se, wb, ect.

yea, the retail prices are getting out of control, while some online prices are better. Of course it depends on whether or not you buy by the case or individually. Cases are still $59.99 on BBTS, which is about $7.50 a figure and in my mind the shipping is the same as driving around trying to find everything and the sales tax so it's not a factor to me. I will just try to trade the extras for a couple of the CP figures or sell them cheaply just to get some of the money back.

Anyway, on our way out of town the next day I thought it would be a cool idea to go look at that big mall downtown...right near the train station.

They didn't even have a toy store there!

How is this possible?

It seems to me like Hasbro must be a major part of the local economy. So how is it that there is not a Hasbro outlet store right there in town somewhere? And how is it that local stores are not FULLY stocked?

I guess I just don't understand economics.

I saw the desert Awe at the WM on Post Rd as of 1:15 today. Everything else there was old / revision stuff. The TRU in Attleboro had the new 5 packs on Saturday night. Walmart at the RI Mall had wave 5 CPs last week. I picked up a black head Destro.

A week or so later I scored Sgt Boulder on the clearance rack at Kmart in Attleboro.

Last I knew, KB Toys outlet at Wrentham Outlets had the Sigma Strike Duke and some random figs.

same here on the sightings. seeing alot of the combat heroes now and they're pretty cool. was at WalMart on Branch Ave in Prov this AM and scored the Destro IG 2pack w/the Destro black head variant so I was pretty souped. No new waves sighted and no new DVD packs either.

the best help I can give anyone is online. I use bbts a lot but I plan on trying entertainment earth. It can get very frustrating not ever fiding anything. Also you add up the gas and TIME spent. Now I just get frustrated at my cc bill. lol

Yea me and my son got there about 10 minutes before we rang out and they they were. That is the first time in like 2 months i've seen Joe's other than revision figs on pegs. The Wraith was the reg version. I usually go thru BBTS. entertainment earth is horrible to deal with. when your preorder comes in, they charge your card but don't email you letting you know your card has been charged. they only email you when your items ship out.

It's basically a matter of being in the right place at the right time. scalpers don't usually go the stores on weekends cuz they go there everyday during the week. TRU must've just stocked the Joe's that morning.

I saw 2 regular Wraiths at Kohls at the RI Mall today. They have their singles priced as $9.99, but they may have been 10% off...and you can always try bringing the Target price tag to get it cheaper.
